Hey John, maybe a tough question to answer, but I'd love to get some tips on how I can come up with better bass lines. Yours always have such a great character to them. For someone like me that doesn't really play the keyboard all that well, are there any tricks that can help me piece together better grooves? One thing I've noticed is that you tend to use the black keys a lot when you're inputting bass notes. Is this intentional, or is it just what the song calls for based on the melody?
Hardware helps keep music interesting and can nspire creativity. I am surprised so many professionals are completely ITB though. Gary Numan has a Raven Mtz, Studio monitors and a computer -- and that's pretty much it. His albums don't suffer for it though, at least tonally. If I had that kind of money though, I'd go in the direction of Alessandro Cortini -- collecting all the classic gear that spoke to me.
Imagine if this app is like a record label that hamstrings your success once you reach your 3rd album/close to 100K subs...I think a dope record with a video will push your channel over the top at this point. Features ain't expensive... Peace.

obvious but follow the kick for the groove. i like to buss the kick and bass with glue
