So spectacular! Definitely a place I would love to visit. I wouldn't be able to sit on the floor of the bus, or hike that long anymore - Lol. Love those waterfalls - amazing. Well done, my friends. Very informative as always. Big like and full play 👍. Thanks for sharing and have a great weekend 😀.
Whoa a 5 hours hike sounds a lot but the beauty of this park certainly keeps you engaged all the time.. breathtaking views throughout the trail. The crystal clear water and the scenic visuals are such a delight. Thank God there are washrooms and foodstalls in the middle. The long wait for the boatride seem to be totally worthed
Wow! Plitvice Lakes looks so pretty! We were thinking of going there as we're just a couple of hours drive away at the moment. We're surprised how busy it is. We've been in Croatia for the last month or so, and we haven't seen nearly as many tourists as you had in your video. That must be where all the people are!
Lol, we were there at the end of high season so it was still quite busy. Maybe because it's still a bit early in the season you won't have to deal with such crowds and because you have your own car you definitely won't have to deal with an oversold bus. We highly recommend it though. It's a great experience!
What a beautiful destination, definitely on our bucket list. You give such great info. I knew it was waterfall loaded, but did not realise their where so many. Thanks for the inspo😀
Yes, Plitvice was definitely one of our favorites in Croatia. Right beside Dubronik and Rovinj. It's definitely worth adding to your Croatia itinerary.
I love to take recommendations from locals and reviews when I'm doing my trip planning and day trips too. This was such a pretty national park and I loved the waterfall views. Good tips about bringing your own lunch and water to avoid the lines and save some money! I think I'd still wait in line for that boat ride though! Scenery was great.
We were worried about being late for the bus so I was glad we bought our own lunch to save time. We wound up having plenty of time at the end. But you just never know how things are going to go.
I love that David made a point to share he was doing the hike voluntarily 😁 That is so cool you two keep pushing your limits when it comes to hiking...5 hrs is a long time! All of the little falls along the way were so pretty and relaxing.
This brought back memories for us! That bus journey was crazy busy for you guys, sitting on the floor for that length of journey is crazy, hope they gave a discount for overbooking. Great job hiking 5 hours both of you! Also good planning to bring lunch with you, it looked super busy but still as beautiful as we remember, we’re thankful we drove though seeing the crowds😅
No discount! We were just grateful to be on the bus really otherwise we would have been delayed an hour and a half which would have ruined our trip to the park. No worries though, these are the little inconveniences you forget all about once they’re over.
You two are huge hikers! ("Doing this voluntarily" lol) It's something we rarely and nearly never do and we dedicate that time for eating more instead lol (hence we both gained weight) haha. The waterfalls are so calming and nice. Glad there are bathroom stops too! Such scenic views with bird chirping in the background!
You guys are really lucky to visit here. I have been planning to go there for a long time. Hopefully some day soon. Loved the concept of shuttle bus to take it back to the entrance 😍. Loved this vlog 👌
I can't wait to go with my family this summer! What time did you guys arrive to the park, and what time would you suggest arriving? Thanks for the great video!
WOW! It looks BEAUTIFUL! lol way to both commit to a 5 hour hike together. Proud of you. It looks like it was worth it. The waterfall at the vary beginning was lovely. Love all the colors and the mini waterfalls on your walk too. Also, I can't believe you sat on the floor for 2 hours on the bus to get there!! That's wild the bus was that oversold and still let everyone on. Way to have a positive attitude and just roll with the punches.
Yes we’re glad we decided to sit off the floor because we didn’t want to waste hours waiting on the next departure. The park is too spectacular and definitely worth getting there early!
Wow looks so beautiful! all those falls and the turquoise water looks enchanted, looks so inviting to jump and swim, unfortunately its prohibited haha, by the way why it is not allowed to use a drone?
Ugh, not so fun to ride on the bus for 2 and a half hours like that! Lol, "doing this voluntarily" 😂 Yay for bringing your own lunch! Plitvice definitely is magical... We visited 3 years ago last month, and had wild weather--it was definitely an adventure!! (You can go watch our video sometime if you want 😎) At least we did not deal with so many people like y'all did! 😉
Sorry that your day started so badly by having to sit on the floor of the bus 😣 But looks like the day turned out great! Can’t believe how many people there were! The lakes are gorgeous, the colour is stunning 💙💚 Great idea to pack your own lunch, the lines for food seemed pretty long 🙈

Believe us! We weren’t planning on sitting on the floor either. It was a long hike so it’s definitely not for everyone. It was worth it though!

@@LucasWorldTravel How long was the entire time you spend there? Do you think you'd need more or less time or was it just right to see it all?
I appreciate your videos keep up the good good work
Aww, thanks again for the encouragement Carmen! It means so much to us! Thanks for watching!
Greag job😊

Yes, I have no idea why David felt the need to document his hiking consent. He's the comedian of the family.

Hi. Just stumble on your nice video. Love it. Am planning to go in April 2023. When was this video shot? TIA
It was in late September. Enjoy your trip!
Umm, you guys are hikers too! Didn’t you just hike Sinai? That counts big time!
You guys are really lucky to visit here. I have been planning to go there for a long time. Hopefully some day soon. Loved the concept of shuttle bus to take it back to the entrance 😍. Loved this vlog 👌
Many thanks Adi! Hope you can make it to Croatia soon. It’s lovely!
I can't wait to go with my family this summer! What time did you guys arrive to the park, and what time would you suggest arriving? Thanks for the great video!
I think the bus arrived around 10:15-10:30 am. We had tickets for 11 am so we had to wait a bit to enter.
Thank you for sharing this! I’ll be there next week. How long was the wait for the boat ride?
It wasn’t too bad. Maybe 15-20 minutes. Enjoy Plitvice!
WOW! It looks BEAUTIFUL! lol way to both commit to a 5 hour hike together. Proud of you. It looks like it was worth it. The waterfall at the vary beginning was lovely. It’s a national park and drones are usually prohibited in National Parks.

Yes our experience was crowded but still fantastic. We tend to forget the hiccups and only remember the beauty.
We can relate to that! Though sometimes the hiccups make the experience a more memorable adventure! :-D
Sorry that your day started so badly by having to sit on the floor of the bus 😣
But looks like the day turned out great! Can’t believe how many people there were!
The lakes are gorgeous, the colour is stunning 💙💚
Great idea to pack your own lunch, the lines for food seemed pretty long 🙈
It was a hectic morning but it was worth it! These are the prices you pay for amazing experiences!
Hey which month you visited?
This was in September.
i heard there is no boat no bus in the park in January, is it true? if no boat no bus how to go trail C?
We never heard this before so can’t advise. Good luck!
Which month did you visit in? Was it cold?
This was mid September. It was a little cool. Not cold though.
Imagine living in a country where ther's no armed guards and everyone is following the rules!
