i agree that cecillia is a must have. aoe absorb will always be useful in at least pve

Yo man I'm late here, i picked kaylin, kaoli and mamonir as my defender and buffed them with albion, floria and refi. Jin is is buffed by albion too and just throw valtor in the mix and it did well in arena.

I actually think that Eleaneer is still relevant, she is pretty useful for PvP and PvE, at least for me.

Definitely still useful in PVE, but like I mention in PVP, if you selected Mamo from Jump Start Quest 3, she can do whatever Eleaneer does most of the time and even more (tanking wise). Also you only get to use 9 units no matter what, I would pick Mamo over her. Of course for newer players who don't have maxed legends yet, Eleaneer can be a good substitute.

She is my first +15 unit I build her with enough to buff to oneshot every unit who have under 100% def now She also can kill Seto well

I didn't hear you mention glacia for defenders. I got mine to 15 and her glacier skill makes her impossible to kill! Definitely my favorite 5 star
She's strong in her own rights at 15 but below that she's not that good which makes her a heavy investment.

well, i am picking the right mercs so far, Lyudmila my fav 5* warrior, fully rank boosted, but as you said, really hard to make her stay alive long enough... with a Veronia it could be awsome, but right now i preffer to boost her HP with Floria so it hits even harder (+100k Valtor is not a challenge for her)
Gran is a killer for lyudmila

Hi GuitarRock! I just started the game!! I'm loving it so far, but I haven't completed the jumpstart quests yet. Which 5 stars should I choose to invest in?

@@GuitarRockFirst You don't, though. That was all good information generally but you didn't show and of the selections I have had as a brand new player, just reaching 21 or 22. You didn't address which legendary between the legendaries we are able to pick, for example. We can't pick from all of them but there are 2 points so far where we can pick one. And our 5 star choices are different than the ones you showed. At least for me.
I love the video though, really. You are my go-to guy on all things Brave Nine. Your info is good, current, and presented in an interesting way, and I like your personality as well. Even if it didn't address but I wanted it to it was still really good info. So I mean my statement about not covering these options in a positive, helpful, and constructive way.
I wish you had a website for the game too. I think the game has a great potential in that players are invited to give reviews on just about anything in the game. But when it comes to the mercenaries, while there are some good reviews on at least many mercenaries, there are there are far more comments about the mercenaries' asses. 😄
@@JJanuszkiewicz Hey appreciate the feedback. I didn't talk about legendaries in this video because I have a separate video for that. 5 star units and legendaries are different in this game. Legendaries are considered higher tier units. This video is specifically on the "5 stars" only as mentioned in the title. As for reviews it's quite hard to do as the meta is constantly changing in the game, as for waifus yea lots of players play this game for that reason because it has one of the best artwork around.

I have Celia, Angelica, Lucius and Valze. Who I should build it? I should transfer my Grand +11 to one of theme? I dont use her in arena any more, but in the pve modes is very useful.
Why not picking dwen or sigmund? And how to effectively build 5 strs hero from scratch?
Yes Dwen is broken right now, This video was done back then when Dwen wasn't +15 yet.

Guitar I am building seol ah right now cause I just finished building my Velfy to +15! Finally! Got his last companion on my 700+ scroll pulls, and I have 4 magicians that I can use on my team as well, so I am building seol ah right now, I can probably get her to +12 soon. Also on a side note, after velfy I still have 9 legend books left, should I go for celia +9, get comps later, or wait a bit to save for manor and get her to +9 and later pull comps for guild wars for the cancerous Albion mamor Luci combo? I also just finished building ventana to +15 for guild wars, she still usefull at guild wars still, but hard to say later on. So celia+9 right now, or mamor +12 possibly a lot later on? still need like 1420 AC till I can get mamor.
im still hesitate to build +15 legend between velfern and levia which one is better for guild war and pvp?
levia 15 is quute wasteful she works at 12 already. if u do have the resources 15 velfern is pretty pog
A direct dmg dealer... In todays meta everyone must have atleast one direct dmg dealer in thier team.
If i were u, i would have focused both levia and velf to +12 instead of one +15.
While levia needs +12, velf can still be op at +10.... Build slowly but carefully.

4 mage 2 tanks. Probably gran for one of your tanks for sure. For mages you could go nartas velf levia + a mage. Id try get gala so your nartas doesn't suicide and your gran lives on 1hp from ventana
I'm new to this game so let me ask which support character is best suited to be on the team with Seto.
Seto's third skill (flame guard) makes him Ignores Debuff skill type but also
Cannot receive Buff skill type except Immunity and Purification effect
This means that most supports cannot support him
If you want a support character it has to be focused on other units not Seto
If you are still confused you can ask more lol, this game has a lot of things for new players
do you think anyone could replace a +15 dalvi? just asking for pvp

Alec works along with the suggestion above. Dalvi is pretty dated
Im sorry but how is Christina insane? she doesn't kill anything but warriors and then you also need to guess the lane. Also what's with the "I don't think Baine is worth using anymore" but Christina, oh yeah Christina is pretty good.
Also disappointing that you didn't mention Orphina, Barbara who are pretty good in this meta. And Arkan is a budget Lucius.
First of all I think you misunderstood the point of the video, this is not like PVP tier list or anything. This is which character can help tackle contents easier for (WB, GW, Campaign, EC) especially for new accounts or returning players. Which is why Cecilia is better to have in most accounts than Arkan for example. Galania makes Christina extremely useful like I've mentioned in the video. Also I did mention why i said she's good (maybe you skip that part of the video which is weird), multi hit is always gonna be useful in situations like EC, GoC, etc especially she's the only one with 5 multis.
My Baine is being blocked left and right. Any lane with units that are debuff immune make him cry. He also gets taunt blocked if Mamo leads the lane.
What about valtor how could you forget about the gorilla

Galania+Eleaneer+Christina is cancerous~ my cristina one shotting seto is just so nice to watch~ then eleaneer just one shot most of the tanks
Ah yes it's cancer indeed, but instead of Eleaneer maybe you can try go Christina + Susayra instead. Christina can activate the crystals needed for Susayra most of the time.
