Just don't even think about anything that is not used in novice.. maybe except grosa.. for worldboss his hp is just insane.. and maybe in novice he could tank first hits as well.. I think boosting the supporters makes sense and they were my top choice (Sui, Hephaesia and Ebony as well) Iris is also top priority cause most ppl will max rank beatrice and she can do enough dmg to kill every unboosted Iris. My Iris has like 19k with runes now and survives most beatrices.. giving me an edge over the opponent. Most DPS do a lot of dmg so they don't need it anyway.. Eizen may have the best stats for but i'd always chose beatrice over him.. so not worth in the end. Xenon and Ayan are rather useless cause their dot doesn't anything against Iris or Carlson, who already attacked. Ridel is a good choice for sure and then all other warriors that are common in novice should get their boosts.. first for me was Beatrice, then Scarlet and Ridel followed by Deka and Maxwell. Why Maxwell.. his skills don't scale with atk.. but having a reasonable base atk when he gets buffed by Hepha often gives him enough power to onehit enemies without healing buff.. occures more often then not.. In the end it depends on what you are focussing in the game. I have not boosted any Legendary or 5 Star yet cause i only focus on novice.. so nearly all of my Novice Mercs are fully boosted or at least 3 to 4 stars boosted.. seems insane, but sometimes it just give this little bit more survivability or dmg to win in atk or to win defs. i think Shoman is not worth because he always oneshot enemy, really no point tho. same go for Morgana, she oneshot enemy most of the time (even if not having reflective counter because the offensive atk is huge cause by number of graves). Hephaesia also not worth because player usually use 2 supporters (such as Hephaesia + Ebony), ATK is always at capped.
Novice arena is the most active and the most fun, because EVERYONE can be first rank if they put effort, its not like normal arena that is very hard to +15 legendary or new 5 star units. Reason why in normal arena even if i log once in a while i don't drop much in rank. While novice, if i don't do arena for like 20 hours, i lose 70 points or more. Novice arena is more fun in my opinion :O because of these reasons. About the upgrade for units its very weird, they added this thing but there are very few units that REALLY need it, others is just totally useless, its a weird add to the game.

You have totally legit info why? Because you are unaffected my waifu stats, most the units you pick you like bromance with.
If Shoman survives enough it can provide alot.. and he does a ton of damage I really like it ( it the only good character that I have :)) )
Anyone got tips? I'm struggling at choosing either velfern +9 or mamo +9. I got +15 nartas, +10 seto, gunther, Kaoli , Lucius, iris, valtor, venaka, serendia.
