I like to imagine every guy that works with a 3d printer has a tub FULL of random prints that couldn't be sold at a dollar store, yet they created it so none the less it means alot to them. Lol the classic love story

As someone who likes to paint my 3d prints, having a bucket of scrap prints is a great way to test out different paint schemes.

Yeah I know, even my best attempts at getting a good print comes no where near this
Because he does them very slow and on a prusa. Prusas aren't fast but they are very easy to get good prints out of.
Glitter PLA, As low temp as possible and a lot of fan for the bridging.
The prints are brittle, but the viewer doesn’t know.
Look at those overhangs. Only in my dreams.
I was seeing those overhangs thinking, “he’s gotta have some massive cooling duct on that print head” and sure enough 😂
maybe I’m dumb, what are overhangs? 🤣
@@Reclinesmc it's 3d geometry that 'hangs over' with no support underneath. Like tree branches branching out under a central trunk or an arched bridge, ordinarily the overhang isn't just flat like that but at an angle because unless you have a big fan for cooling the hot plastic will just droop down when the hot end is moving with no support material underneath.
Looks like a 50mm fan. I use them on my ender 3 pro and s1

I love multi coloured filaments, I printed a loki headpiece that faded from green to yellow and it looked so cool, then I dropped it. I glued it back together though and, although it isnt perfect, I think it's really cool

I have done that while printing a job at home overnight to bring to work in the morning. pulled it off the printer at 8am and instantly dropped it and broke the corner off. My mistake didnt stop our work,but it changed our plans for the day.
How did that print with no supports?
Hah. This is nothing. We have a Gigabot 3+ XLT 900 at work, and are trying out a custom extruder assembly. (I don’t have the exact dimensions, but 800x800x1000 sounds about right.) Twice in a row we ran the thing overnight and came back to find it full of PETG pasta.
