    This is the best, and funniest Tennis match you will see today!
    11 years ago, Roger Federer, the man who needs no introduction, faced off against probably his favorite opponent ever, Andy Roddick.
    It was an exhibition match played in front of 18,000 fans at Madison square garden in New York.
    And let me tell you, it was one of the best nights tennis has ever seen.
    This match has everything: Great rallies, trick shots, casual chats between Roger and Andy which we barely see nowadays, and one of the most iconic post match interviews.

    He really changed his game to look more like Rafa's for a single serve there and it really worked. Not just fist pump etc. He actually shot high balls, top spin etc.

    • @skychaos87
      @skychaos87 Месяц назад +1

      Its an exhibition match, no way that worked for real. The quality of the spin and pace of the ball isn't anything close to Rafa. Federer was just taking it lightly for fun.

      @@skychaos87 You can see Roger clearly taking it easy on returns, but that doesn't mean the commenter wasn't right; his shots really did look different

    • @skychaos87
      @skychaos87 Месяц назад

      @@ANorseHorse Of course its different, its a top spin shot that he usually don't hit. But my point is that it did not "work" as OP suggested. The quality of that top spin, pace and depth is far lower than what Nadal puts out on average. Roddick isn't serious, neither is Federer, they are both just having fun.
