shashank pawar An opinion is not a fact, it's an opinion. A fact is Rafael Nadal has played Roger Federer 33 times and has beaten him 23 times. A fact is Andre Agassi and John McEnroe stated in their opinion, Rafael Nadal is the Goat. However that is their opinion!!!
I agree with you Mike. When comes to Rafa vs Roger, Nadal has got upper hand most time. In fact Roger also went on saying that if there is anyone from modern day players who can break his record grand slam titles tally, it's Rafael Nadal. But if you look at the numbers Roger has most of it. Will have to wait for 2-3 years to see if anyone surpass him, then probably continue this discussion of who is greatest. Cheers!
Where are may if:If Rod Laver would have not turned professional,if Borg had't missed so many Aussie Open,if Sampras had played during 60-70,when 3 oot of 4 Majors were playing on fast grass,if,if,if...Sure Roger is one of the greatest athletes ever,a phenomenal sportsman, the more successful Major winner, but where are many who consider Rod,Pete,Bjorn or even Rafa greatest.
Agassi comment to nadal ‘you seem much faster on tv’ - he made the exact same comment to carlos alcaraz a few weeks ago when they were playing doubles in the US Open
Andre has definitely more charisma than anyone else in tennis history. * Rafa misses a net volley* Agassi: "They don't make athletes like they used to...." xD
@@evelynnahsahahaahaha No, I don't. I think his comment was purely innocuous and Sampras let it bother him. Watch his face right after Agassi says it. Then, listen to his voice when he says "Okay, Andre". He took it the wrong way and then acted like a jerk in response. Agassi pulling out his pockets was in poor taste, but Sampras asked for it. He was bitter over Agassi playfully saying that he got serious, pushed his impersonation too far and for too long, and then he aggressively provoked Agassi at the 48:37 mark. To leave absolutely no doubt about his judgment being out of whack, Sampras then serves the ball right at Agassi at 49:26. He almost hits him, thus proving Agassi right. Too serious, especially for an exhibition match for charity.
Maybe the four best players I've ever seen. Amazing to have them all on the same court. When it's all said and done, Rafa will probably be #1. I'm predicting 18-19 majors for Rafa. His quality of opposition is what makes him so great as well.
TheSaxophoneMan16 You can do that with anyone though. Half of Sampras's were on grass and he never even won the French or an Olympic gold metal. And Federer can't be better than Nadal because Nadal dominated him throughout their career. Nadal beat Federer on grass at Wimbledon. He beat Djokovic at the U.S. Open. So he beats the best on their respected surface. They don't beat him at the French. So while he's figured out ways to beat the best on their surfaces, they haven't figured out how to beat him on his. I really don't see how he's not the best? He's the defending US Open champ and had his back not given out, he'd be the defending Australian open champ too. Also, why would you assume he's never going to win another major, other than the French? He's the defending US Open champion. And, like I said, he by all means, should be the Australian open champ too. I think you're rooting against him. Pretty obvious choice for me.
aretium1231 Federer dominated a weak era. It was a post-Sampras and Agassi era. And it was a pre-Nadal, and eventually Djokovic and Murray era. I'm not knocking Fed. He is arguably the greatest. But it was a weak era and that is why he was so dominant. Nadal has just had his way with Federer so easily though, that it's hard to put Fed above him. That's my opinion anyhow. No problem with someone saying Fed is the best though, None whatsoever.
aretium1231 Just wanted to point out your slight contradiction - you said "No such thing as the GOAT", but then went on to say that - "In my 2 decades of watching tennis there has only been one player who could play in all eras with all conditions" Isn't that you making an argument for Federer as the GOAT? I thought you said that there is no such thing? Had to call you on it, sorry bro.
aretium1231 That's fine. They are the two best players either way, however you rank them. Their careers aren't over yet either. Nadal is only 28 and currently is the defending champion at the French and U.S. Open and Federer almost won Wimbledon this past weekend.
ellystripes yeah it was a bit uncalled for. Sampras looked a bit pissed off, made be go off Agassi after this but your call on the Australian hit for Haiti is brilliant. Seen it many times and is one of my faves.
While it wasn't Andre's best joke of the night, it was harmless and if it bothered Sampras a little, good. Sampras was sleepwalking up to that point and after that he had motivation to make it more competitive.
@@liamdunphy7496, that would be akin to Sampras bringing up Brooke Shields. There are jokes that should push boundaries, and they should be pushed, but it felt out of place.
But we should all remember Andre’s back affliction was actually caused by a birth defect where his bottom disk is fused or something like that. There’s a medical term for it and I don’t think people would be okay with Pete making fun of his cleft palate if he had one- just sayin’!
The tension is just hilarious. Actually neither Agassi nor Sampras come off as particularly mature in this clip. Which, by the way, gives us an idea of how wonderful it might be if the top guys were to play doubles (regularly)..
They may have more total grand slams, but, Andre has a Career Golden Grand Slam which Roger and Pete don't have. Nadal has one and very few players have one. Pete won 14 slams, but, doesn't even have a career grand slam (all 4 slams on all 4 surfaces) Roger, Nadal, Andre have career grand slams but only Nadal and Agassi have Career Golden Grand Slams.....so......
The male commentator mentions at the beginning that Rafa had 6 GS titles but was expecting that to grow. Watching this in June 2014, just before Wimbledon and that number has already increased to 14!

teberesz Federer no. 1
Oliver McCall
Agreed, man! He is a true genius. lifted the bar once again.
Boring player of all time.
I like watching Sampras on those grass courts. My second favourite after Roger.
Roger is is adorable :)
@54:37 - Rafa and Pete go forehand to forehand - two of the heaviest forehands amongst great Grand Slam champions.
If rafa and roger play against each other in 10 years they would never talk to each other like that.
Think again
28:12 what the actual fuck, that return!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Its insane
Its insane
IIRC, Agassi was considered the best Returner of his generation.
yeah, that's what he did all the time in his prime
Roger Federer Greatest of all time. Hands down.
Thanks for your opinion!!! But not everyone agrees with you!!
It dosen't matter whether you agree or not.
But, fact remains fact.
shashank pawar An opinion is not a fact, it's an opinion.
I didn't know Roger already had 16 slams in 2010 and Rafa only had 6. So, in 10 years, Roger won 4 slams to Rafa's 14
Djokovic 18
Thanks for uploading this hilarious stuff, lawlz.
this started off super fun and then it got real awkward real fast lmfao
Andre has definitely more charisma than anyone else in tennis history.
* Rafa misses a net volley*
Agassi: "They don't make athletes like they used to...."
xD
LMAO 31:29
Nick Kyrios probably more
No only one player that takes that crown only one in history and that is the guy announcing John McEnroe
Questi 4 fenomeni saranno x sempre la storia del tennis ❤
Agassi created so much tension
Fr Fr Fr
Actually, it was Sampras who really created it at the 48:00 mark.
@@bubufubu dont you think agassi provoked that reaction tho?
At 38 it’s very hard for Sampras to keep up with the rest who are still full of stamina. I felt for him.
Had so much fun watching this xD
Pete is really a great partner.
this game would of been boring if agassi wasnt there.

@@gregson99 you are welcome
Almost 11 years later: Roger added 4 additional slams, Rafa added 14 😳😳
I was thinking the same thing over here.
Make that 15
Meanwhile Nole has added 19 🤯
@@siddharthgollapudi07 nole wasn't even part of the hit for Haiti indian wells video lol
@@khale4nia so?? He still won 19 slams from the time the match was played right?
Maybe the four best players I've ever seen. Amazing to have them all on the same court. When it's all said and done, Rafa will probably be #1. I'm predicting 18-19 majors for Rafa. His quality of opposition is what makes him so great as well.
If he has 18 slams and 13 French Open Wins, he will not be the GOAT in my opinion, however.
No problem with someone saying Fed is the best though, None whatsoever.
aretium1231 Just wanted to point out your slight contradiction - you said "No such thing as the GOAT",
but then went on to say that -
"In my 2 decades of watching tennis there has only been one player who could play in all eras with all conditions"
Isn't that you making an argument for Federer as the GOAT?
I thought you said that there is no such thing?
Had to call you on it, sorry bro.
aretium1231 That's fine. They are the two best players either way, however you rank them. Their careers aren't over yet either. Nadal is only 28 and currently is the defending champion at the French and U.S. Open and Federer almost won Wimbledon this past weekend.
Novak is probably watching inside his room sulking.
Boy, watching Sampras and Agassi playing again brings back so many memories from the good old days.
Raphael at 40:02: Andre, stop a Little bit.....
well, joking and trying to be funny is good. but too much of sarcasm is rudeness!
i am totaly agree with you
Rafael*
Did anyone notice how Federer and Nadal simultaneously doubled over in disbelief after Sampras went after Agassi on the server at 49:25? Priceless...
All the tipping nonsense really ruined the match, it got too awkward. The Australian Hit for Haiti is much more relaxed, and funnier too.
ellystripes yeah it was a bit uncalled for.
@@mikesannitti6042 Agassi was the person who brought up the cheap tipping charge in his book and then acted like everyone knew about it.
@@EndoftheTownProductions that's kinda where it fell flat, but i do think it helped Sampras wake up and compete.
@@mikesannitti6042 Sampras just ends up hitting that great volley to end the game.
''pete we all know the secret now let it go'' HAHAHAH
Lmao Agassi is a comedic legend
Four legend's ❤❤❤
Watching this over never gets old hahahahaha cracks me up!
lol i found it way to entertaining that Agassi, Nadal, and Sampras carried their own stuff out. Then Federer came out and had his own carrier for him.
Oh man that escalated quickly... That was unnecessary from Andre, they were all having fun until he went personal on Sampras. Very uncalled for
Markus Machado it’s called a jole
@@liamdunphy7496, that would be akin to Sampras bringing up Brooke Shields. There are jokes that should push boundaries, and they should be pushed, but it felt out of place.
@eoe123321 Nope
On tennis court, Pete beat Agassi, but Agassi much eloquent than Pete
But we should all remember Andre’s back affliction was actually caused by a birth defect where his bottom disk is fused or something like that. There’s a medical term for it and I don’t think people would be okay with Pete making fun of his cleft palate if he had one- just sayin’!
The tension is just hilarious. Actually neither Agassi nor Sampras come off as particularly mature in this clip.
Which, by the way, gives us an idea of how wonderful it might be if the top guys were to play doubles (regularly)..
It's just that they never liked each other, unlike Rafa and Roger
They all have more titles but Andre's jaw game is next level.
Federer's reaction at 57:40, priceless!
This is actually a stand up show with Andre Agassi.
The male commentator mentions at the beginning that Rafa had 6 GS titles but was expecting that to grow. Watching this in June 2014, just before Wimbledon and that number has already increased to 14!
MrGameDude6 and it is the same to this day
He has 16 now
17 already
Adam D'Souza 18 now
20 now!
When you realize Nadal is the same age as Pete in this video, today. Time sucks
The GOAT of tennis Pete Sampras with the current GOAT of tennis Roger Federer.
Excellent event for good cause. And of course, now Rafa is 22 GS and Roger 20, just amazing.
49:30 Nadal and Roger are dying laughing 😂
Shit got awkward real fast..
