Oh man, you’re right! I wish I would have thought of that! Next time for sure! We love the animal shelter. That’s where elope came from!
I’m sure it’s too late, but as someone that sews, it’s really nice finding sheets (even really stained ones) at thrift stores to use as cheap mock up fabric when pattern making!!
Packing up your home to move is the perfect time to declutter. I made the mistake of just packing up our apartment when we first moved into our current home. Now years later I'm still decluttering items that we moved with, but serves no purpose in our life. My mom was ruthless when she packed up to move out of her home, with my dad ill and she inspired me 💚Looking forward to going on this new life journey with you and your family.
You are so motivating! We are just starting the process too! I’m also trying to be “ruthless” because we are downsizing while we build. It’s really hard to part with certain things but also really freeing to give things way that were just taking up space in our home!
Getting motivated to declutter and get super clean, even if I'm not selling our house right now. I just want the job done. Long overdue. Thank you.

I would caution against getting rid of too much. We did this process last year and I regret getting rid of as much as we did because furniture prices ( and prices of everything) have gone up a lot and wait times can be insane. If you think you might be able use it/ repurpose it later at all maybe hang on to it.

Hi Allie! Ask your local supermarkets if they having any extra boxes in the back..my husband is a store merchandiser & they always have heavy duty recycled boxes in the back rooms of the grocery stores. He was able to bring home boxes for our home, his parents house, & his grandparents house for free when we all moved to Texas!

We’ve had this storage bench when we lived in apartments! We’ve always used it for bedding. It was great then!

Right now my world is upside-down I am moving now from Oregon back to my home in Southern Utah. My dad just passed away may 19th that's why I am moving home to be with my mom. I am a little over 3 month postpartum as well.
