This is the most emotional version of "Shallow" I've heard so far, I always get a lump in my throat when I hear it. But it's hard for me to choose my favorite song from what Floor sang in this TV show, ALL her interpretations were out of the ordinary. You've listened to 3 so far - can you pick just one?
Emma Heesters makes covers that she publishes on her YT channel, gaining a large national and international audience. She has a pleasant, sweet voice. In the Beste Zangers show she presented herself very well, and in the episode dedicated to Floor she sang "Strong", a song composed by Floor for her mother, from the After Forever repertoire - an emotional cover, especially for Floor.
Emma was on a talent show on Belgian TV this past week and gave a good showing, it was a mix of Belgian and Dutch performers on it.

The young blond lady is Emma Heesters, a young and not yet known new artist who started her carreer doing covers on RUclips. Like Floor she also did a duet on this show "Beste Zangers 2019" with Henk Poort, called "Vivo per Lei". Beautiful to watch her as well, which also applies to Henk Poort himself (Sound of Silence).
I love it too. In my opinion, with Phantom of the Opera the best duet of the show.
I also absolute love it. Its even on my main playlist (Phantom is not because i heared that too much in reactions)

In the very few years of listening to YT...Floor is in a league of her own!!! The first time I heard Floor sing "Shallow".... I was blown away!!! I had tears running down my cheek, mainly because she, Floor, sang the song perfectly! And if Floor is bringing tears down my cheek, well...this 6'6" old Offensive Lineman is really impressed and happy all at the same time! I'm 65 years young and there has been only one other female vocalist that has ever made me cry, and that was Karen Carpenter. .

This performance is a masterclass in vocal flavor. The way Floor sculpts every single note into subtly nuanced sounds and weaves them together so coherently is beyond amazing. The more you listen to it, the more little details you hear of what she’s doing with her voice and it just gets more and more beautiful. Probably my favorite performance of hers from this series.

The next number " Mama" is also fabulous. She sing that for Samantha Steenwijk, the other blond (a bit older) singer. Just follow other songs From "Beste Zangers" (also from other seasons) and enjoy.
Emma Heesters also did a song for Floor that is definitely a few tissue boxes worth of emotional.
They're all talented vocalists it's in the name of the show lol. They really need this show in the united states.

It really highlights her versatility and skill as a singer that she can do this and turn around and do metal then flip and do opera. I find that to be so impressive. The producer who did the arrangement for Lady Gaga's version saw this and commented on how beautiful this was.

Beste Zangers 2019 season was actually the best season ever of this show. There has never been a better set of singers, and it helped too that Floor set the bar so high, and that right with the season opener which you reacted to already, that was Vilja Lied. It is German, from the operetta Die Lustige Witwe, The Merry Widow, and it is pronounced Vheel-ya Lead - as in to lead.
All of the songs Floor performed are on my playlist, plus a couple of other ones from this season.

Emma does Floor's song Strong. Floor wrote the song for her Mother who suffers from Rheumatoid Arthritis. Freya turns 6 in March. There's avodeo of Floor singing O Holy Night in Finnish 6 months pregnant.
Since her appearance on Beste Zangers, Emma has become a huge star, especially in India. She plays to massive crowds all over the world now.
Watching the powerhouse go so delicate is amazing in and of itself.
The way she sings this matches the lyrics perfectly, it is a song about vulnerability, and does not need a massive belt. Thanks for the reactions in this format, loving the journey with you, Debbie.

Well done. I'm glad that you are working through all of Floor's performances on Beste Zangers as they are are all excellent. Don't miss her performance two years later when she had just had her gall bladder removed and was in lockdown. They did a Beste Zangers special with selected singers performing old songs from the Eurovision Song Contest. Emma Heesters is a very good singer and was/is the most successful You Tube star in the Netherlands.For me inexplicable that she remained unnoticed for so long.
The guy with the fluffy beard is Tim Akkerman. Check him out as he does his tribute to Floor. He does a Nightwish song called Nemo. But he makes it his own as he turns it into an up-beat rock song. Greatly appreciated by Floor.
The one shame in this show is we didn't get a Floor/Emma duet. There really needs to be one.

Lets not forget that was live, no tricks to make it sound better. Floor is just that extremely good on her own.
That blonde girl you asked about is Emma Heesters and she is an amazing pop singer, cute as a button in her ways, a true girly girl so to speak.
And like Floor, she can grab you with her voice like few others can, her duet with Uncle Henk is to die for, easily an equal highlight of the evening compared to the "Phantom of the Opera" duet.

All of these artists are great and to see the emotions they draw from each of the other artists on the show (you will see tears, laughter, amazement and of course absolute joy) all the performances on this series is a must watch, you will be amazed.
The youngest man (Ruben Anning) said when it was "Floors Day" to sit and listen: "It's like climbing a vertical wall, trying to do a song for her..."
This performance grabs me by the feels every time. Delicate, impactful & powerful. Floor really is a ridiculously talented woman. She is without question the Beste overall Zanger that I have ever heard. :) Her ability to sing at such an astonishingly high standard in so many different styles and genres is simply amazing. "Winner" & "Mama" from this show are also standouts.

FYI: The whole idea of the TV Show ‘Best Singers’ is bringing together vocalists from different genres and have them to sing each others songs… This year Floor Jansen was asked to participate in the german version of the same show, called ‘Sing meinen Song’.

5:23 I don't know her career, but from this show I gather she is a RUclipsr, popular in her country, who sings covers. That's why Floor in her honor, also sang a cover.
The last episode they sang duets. My favorite one was of course Floor with Hank singing The Phantom of the Opera, but Imma (I think that is her name) also sang a duet with Hank and she impressed me singing toe-to-toe on power and intensity with Henk, while Tim, who made the other duet with Floor, jus could not keep up and his voice is completely lost when they sang together.
By the way, I love how Floor has such mastery of her craft, that she decided to sing Shallow with a sentimental tone, and by the end there was not a dry eye in the room. And it is not even a sad song!!! She just decided to sing it with feelings and every one was teary eyed!
Emma does a fantastic duet in the show with Henk. She has a lovely voice too.

Hi Debbie. Multiple breaths of fresh air for me this morning!! I’m feeling spoiled. Thank you. As has been mentioned please do react to Emma’s version of Floor’s song Strong, which Floor wrote for her mother. Warning though, it would be a multiple tissue box reaction. Highly therapeutic though. Everyone needs a good cry from time to time, and this is a ‘happy’ cry.

I don’t think you’ll be able to react to it though, for the same reason, but if you do watch it I am sure you’ll like it. Let me know if you need it again. Someone asked if she had the opportunity to work with one musician dead or alive who would it be. She immediately said Freddie Mercury. That duet is obviously not going to be possible... or is it. Floor covered Queen's "Who Wants To Live Forever" when she was with After Forever.
