Actually, Judy Garland did A Star is Born first. Then Kris & Barbra. I've seen all 3 movies & Barbra & kris's version is still my fav. This song is beautiful however & original to Lady Gaga & Bradley's version, just as each movie has had original songs. Bradley did good for not being technically a singer. I think many actors take dance & singing lessons early on to prepare them for a career where they are well rounded entertainers.
I remember watching this performance when it was on TV and liked them so much together in the movie, I was hoping they’d end the performance with a kiss. LOL but I think at the time she was still with Taylor Kinney and Bradley had a gf or something so it was unrealistic to wish for but their chemistry in the movie was just soo soo good, I wanted them together in real life. Lol
lady gaga is the greatest musical performer in history. she wrote the songs for the movie in addition to being nominated for an academy award for best actress, which, of course, she did not, was not allowed, to win.

ACTUALLY, Janet Gaynor did A Star is Born first. In 1937. The Judy Garland version was a remake. Then the Streissand version. Then the Gaga version.
There are 3 movie versions of "A Star is Born" that I know of. I believe this was performed at the Oscars. Happy New Year Cloty and Jim!
