Something similar happened to me, I was the Ottomans and the USSR declared war on me and Hungary joined, even though I had pretty good relations with them So as revenge, I let the USSR invade Anatolia and i obliterated Hungary, and prior to that the Russians did not know that I knew they were arming their navy so I armed mine, and moved capital from Istanbul to Jerusalem secretly. Russia failed in invading Anatolia and I captured Moscow, and the entire world cheered on me since the Russian player was pretty toxic
