I don't have a numpod but I use the ~tilda key to bring up wheel that shows the same option that the numpad has. You just move the mouse to your selection or hit the number on the keyboard.

@@Dude_Blender yes it was fairly easy, but still wish i had a numpod. I do have a 12 button mouse so it easily to jut hit ~ and use the numbers on mouse.
