this feels like the kind of reaction that we would see today on some social media blooper, its so trippy seeing him act the way a person would react to a televised mistake
so incredible, this man was. all i remember is playing tony hawk’s underground 2 as a kid & ring of fire was always playing on that game lmao i loved this song before then but good memories
Hey you’re gonna grow up great! That’s awesome. As you get a little bit older his journey as a person might seem pretty cool to you too. I’m sure you’ve heard this a million times but enjoy it while it lasts! Soon 12 and then you’re a teen. I’m 16 at the time of writing this and he helped me get through a whole lot in those formative tumultuous years! I know I may seem an overzealous jumble now, but I have a feeling you’ll get what I mean- especially if you’ve read this all til the end! You’re probably a wise old soul like me. 👍🏻
@@AttiMatter haha it made me so happy reading your comment! I’m actually turning 12 super soon!!!! So excited.😊 and yes, I do understand 😁 again, your comment made me super happy :D Have a good day/night :)
If I had to choose between Elvis and Johnny, no competition, Johnny would win - both big talents but what distinguishes Johnny is a pained but deep soul with a big heart, and so much love to give.
He was probably on speed, or something like that. But on his book he says that he was very shy, but he had 2 parsonalities. The shy one was "John" and when he starts to play he becames "Cash".
That is when you´re trying hard to control the tweak for appearances sake , obviously you can´t control a thing , you just come across as a tweaking mess ... trying to be serious when all you want is to perform, roll on the floor, run away and hide behind some bushes etc , etc ...
The interviewer felt it, when Johnny Cash pulled out his guitar to do the talking! In the end the guy had his hand on his head!! The Pheww feeling ! Johnny Cash is GOLD
Great to see Johnny Smile. ;-) Johnny Cash nails it where Country Music meets with Mariachi Horns. What a fantastic idea !! The early 60's Country Music scene was blown away by this song & approach. What an explosive time for the development of what we know today as Classic Country and it's amazing that Johnny was right there with his fantastic contributions to the Era !! This song still sounds great at my live gigs. (pre Covid) .. and it works well on the Cruise Ship gigs as well. People Love it !! My Students love to learn and play this song as well. If you need it transposed into a different key to make it easier to sing, i can help you with that as well. Gotta Love the Classics. ;-) Thanks for posting this video. ;-)
The power independently-gained visibility has given artists, of all kinds, is immeasurable... Watching, whoever the heck the host is cut Johnny Cash off, mid-sentence (as he is introducing supporting musicians, no less), is evil in spirit and literally shocking to witness.
The Man in Black nailed it, love burns hotter than gasoline set ablaze. It is a different kind of heat that will burn your heart in a way nothing else can. RIP to a legend.
The one I commented on. Johnny still influences me musically today. I am in the midst of recording a song that I wrote that is definitely in the spirit of Johnny. It should be out by the year's end. But check out my existing music on RUclips. Thanks!
Yeah he’s the real deal the one and only, a great singer and what a great song! Great how he pulls his guitar out of nowhere lol 😂 he’s just that awesome!!
Johnny Cash liked to play with a strap that was tied to the headstock (common practice in the 1950s) and a bit too long. This made it possible for him to throw it over his back (which he often did) and to move it around during performances. I think he realized at some point that he'd never be the kind of guitarist who knows thousands of chords and riffs and made his guitar playing fascinating in other ways.
RIP 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹❤️
Putting aside that he wasn't the original writer of the song, this was Johnny Cash before he was Johnny Cash ^^ He bcame rightfully so a musical legend :)
That's no proof, though we know Cash had issues. Most men were pretty lean in the 50s and 60s, especially down South. Look at Jimmy Dean -- he didn't have a notable substance abuse problem. My dad went into the army out of Kentucky, weighing about 135 pounds at 5'10. Not unusual.
Jimmy Dean looks so European or Swedish scandic. But that's not surprising because many Scandinavians emmigrated to the south USA a couple hundred years ago.
Love is a burnin' thing And it makes a fiery ring Bound by wild desire I fell into a ring of fire I fell into a burnin' ring of fire I went down, down, down And the flames went higher And it burns, burns, burns The ring of fire, the ring of fire I fell into a burnin' ring of fire I went down, down, down And the flames went higher And it burns, burns, burns The ring of fire, the ring of fire The taste of love is sweet When hearts like ours meet I fell for you like a child Oh, but the fire went wild I fell into a burnin' ring of fire I went down, down, down And the flames went higher And it burns, burns, burns The ring of fire, the ring of fire I fell into a burnin' ring of fire I went down, down, down And the flames went higher And it burns, burns, burns The ring of fire, the ring of fire And it burns, burns, burns The ring of fire, the ring of fire The ring of fire, the ring of fire

The way he just pulls out his guitar outta nowhere is just great
It was sitting behind him he was holding it, it’s pretty small lol

I love that he called Johnny at the beginning "Big John" even before Jimmy released "Big Bad John"
I love his little giggles and smiles, it’s so adorable.. also I love how he pulls out his guitar outta nowhere and just plays 😌
I’m 11 and I really like Johnny cash’s music. My mom plays his song all the time in my house!!! 😊😊😊😊😊

Johnny cash wasn't only a great singer and entertainer, he was also a perfect gentleman {usually) and a wonderful person with a heart of gold.
Bro he cheated on both of his wives lol he was no saint but no one is
If I had to choose between Elvis and Johnny, no competition, Johnny would win - both big talents but what distinguishes Johnny is a pained but deep soul with a big heart, and so much love to give.
He was the greatest. What’s your favorite Jonny song?
Cash easily. Elvis was not a songwriter
He's awkward until he gets to pull out his guitar and play his songs. Cash was the man
He was under alot of drug use during the 60s sadly :(
He was probably on speed, or something like that. But on his book he says that he was very shy, but he had 2 parsonalities. The shy one was "John" and when he starts to play he becames "Cash".
Crazy that June wrote this song and it ended up being one if not the most famous of his songs.
Johnny Cash's reaction at 0:33 :)

He laughs because he thinks of great balls on fire from jerry lee lewis
@@saraivatoledo1842 He was actually trying not to laugh because he said balls of fire, not like he's going crazy.
Stunning 141 seconds! The eyes can't unsee.
I saw him live in Toronto. This song got everybody going. Still love it
You just can’t take your eyes off a super star like Johnny Cash. Jimmy Dean and Johnny Cash, Great Memories! Great Clip!
The interviewer felt it, when Johnny Cash pulled out his guitar to do the talking! In the end the guy had his hand on his head!! The Pheww feeling ! Johnny Cash is GOLD
It´s amazing. I love it. And hey, it´s Johnny Cash´s Birthday today, and my Grandma´s too... (1932 and 1904)
Beautiful song, and they all did well in this song 🥰🥰😍

Beautiful piece of history right here.
Johnny Cash Forever. I've been listening to the Man in Black since I was a young boy. 56 years later I'm still listening, and will till the day I die.

How can you be so cool, smooth and a bad ass at same time. Legendary
This is his best song. Johnny was an original. Even people who weren't crazy about country saw something to like in him.
He didn't write this song it was actually June
Beautiful song, and they all did well in this song 🥰🥰😍

Johnny cash was so much bigger than country music or any genre. He transcended all of that
Yeah he’s the real deal the one and only, a great singer and what a great song! Great how he pulls his guitar out of nowhere lol 😂 he’s just that awesome!!
Never seen anyone play a guitar like that. Perspective is a hell of a thing. =)

The greatest musician in the country universe!!!
Just watched his last performance of this song. The contrast is incredible. Both versions are incredible.
Love how Johnny still acknowledges his other bandmates.

A true singer! RIP and thank you!

This is an absolute treasure.!!!

I wish this was still television.
One of my favorites
Johnny cash é maravilhoso ❤
INSANE. Just know kids, you will NEVER be as cool as Johnny Cash!
How great is it to have a performer sing a big hit LIVE, not lip-sync. That don't happen no more.
*doesn't happen*
Don't forget the double negative. 'Any more'. It's a country song. Don't you talk country?@@corneliadenninger5395
Loved this.
“Will you do just about that much for us?” I’d ask Johnny cash to do a 10 hour version
What a tune
Su guitarra parece formar parte de su cuerpo; la maneja con tal naturalidad...compuso y cantó cosas maravillosas...RIP Johnny Cash 🎼🎵🎶🎸🎤❤❤❤
I love this song from the best singer

It’s a shame that he got old man his music rocks but he’s not here anymore

Johnny Cash is deceased yet he lives through his music like the Ring of Fire or Folsom Prison Blues who his daughter sings his song eloquently.

Love is a burnin' thing
And it makes a fiery ring
Bound by wild desire
I fell into a ring of fire
I fell into a burnin' ring of fire
I went down, down, down
And the flames went higher
And it burns, burns, burns
The ring of fire, the ring of fire
I fell into a burnin' ring of fire
I went down, down, down
And the flames went higher
And it burns, burns, burns
The ring of fire, the ring of fire
The taste of love is sweet
When hearts like ours meet
I fell for you like a child
Oh, but the fire went wild
I fell into a burnin' ring of fire
I went down, down, down
And the flames went higher
And it burns, burns, burns
The ring of fire, the ring of fire
I fell into a burnin' ring of fire
I went down, down, down
And the flames went higher
And it burns, burns, burns
The ring of fire, the ring of fire
And it burns, burns, burns
The ring of fire, the ring of fire
The ring of fire, the ring of fire
