      This is the first I am hearing about 'making sea moss'; I don't know anything about it. So I guess my answer is, "No, I'm not doing Sea Moss." 😁

      I've recently started stocking it in the shop I co-manage (in the UK) as I was getting a lot of requests. Not tried it myself yet.

    TIP: To get the tomato paste out of the can, cut off both ends of the can. Breaks the “seal” and lets it slide out.

    Love the baking with Tim! We have just recently switched to sourdough bread and I would like to start doing my own. I am a 4th generation Oregonian so the Oregon trail starter was really interesting to hear! In fact I live about 15 minutes away from the historic “end of the Oregon Trail”!

    Quick Question - when you make sourdough bread, while true it has the healthy probiotics in it, but doesn't it get killed when you put it in that hot oven?

    Joey, I would love to know how you decided on 3 different meals for meal prep. And do you add a salad or side veggies with these? Are you having meals from these 3 dishes for your lunch and dinner throughout the week? I'm trying to understand how you work it.

    Trick to remove tomato paste from can is to open both the top and bottom of the can and press it out of the can with one of the lids.

    Hey Joey and Tim! Thanks so much for all the food and fun this week. I really enjoyed your video. I'd love to try your Sourdough Bread. It would have to be a high altitude version since I am in Colorado. I think it is adding 1-2T more of water per cup. If you have any tips, I would be grateful! 🙌🌟🍞

    I rinse and soak mine several times throughout the day and it will get almost as big around as your small finger and be almost clear when it’s ready. I only do small amounts at a time as I’ve read it should be consumed within a week, like most things, it starts loosing its nutrients potency.

    I made your pinto beans in the instant pot the other day and my family love them. I put less water than your recipe called for, but they came out a tad hard. I wonder if that’s why we’re maybe I’ll just increase the cook time next time.

      All dry beans work the same way in the Instant Pot. 1lb of dry beans to 6 cups of water. You have to use all 6 cups. You can drain it out afterwards if you want. But it will be too hard if you use less oil.

      It's the salt. Salt should be added after the beans are cooked or they will be hard. Good luck.

      ​@@ginas761 This is actually not true, though widely believed. It has been tested. Acidic ingredients do affect the cooking, though.

      I highly recommend soaking them overnight even though it's not required with the instant pot. They cook super fast and come out a bit nicer.

      Yes, but i never think about it when I am using it. I know it goes right into the handle. I will make more of an effort to take advantage of that.

    Can the bread be made gluten free with gf all purpose flour?

      We have never tried it but Tim says it should work because the yeast is in the air. If you attempt it, let us know what happens

    I think you accidentally doubled the salt in your beans today, you said recipe calls for 2 tsp of salt but I see 1 tsp of salt on your recipe...can you please tell me if it should be 2 tsp on the original recipe instead of 1 tsp? I am super eager to make these! I made Mexican spiced black beans before and used the water as a base for a vegetable soup, it was delicious!
