No, I’ve not heard of it. Where do you find it? How do you make it? More details please. Also, is the link to the remineralization stuff Tim mentioned? I don’t see it. ☹️
Love the baking with Tim! We have just recently switched to sourdough bread and I would like to start doing my own. I am a 4th generation Oregonian so the Oregon trail starter was really interesting to hear! In fact I live about 15 minutes away from the historic “end of the Oregon Trail”! Thanks for the great content. ❤ God bless
You and Tim are our superstars! I love watching y’all each week. Y’all are the male version of Lucy and Ethel. Being from a large Italian family, y’all remind me of us cooking on holidays. Have fun😂
I 100% want to hear more about the sea moss prep. My husband doesn’t like to cook and won’t eat plant based, so I have nobody to cook with. I’m jealous of y’all.
Quick Question - when you make sourdough bread, while true it has the healthy probiotics in it, but doesn't it get killed when you put it in that hot oven?
Yesterday I made your One Pot Pepper Rice Dish and it was delicious! I added a can of kidney beans and I'm thinking about adding some corn to the leftovers 😋
Joey, I would love to know how you decided on 3 different meals for meal prep. And do you add a salad or side veggies with these? Are you having meals from these 3 dishes for your lunch and dinner throughout the week? I'm trying to understand how you work it.
Hey Joey and Tim! Thanks so much for all the food and fun this week. I really enjoyed your video. I'd love to try your Sourdough Bread. It would have to be a high altitude version since I am in Colorado. I think it is adding 1-2T more of water per cup. If you have any tips, I would be grateful! 🙌🌟🍞
I rinse and soak mine several times throughout the day and it will get almost as big around as your small finger and be almost clear when it’s ready. I only do small amounts at a time as I’ve read it should be consumed within a week, like most things, it starts loosing its nutrients potency.
I really enjoyed this video, but can I just diverge from food and say I love you guys as a couple! Any chance you might do a video about how you met? I'd love to hear, I can just tell you're a great couple together
@PlantBasedDads Please do one day when your all comfortable. I always wanted to ask as well but never wanted to ask such a personal question. I have a 16 month old daughter and have been trying to live a more WFPB lifestyle and gave watched you for a long time:)
I made your pinto beans in the instant pot the other day and my family love them. I put less water than your recipe called for, but they came out a tad hard. I wonder if that’s why we’re maybe I’ll just increase the cook time next time.
All dry beans work the same way in the Instant Pot. 1lb of dry beans to 6 cups of water. You have to use all 6 cups. You can drain it out afterwards if you want. But it will be too hard if you use less oil.
I think you accidentally doubled the salt in your beans today, you said recipe calls for 2 tsp of salt but I see 1 tsp of salt on your recipe...can you please tell me if it should be 2 tsp on the original recipe instead of 1 tsp? I am super eager to make these! I made Mexican spiced black beans before and used the water as a base for a vegetable soup, it was delicious!
We love you all! Please like and subscribe to help us get our videos out to more people. Are you doing Sea Moss? No, seriously.
This is the first I am hearing about 'making sea moss'; I don't know anything about it. So I guess my answer is, "No, I'm not doing Sea Moss." 😁

I've recently started stocking it in the shop I co-manage (in the UK) as I was getting a lot of requests. Not tried it myself yet.
TIP: To get the tomato paste out of the can, cut off both ends of the can. Breaks the “seal” and lets it slide out.
That is a pro tip!! Nice
Former Minnesotan here - it's a HOT DISH! lol

I am now thinking about when Lucy and Ethyl sang that Friendship song.
@@PlantBasedDads 😂
Part of the reason I enjoy watching your videos is that I LOVE your kitchen, I'm jelly.
Hey there Joey - yep! It’s Casserole!!!!! Whoo-Hoo!!!!
“It’s not a hot dish, it’s a casserole!” 😂 That needs to be on some merch. 😂
I'm living for Take Over Tim! 💪
I love that idea. It could happen.

I made the potato/squash bake! Delicious! Thank you!
I agree that homemade bread is so satisfying, I've got to try your sourdough. thanks for all the great recipes and ideas
Thanks so much. Going back to work has really caused a kink in our freedom that summer gave us. HA!.
Sea moss. Never heard of it. How is it? It looks, umm, interesting.
I’m down for Remineralization With Tim 🙌🏼
Hello and thanks from Vancouver, BC.
I just loved this video. I had to laugh out loud with the interactions between the two of you.

I take a sea moss capsule, from Thrive Market and I also use Sunwarrior Liquid Light, a Fulvic acid mineral complex
I wish you were my next-door neighbors LOL!!!!
You would not want to live next to me. I would be over your place every day talking about food and students.
Joey, I would love to know how you decided on 3 different meals for meal prep. And do you add a salad or side veggies with these? Are you having meals from these 3 dishes for your lunch and dinner throughout the week? I'm trying to understand how you work it.
Me too!
Great video guys! We enjoy all your videos, however we really enjoy your meal prep ones! Please keep them coming!😊
You guys are a hoot! So fun to watch you cooking together. Recipes look yummy, I’m going to make the one pot pasta tomorrow. Take care. 🤗
I would love to hear more about the Irish moss and minerals.
The potato and squash casserole looks so good!
Its a great meal prep dish
Yum! So many delicious looking recipes!
Love these weekly meal prep videos. So helpful in my new plant based walk.
It's a casserole! lol and btw it looked delicious! So did the pasta, YUM! Thanks for the video, Joey & Tim! 💕
Don't forget to start soaking your sea moss. ;)
Loved this video. You guys are so cute. Thanks for showing all these delicious recipes.
Great video - thanks!!
Trick to remove tomato paste from can is to open both the top and bottom of the can and press it out of the can with one of the lids.
The Italian says that’s a lot of Italian seasoning. LOL 😂
Lol, it really was!

I just bought my 2nd jar of pre-made sea moss. Got a flavored one this time. Hoping it works and can notice some type of improvement. 😊
No to the sea moss🙃 Ben and I switch between your ranch and Cuban beans recipes each week, they are a staple for our meals. Nice moon walk, Tim🤣

I would love to tell our story and how Lexx joined us at some point. Its just a lot of personal info though so not sure we are ready for that.

It's the salt. Salt should be added after the beans are cooked or they will be hard. Good luck.
@@ginas761 This is actually not true, though widely believed. It has been tested. Acidic ingredients do affect the cooking, though.
I highly recommend soaking them overnight even though it's not required with the instant pot. They cook super fast and come out a bit nicer.
Are you aware the instant pot has a lid holder, so you don’t have to lay it on the counter?
Yes, but i never think about it when I am using it. I know it goes right into the handle. I will make more of an effort to take advantage of that.
What kind of Nutritional yeast do you use?
Whatever is in the bulk bin at Sprouts.
Hot dish all the way!
Ha! You are biased. You even say "pop". :)
@@PlantBasedDads orange pop is the best when in Minnesota.
Can the bread be made gluten free with gf all purpose flour?
We have never tried it but Tim says it should work because the yeast is in the air. If you attempt it, let us know what happens
Tim just said that it will work. He said to use this link: www.bobsredmill.com/recipes/how-to-make/gluten-free-sourdough-starter/
@@PlantBasedDads Thank you!
@@PlantBasedDads I’ll let you know when I try it!
What size is your Instant Pot? 6 or 8 quart?
It is a 6 qt

It should be 1 tsp of salt. Sorry.
I’ve tried making sea moss several times. Yuck! 😂
Mix it into something. I don’t eat it by itself.
You just need to add it to a smoothie or shake or something else
