This is a great Tutorial. So glad I bought this controller.
Loving it! Still discovering new tips and tricks.
Great tutorial making the jump from 1000 mk 3 to the nexus 2 shortly and getting my head around rekordbox is essential.
great tutorial. short and perfect explaining..!! very helpfull
Thank you!! Very helpful!
How do you save once you've analysed it
Excellent Video! Check your grids kids! Especially for the more groovy house stuff.
Superb video! very very helpful, thanks a ton :)
Question. I know on some CDJ's you can tap in your own BPM live. Can the CDJ Nexus line do that too or will it always read the BPM from rekordbox or whatever it determines live (like on CD's). Quick example. Popped in a CD, playing a house track that I know is 126 BPM but it keeps saying it's 124. How can I tap it in to read closer to 126? Thanks!
so once your tracks on are your usb, you plug them into your decks, then while on your decks you add some hot cues, you then go back on reckord box later with your usb plugged into your laptop, but those hot cues u saved on your decks dont show up on your tracks, why???
Latest version update? No matter how much I shrink or expand the beat grid it seems I can never get it to STAY for the entire track
Very helpful. Thank u

I've been trying to look for some keyboard shortcuts to work the grid. Like Serato does.. do you know anything about this?
it's all there dude
Can you combine Rekordbox With traktor Z2 and youse cdj 350??
Hi, I have a problem with the grid. some songs has not 4, 8, or 16 bars intro some has 9 so when i want to set the 1.1.1 after 1 bar in order to get 8 bars (in this example i have 9 bars) i set the red grid 1.1.1 in the second bar but it doesnt recognize it as a 1.1.1 but as 2.1.1.
I've got the same problem, did you resolve it yet? How can I set 1.1.1 in the second bar?
is it possible to change the beat bpm (for example: music is 128BPM after 1min. I need this beat faster like 130 BPM and after the next 1 min. I need 128 again) and to save it? or is it just manuel possible? The question is for rekordbox.
you either need to do it manually when you're playing or you could adjust the track in ableton or probably other daws.
Someone didn't watch the video. It counts the BPM based on bars & beats it's counting. Go take a beat grid and simply double it. Look at the amount of transients that appear. When you're happy with what it looks like, click the lock button. It saves the BPM changes for load on CDJs.
how accurate is key detection compared to mixed in key
I would also like to know this

shid on the grid bang the cue and chill the bead
than if you're so great at analyzing the music atleast take the time to have the same volume for your music and voice! THANKS A LOT. Tutorial was useful though
record box beat grid is so shit compared to traktor, why can't you zoom in more
How do you correct a completely incorrect BPM? E. G freaky Friday by Chris brown, RB thinks it's 133 but Traktor sees it as 100?
I'm trying use an acapella that should ne the same tempo as the actual song but it won't recognize it.
