Because this isn't actually a "review"? It's a glorified unboxing and overview. The MAJOR failings of these devices is inconsistent detection of what you WANT recorded, and too much detection of things like trees and shrubs blowing in the wind.
The names Reolink have used are really confusing. The camera you have is not the Reolink Argus PT 2K but the Reolink Argus PT (5/2.4GHz). Look on the bottom of your camera. You should mention that you have the new Reolink which is called Argus PT (5/2.4GHz) [this one has 2.4G/5G wifi and is 2k] the older model is called the Argus PT 2K that only has 2.4G wifi. The original Argus PT is now discontinued and it was 1080p.
Nice video but I noticed that in your video the camera never did pan left the right by itself does it pan and if it does, how do you get it to pan left and right and record motion detection by itself automatically
Installed it myself without any issues. The wifi signal is great even ruclips.net/user/postUgkxE_D_sddGAdiVUKp7PkkmyxO7bRtgqmk5 when the router is located far away. I really enjoy the night vision feature that allows me to see clearly any activity near our house (mostly cars and wild animals). The motion detection is helpful to me as well to monitor what happens on our front.
NOPE!! You would need a WIRED system for that function. The pan and scan need to be done REMOTELY from your phone or tablet! It kind of defeats the purpose of this product.

I've had 3 of these cameras for less then a month now and 1 of the 3 completely quit working properly. The other 2 are intermittently not connecting and 1 does not acknowledge setting changes over and over, motion sensors seem intermittently effective. And reolink has no phone number to contact. Tryed to warranty the one camera and all I get is automated email responses saying to try this try that bla bla bla. All my sim cards have unlimited data and have strong signal being used in a major American city, sorry reolink its not the sim card cell services fault, verified this buy popping sim card into cell phone and all sims work excellent
Surprised this video doesn't have more views. Very helpful video. Thanks.
Thank you :)
Why should this video have more views?!?! It's not even a "review". It's nothing more than an ADVERT! I've seen ACTUAL reviews way better than this!

I thought this camera could auto pan and tilt when motion is detected following person or object?
NOPE! Not this one. Reolink wifi TrackMix has that function, but it needs to be WIRED!

You should also have shown how someone talking to the camera sounds via the app.
Great video. I just wish you'd have shown the zoom also :D

How does this compare to the Noorio cameras?

Complete, Succinct, perfect review. Thanks
Solid review
Thank you Gideon!
This was very helpful.
Does this camera need wifi or can i just connect it with a sim card and on to my phone i do t have wifi
Can this be set to auto pan?
NOPE!! You would need a WIRED system for that function. The pan and scan need to be done REMOTELY from your phone or tablet! It kind of defeats the purpose of this product.
Can’t get it to power on??
Confusing. You say "PT 2K" but the box says "PT". Which model are you reviewing?
It doesn't matter, actually. They're both the same, other than the PT 2K being able to record in 2k quality. Aside from that, not much difference.
Does this camera pan to keep person detected in view automaticaly
