Using a new Beak skid steer attachment to break up a concrete patio and move the pieces. Then dig out a tree stump. Attachment available here: www.danielmfg....
For that concrete patio, wow, talk about the right tool for the job!! Love that someone had the sense to put an eyeball on that grapple, just a small thing, but I bet it makes lots of smiles. Cheers from Tokyo! Stu
Who else thought Andrew was going to crush that pallet instantly? I like how he delicately set it on the other pallets, then took a nibble out of it for good measure.
I’m a 74 year old great-Grammy and I’ve been watching Andrews’ videos back-to-back for 4 days (just found his site) ....BEST VIDEOS EVER!!!! I want a skid steer in the worst way! Andrew, you are a pure genius at what you do...Thank you for all the great videos and especially sharing Levi, Lacey, Sadie, and Cody with all of us.
So great to watch these videos over again . I saw them when you first posted them , but worth watching again. Your a master in what you do Andrew. Hope to see more then you posted this past year.
yeah. whoever worked on pouring those slabs must have forgotten what the hook on a rake/puller is good for... *pulling* the mesh back off the ground and into the concrete after you've walked all over it
NO kidding eh? That's why I refuse to do it that way, I always insist on the concrete blocks that hold the wire or rebar up, they cost next to nothing and might take you an extra hour to tie them in. Cheers from Tokyo!!
Well AC, I've been watching you for several years. You don't surprise me much, but you ALWAYS impress me! That concrete work was artistic! And that tree-takedown... I almost expected more trees to just give up and fall over without a fight! You have mastered that machine and that attachment. If Daniel Mfg sold you that part, they should refund your money because they just got the GREATEST advertising I've ever seen. You played that like a maestro. And I didn't yell at my screen one single time 'cause I thought you missed something. Wow, that was pretty! And pretty amazing! Sorry for all the exclamation points; even though I don't work in excavation and earthwork, that was just plain fun to watch. Thank you AC!
Andrew how about a post where you take us through the entire tool and attachment arsenal including prices and how you paid for them (money from a big job, RUclips money, sponsors, etc?)
I used to cut the tree then dig out the stump till Andrew showed me the difference in pushing the tree over then cutting the stump. I’ve learned allot from the man.
If this was a job I got, there would end up being #5 rebar on 6” centers and 24” thick 4 foot deep footers hidden behind the block wall. It’s always nice when it comes out this easy.
What an incredible piece of gear. That patio job nearly made me cry.. I still have the scars and the bad memories of me - 3 days with a sledgehammer and a wheelbarrow with a situation exactly like this 20 years ago. Ugh.. Could only dream of having that gear !.
Andrew, that's one cool attachment!! So verse in so many different task. Love Cody helping to pick up roots and sticks. Thanks again for sharing another great video!! Stay safe my friend.
Reminds me of a conversation I had with a pavements shop foreman. He told me of a slab they made for a customer. He said he watched his men pull the reinforcing wire up to the center of the concrete as they placed it in the forms. later, it was determined that the slab was in the wrong place. As they removed the slab he noticed the wire was on the bottom. You can buy wire stands to place under the wire that holds it in place, we always used them after that.
I couldn't tell you why I find Andrew's videos so fascinating but I finally figured out why I watched this video that is almost 30 minutes long. Primarily because I couldn't find a new one that was an hour long!
ANDREW, You never disappoint in all the attachments you get for different jobs. So cool having them, for different jobs, and sure they will pay pay off for themselves over time. Thank you for sharing. Loved seeing Levi and then Cody trying to help you:-).
I always thought skid-steers were pretty limited in use. I just never saw them used much. I must admit though, I am envious of some of the attachments you have shown. This, and the concrete mixer especially.
Just curious, how did you build yourself up and get such a big company? It seems like your able to afford lots and I find it amazing how your such a hard worker and don’t seem to ever quit, keep it up man👍🏽
That is so satisfying just to watch, I can only imagine actually doing it would feel like and what would have taken a whole day to do decades ago done within hours. No jack hammers just pick apart haul away.
Several years ago I had to demo 1000 sq ft inside a commercial building , part of remodel for a tire shop. I had 2 sizes of excavator, 2 hydraulic rock hammer sizes. However...I told general Contractor to hire Concrete cutting company, cut up slab in 2 ft squares do to wire mesh etc. I was able to use mini-excavator, 18 inch bucket, load out my dump truck fairly easy. One of the issues with rock hammer was the noise and splattering of concrete etc.
Adam obviously nothing since he came back for a second. Would hate to be a car next to him in traffic if one of those slabs broke the straps and slid off. Absolutely crazy....
@@Akcd11r2002 I wouldn't be worried about them spontaneously breaking or flying out of the truck with a gust of wind - the thing you've got to worry about when checking a load is what happens in an accident. If you lock up the brakes or hit a brick wall, is the load coming through the back window of the cab? If you have to swerve to avoid a pedestrian jumping in the road, will the load keep going straight? If you get rear ended or T-boned, will it end up in the other vehicle? “Cody... can you please mark what concrete slab needs to be removed”?.... Thanks..
Funny!!!
Cody is an excellent supervisor. 😂
Firefighters: The jaws of life
Camarata: The jaws of destruction
“Done by hand” ? I didn’t know that was in AC’s vocabulary. Is this the same AC that used a chainsaw to cut 3/8” off of a plastic dash board?
Still one of my favorites.

That reinforcing mesh sure was doing a lot sitting under the concrete
Yea bad workmanship...at least it fixed now
It looked more like coat hanger wire, so not sure it would have made any difference even in the concrete.
