Mike, not only did you give them a gorgeous lake (I agree with Matt that the view from the house will be one of the best lake views in Perry County), but you also gave them useable land. That is amazing. The 3 of you should be very proud of yourselves for a masterful work. Thanks for sharing the end and the journey with us all. I hope Aaron is really okay.
Your projects look great when finished but it would be nice to see them 6 months, a year later with water and grass. after all a dam is only a dam when it has water in it. cheers
This is one of those times where epic can be used ! Fantastic job Mike Jerry and MBTS ! Enjoyed watching the progress on this one and it was worth it ! 👍👍👍
Great job. Dam looks awesome. I love when you use 1812 for time lapse. It fits your work perfectly. Keystone Cops would be fun too lol. Thanks for the great content.
Hi Mike, what a work of art it turn out to be, the three of you must be extremely proud of what you have achieved and I know most of your followers will be great job 👍
I would just call this a work of art in the dirt. Stellar. From an old tractor guy you should be proud. Please go back next summer when its all greened up and lake is full and give us the pleasure of a fly over. 💪
That's a beautiful piece of work! It makes the dirt mover in me smile when that truck backs up the back of the dam and leaves tracks, but no ruts. Those distractions will get you. I noticed the hood when you walked back to put the fuel cap on. Year or so ago, I was stuck in traffic on the interstate. A dump similar to yours with a small dozer on a trailer pulled up on an open field on the opposite side. Hot diggity some entertainment! The guy got out of the truck, and you could tell he was having a heated conversation on the phone. The conversation ended, and he undid the dozer. Another call, more stomping around, and you could just barely hear the hollering. He finished the call and climbed up the trailer into the dozer, and fired it up. He had the type of trailer that has the ramps that fold flat against the bed. He started to back up. Your ramps! Your ramps! He didn't hear me of course and the people in the cars thought I was crazy. Off the back of the trailer he went! It must have been a terrible few seconds realizing what a dumb mistake you just made. Wham! You could feel it and hear it. I already had my phone in hand and calling 911. I told them the location of the field and what had happened. The dozer landed square on its rump, blade checking out the sky. The seconds dragged on and the operator scrambled out of the cab. He was walking about as the rescue truck arrived, so I would suppose there weren't any serious injuries. The fall doesn't hurt but that last stop does. Lets be careful out there. Distractions at any time can kill. Cheers Terry
That looks absolutely brilliant, I can even visualise it covered in hay! For the work you have done on that property, that is such a different view. A 10* job if ever I saw one. Thanks for the final fly over.It really shows how much work you really did. Amazing transformation, hope Matt is happy too!
You aren’t kidding about that dirt being dry. It was so dry, I had to take several gulps of my energy drink to wash the dirt down. All seriousness, that turned out fantastic. Great job Mike, Aaron, and of course Jerry.
Absolutely Awesome! Looks like you iced a cake! It's been a very fun build for us to watch! Thanks to Hyundai and CASE for the two dozers and the haul truck to add to the joy. I can hear Aaron crying now over the truck! It's a very nice piece of equipment! On the stumps getting stuck under the tailgate, let me tell you about my adventure. I bought a 1-ton 1977 Chevy with a tall side dump bed, because I was putting a new roof on the house. We shoveled all the old shingles from the roof to the truck. It was really nice. I could drive the truck all the way around the house and the loading process was very simple. So, now I'm heading off to the local landfill to dump my very first dump truck load! I figured those shingles would slide right under the tailgate. You know what happened! The bed is powered up, but gravity down. Those shingles wedged between the bed and the tailgate, and the bed wouldn't come down. So, I'm back there digging out singles for all I was worth and I know the guys at the landfill are laughing their a$$'s off as they watched! I was so embarrassed I wanted to hide! Never made that mistake again! Great video and video series! Thanks; Mike, Aaron, Jerry, Hyundai, CASE and the Expo folks. (At first glance, I thought the first gal was "Farmer Grace" coming to help!) Lee
Just a lovely transformation !! your excellent vision / concept from start to finish !! I will say one thing that helped considerably is the fact you seemed to have the resources (clay etc.) to master mind your vision to fruition on this jobsite!!! For one to bring it up to it's present state & looks is a landscaping mastermind !! "JOB WELL DONE" Mike/Mbts/Jerry you all deserve medals !!! Thks also sent to Hyundai /Case/ Deere & other equipment for displaying what their products are capable of in the hands of pro's with expertise & visions !!
I also have noticed that the dam structure completely blocks the view of the house from the road. This from my point of view means additional privacy and peace of mind from unwanted intrusions from strangers (out of sight, out of mind sort of thing).
Interesting how you, Aaron and Jerry have taken a contoured site, re-contoured the site and the whole thing turn out so awesome with more area for growing hay and a beautiful view from the house of lake and grounds. This has been fascinating to watch from start to finish. I'd like to see it full of water someday.
Absolutely enjoyed this pond/lake transformation. As far as what truck works best for you, you know better than we do what works best. Thanks for sharing the projects you do with us.
Now ppl can see why ur RUclips name is what it is because you really know exactly what ur doing with dirt keep on with all that being said keeping on hope you guys had a great Christmas and a happy new year god bless
Nice job guys. Not sure if you have done a video like this but it would be cool to see you go back to your pond builds over the last few years and give a update on how they look with water and everything grown back.
Awesome lake! As usual the Dirt Perfect crew pulled it off. Loved watching the journey from basically nothing to a spectacular place, can’t wait for the next job! Loved watching when Jerry comes and shows his skills and would be interesting just how deep the lake will be when full ❤❤👍👍👍👍
Dang mike... Having background from a gravel pit where we moved and processed 4 to 5k tons a day with our 4 man operation 12 hr days... I gotta say that is a damn dam lotta dirt for your size operation.. Super impressive. Plus all the packing and fine tuning. Great job
And Mike complains about being "bored" after filling 700 dump truck loads! I wonder how many dump truck loads you polished off in your lifetime working at a gravel making mine?
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, ideas and videos. Dam looks great, this certainly was a great series of videos. Looking forward to seeing what you have for us next. Wishing you and your family the best.
When you were loading that new truck with the stumps I thought, are those even going to come out. You have said many many times you don't need a tailgate because of this reason. Maybe this will hush some of the ones that keep bugging you on getting a tailgate. Bubba Dump to the rescue!!😁 The finished project is masterful! That view!👀 Wowzer! One of your best!
It is was Christmas, time to give the loyal and trust worthy Buba Dump a Christmas present in the form of a paint job. :) What a awesome day. Very cool draw shot of an awesome completed, finally, of the project. Congratulations to the whole team. Thank you and have a wonderful day.
Three Man and a small Lake building, with a mega Dam. Much Work, alone the Earth Transfer and the Dozer Work. To last a complete new Formation from the landscape. It's Perfect.! A Video in 8 Month, very Interesting. 💪👍
Watching from Canada 🇨🇦. Another professional job completed. It is always a pleasure to watch the team work of professionals while having fun. The job looks amazing, as is expected. Time lapse is your friend, 😂, the efficiency rate improves dramatically….. so much work in a short time…. 😆 absolutely beautiful, a job well done, be proud of your work! Merry Christmas 🎄
Howdy Mr. Dirt, Absolutely phenomenal! I bet Santa with all his elves could not have done a better job! You should be very proud of your work! Thumbs up! Stay safe. Jim
Absolutely gorgeous ! Great work guys. You should get Aaron a Tonka model of the truck to keep him happy.
Simultaneous dozing, should be an Olympic sport. Great video Mr Dirt perfect, Jerry and Aaron.
Very nice! Hope you take us back when it fills up.
I have said this on other lake/pond projects
That has to be a must I hope so.....
New Bubba Dump???? Nothing replaces the legend that is Bubba Dump
Mike, not only did you give them a gorgeous lake (I agree with Matt that the view from the house will be one of the best lake views in Perry County), but you also gave them useable land. Absolutely the most awesome job I've seen you guys do. My hats off to you, MBTS and Jerry and thanks to Case and Hyundai.
Gotta' love the time lapse with the "William Tell Overture". Thanks.
Haha I like the William Tell Overtures lol they both seem like they could be sacketts 😂
It sure turned out nice guys we'll all need to see it again when full and the grass covers everything.
Your projects look great when finished but it would be nice to see them 6 months, a year later with water and grass. after all a dam is only a dam when it has water in it. cheers
At least bubba sounds like a truck , proper job ! Cheers
32:55 - Removing a stump that size really highlights how important heavy machinery is for land clearing. Great work! 💪

Great job. Dam looks awesome. I love when you use 1812 for time lapse. It fits your work perfectly. Keystone Cops would be fun too lol. Thanks for the great content.

Amazing transformation to a enjoyable pond/lake. Gives homeowner a completely different view from house.
I also have noticed that the dam structure completely blocks the view of the house from the road. This from my point of view means additional privacy and peace of mind from unwanted intrusions from strangers (out of sight, out of mind sort of thing).
