That's normal because then we take holidays. OH and this year is a leap year.

Dragonflight took 20 weeks from official alpha testing start to release(22w28-48). If same for War Within, release date will be early September(24w16-36).

Funny tho, on my preorder for the hard copy CE, it says „not before December“.

that sounds like a pretty fun prepatch event.
Not going to lie, that TWW pre-patch with "memories" is really something that feels like they'll just do something similar to this for the 20th anniversary events.

The "congealed memories" were spawning in the Emerald Dream yesterday after the servers came back up. That zone was so buggy it kept resetting every couple of minutes causing people to lose seeds they'd planted, progress on bosses, and the Superbloom event. Maybe that whole thing was a bug?

Recycling quest events from the past because of PTSD of the planet is quite a creative way of reliving that lost lore.
I do think the new expansion will be released between July and August.

I'm a little out of the loop but you mention the fishing + darkmoon rings multiple times as if they are the only other sources, so what happened to the wod garrison shipyard rings? Did blizzard remove them or did you just forget?

Wont this event be happening at the same time Panda-express-leveling is happening, or at the very right after? So most people will have already leveled a bunch of alts. So its gonna be another farming event for gear upgrades and not XP.

i really hope they delay the release until October or even November - there's too much to do in summer besides games and they are likely to get less subscribers. Late fall is better when you want to waste many hours playing Wow. Dragonfligth release timing was perfect

I remember back in the day when servers were communities people like that got ousted pretty quick for skeevy-ass behavior like that. See: dragonflight ending cinematic, war within cinematic. It is all about "ooo last boss dead, everything is lovey dovey now" to "im so angry and scared and frustrated" (in full HD) to "ooh night elves kissing and hugging, such great story wow so romace" and now, the PLANET has feelings and ptsd, like anduin.

Ignoring that the prepatch is right up against the start of summer which is actually June 21st. Prepatch in early July, launch of expansion right at the end of pandaria remix or a week after.
I'm not paying a subscription until september, there is no value in what I am seeing. All they do is regurgitate, a new ilvl umber on a tooltip is not new content. Renaming crests again for what? the 4th time is not new content. All the same systems and gearing with different names or numbers. I have already done this over and over again to the point where I was sick of this stuff months ago, unsubbed months ago and all these announcements are about is stating that they are releasing yet another season with all the same stuff in play. This company does next to nothing for the sub in this day and age.
