I don't care that this video is text to sppech, this is truly an EXCELLENT tutorial. Im a noob, i get so lost in the different menus, trying to figure out how to navigate everything, and this video really helped me understand how to navigate geometry nodes, and some of the different menus in general. ty!!!
The way how to draw was changed for ever!! I'm impressed! No wonder i fell in love for blender when i was used to draw by sketchup, lumion, autocad... My god!!
I dont even use blender but I watch stuff like this just to see how hard is to make some 3D stuff..its insanse how easy is to make a virtual buildings and cities right now :O
Very good tutorial. One question: is it possible to change/randomize the wall/window order starting from the middle floors? Each floor is arranged in the same way, i.e. all windows are on top of each other, all double windows and all wall elements. Can that also be changed?
this seems to be a very interesting tool, and as i have seen a couple of videos about it i now have a question about it (i admit i didn't check the documentation or just download it an try for my self... and anyways i am more or less completely unexperienced with blender yet..) : it appears that the walls will always be strictly vertical. but is it possible to create inclined or rounded walls? quite a lot of real world buildings have such a special and fancy architecture and it would be nice to recreate them .. :)
Unfortunately Buildify 1.0 doesnt support any kind of roof type. Just flat roof for now. But I think they improve this and it will support other roof forms also.
I have a question. I would be happy if you could answer it. I wanted to render a city, but for some reason the photo is all black and only the silhouettes of the buildings are visible. Why is this and how can I fix it?
@@jossonu you have to add a Realize Instances node at the very end of the geometry nodes setup and apply the modifier, then it will convert from instances to mesh and is ready to be exported.
