@@jackrussel853 I thought it was basically the same stuff. The graphic on the can is identical. I see there is a Pro-Line version and it does say you can use it every oil change. Seems contradictory, and I worry that it might overswell the seals if used repeatedly. The Oil Saver has been beneficial for greatly reducing leaks in my Subura engine.
@@mikequinlan3308 Yes there are three of them which all look similar, the motor oil saver which i've just added as i think my valve stem seals are leaking but then realised by the time i've spent £130 on fuel to see if it works i'd just as well put that towards the repairs, then there's the stop smoke for high mileage cars which i gather basically does the same thing but think it concentrates more on cleaning the rings etc and then there's the stop leak which is just meant to stop bad leaks, a little confusing hence why i also bought the stop smoke 😂

If it's a small leak then blue devil should.
It turns into glass in the leak after the liquid evaporates.
It's brittle and shatters if scraped off but if left alone it is also as hard as metal sealing the crack

I wouldn't put LUCAS IN ANYTHING I OWN just thickens the oil like STP.
I have Variable Valve timing and lucas made the MPG go way down. It clogs up VVT and so should not be used for VVT engines.

yup cheap and does the job and they have a whole assortment of things. i usually go with the Oil stop #3 in this video and Ceratec on every oil change just to be safe

@@ShyRage1 no it's not on amazon. This completely worked for me - no more front differential inner seal leak and no more crankcase oil leak!! Those repairs cost THOUSANDS in labor! I'm thrilled. I just got a reman transmission and I ordered the Titan Seal transmission products also - but my previous transmission was totally fried. So I never used the transmission stop leak and gear saver. I was told there's no shelf life for these products. So I'll just a transmission flush every 10,000 miles and stay under 5000 rpm - and in a worse case scenario I'll add in the Titan transmission products. There's only a 1 year warranty on the transmission so... thanks

Stop leak does not work good (or even not at all) with hyper modern rubber seals, the brown and blue ones are Viton or Neoprene seals...they are resistent. Stop seal works best with BUNA (synthetical black rubber seals = NBR) On vintage cars with NBR rubber gaskets most stop leak additives work pretty well.
