Brian Charles Ebejer (born March 21, 1974), known professionally as Edsel Dope, is an American rock singer, songwriter and musician. He is best known as the lead singer and main songwriter for nu metal/industrial metal band Dope. Dope was founded in 1997 by Edsel and his brother, Simon Dope (keyboards), in New York City. Edsel co-produced all of Dope's albums. On Felons and Revolutionaries, Dope's first album (released in 1999), Edsel played and programmed most of the musical instruments. In 2019 he became the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist for Static-X under the moniker Xer0. He performs wearing a mask resembling former vocalist Wayne Static.

Much props and mad respect but I wonder how much that can take out of a person singing that long a night for 2 sets for the whole tour. Hope he eats his Corn Flakes and Wheaties everyday. Wish all of them the best and hope they stay healthy.
I agree!
Bro this band is so awesome
We miss you WAYNE ✖🔥🤘🖤
My heart...oh man. I almost cried listening to this.
Well done 👏 👏
Wayne would be proud...
These guys are a class act... in preserving the true raw sound that's known as Wayne Static.
My 15yr old will see them with FF, as this will be his very first concert ever.
Absolutely loves this band....
It's gonna be a great night....
My first ever concert was headlined by Fear Factory (the very same March 1999 show that's in worcester MA on youtube). Static X was an opening act, I was 16. You're completing the loop brother
1999, 9th grade math my friend told me about them and said about g2 their show in State College, PA.. I never listened to X, he said it was heavy so I was in.. we then asked our beautifully hot math teacher to go with us; she was into them and woulda gone, but ya know, laws n shit..
Me n him left school at lunch and burn cruised and jammed Wisconsin Death Trip Album at least 6 times.. I was hooked and ecstatic for the X show- holy fuck.. 25 years later and it’s like it was recently, fuckin fav band besides mushroom head, idk why I never went and saw em live again.. Fuckin eyes leaked when me and x wife learnt Wayne had passed..
Thank you Ken, Koichi, Tony, 0/Edsel for these regeneration albums, like fuck- y’all are like superheroes imo.. EVIL DISCO NEVER DIES X
This whole album so far sounds like if the Machine & Shadow Zone albums fused into one... it's sooo good... it hurts us all that this is the end of an era.
Well hopefully there's a part 2
@@Tysandifer there is one, the band confirmed its coming soon.
This goes hard AF! 🫡 Wayne is throwing horns in heaven 🤘🏼
Best revival of a band and honour of a passed member . RIP Wayne, he’d be so proud of this
Thks...love this song, welcome to the world ...Again!!!!
I have never liked edm type music.
when I was a kid Static-X came to my attention and convinced me to give the genre a chance. Static-X with xero has unlocked the same effect as when I was a kid.
Can't wait to see them live
Gotta say I could definitely imagine Poppy collabing with Static X. I think she'd slay on a song in this vein.
I can, and have listened to this song like 100+ times. LET'S GO!!
Love/ miss u Wayne. Static forever!
Дело Уэйна живо! Спасибо.
There is Only one and only one is Static X: The Destroyer. Trully unique band. I am so glad i hear these guys.
So fucking pumped for this 🤘"I am the senseless, the vicious, the wicked!!"🤘
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏👽
Did not disappoint! Wayne Static FOREVER!!🤘🤘
The album came out like last year
@@dannyclarke13 I know, I own it. My excitement is entirely for the Music Video and how Wayne is being Remembered/Honored.
I believe that was Xer0 belting that part out, Wayne's part was the chorus. The entire album is a masterpiece.
I love you. All static X family.
I missed out on seeing Wayne,
Back in 2010.
I regret that. Always.
But thank you Xero
I love all of you
Run
Run
Run
Hardest song on the whole fucking album. Great choice for a single!
I’d say Otsego Placebo is the hardest song on the album. But this is a good second place.
@@joshuapyle6371 my thoughts exactly
@@joshuapyle6371 otsego placebo 100% but this comes close no doubt
It's almost like Wayne never left. And that's awesome!
I really love this direction. It respects Wayne's legacy and respects Static X vibe as a whole as well. Well done.
Wayne's illusion is amazing..
I saw Static-X once in concert and it set the bar for all other concerts I've ever been to. So, tonight in my drunken state, I will seek out all Static-X videos and post this comment. Wayne Static, you brought joy to my life. I'm sorry you went the way you did. I'm here and I still love you. Jazz
Wayne would be proud. Keep carrying the torch fellas; I for one will always support you all. With that said, this song fucking slays.
Easily one of the best static-x songs ever written. Gets the adrenaline pumping beyond all imaginable realms.
Doesn't even come close to the old stuff
@@jcthe1-3 i agree
Hell yes, Joseph! Freaking badass and crazy music video. 🤘
This is a rip-off of dirt house
This shit fucking sucks, and they’re profiting off a dead mans work. The same dead man that they refused to allow use his own band name when the feud was going on.
“Yeah. Ya know, we’re starting slow, and I don’t have the Static-X name anymore. I made a deal with Tonys the only legal Static-X member besides me.
I paid him a bunch of money last year to use the name, and he’s just a greedy motherfucker, man. He just hates me to death. He’s trying to gouge the shit out of me. I made him an offer to give him 25 percent of my net profits and he refused it.
He wants this outrageous number. [Laughs] He wants more money than I make in a year, and he’s just doing it on purpose because he hates me for whatever reason.
But he doesn’t want to play in Static-X, though. I gave him the opportunity, like, “Do you want to tour with us?” He’s like, “No.” Okay, well, “Will you let me use the name?” “No.” [Laughs]
He’s basically just telling me, like, “Fuck you.” Ya know? [Laughs] I’m like well, at least my name is Wayne Static and people know who I am. I’m not just some jack-off bass player that used to play in a band called Static-X. I’m like, “Fuck you,” ya know?
I’m still playing in a band called Wayne Static. It’s a little bit smaller because not everyone knows the name Wayne Static, and everyone knows the name Static-X, but we’re gonna build it up.
I basically made the choice that Static-X is done, unless Tony changes his mind at some point, which I doubt he will. We’re just going to build on Static-X. The funny thing is that it’s still the same guys that played with Static-X last year, the same songs basically…we just can’t call it Static-X.”
wtf, edsel dope directing? SICK!!
Such a beautiful transition. Loved Static-X since high school, still love them today. Thank you guys!
Static-X & Wayne Static never die!
Bumped into Wayne at a show in the 90's in San Francisco. Playing with Stabbing Westward, Fear Factory, and Skinlab. I was thinking "who's this dude with the crazy tall hair?". Then I saw him on stage lol
I keep hearing this story from a lot of people. I guess Static-X was something completely new in 1999 haha
I saw them in 2002.and was one of the most brutal concerts I have ever been. It really was something, well still is, thanks to this project.
RIP Wayne, you're one of the greats, at least for me.
We will not forget you wayne. Rip 🤗 Your fan from Turkey 🇹🇷
How the heck does this only have 1.9 million views. Get sharing people.
The Legacy Still Continues.. Static X Forever 💀🦾
Run! Run! Run!
Wayne was a rock God... Everything you guys did as a group was why I am today.. Please Tony.. keep it alive.. can't wait for New tour... But please.... Keep Evil Disco Alive.. #loveWayne

HOLY SHIT
no way wayne aint headbanging in the afterlife to this

We miss you Wayne.
Long live Static-X! Wayne is in our hearts.
How did I not know about this?!?!? I just got a random add in Facebook that Static X was going to be in Houston this Sunday, so I had to listen.... Hell yeah! This is Static-X!!! This is like being a teenager again!
Life long Static-X fan here and I’ve had the honor of meeting Wayne several times at the House of Blues in Orlando and I was devastated when he passed because Static fueled my teenage angst years and is a part of me! Very cool to see Edsel step in and give not only the band new life, but pay homage to Wayne and keep his style and sound alive! Wayne was and always will be STATIC X!
Static-X forever!! 🖤🤘🖤🤘🖤🤘🤘🖤🤘🖤
Having been a Static X fan longer than Dope I have so much respect for Edsel keeping on the legacy of the band for Wayne as well as his own. Without replacing him outright.
Love how you’ve kept the spirit of Wayne possessing the machine as the lead singer and always will be of Static-X! Chills and best concert ever I’ve just seen - Rise of the Machine 2023
I'm going tmw can't wait
Yea they killed it in Orlando a few days ago! Best set I’ve ever seen, this direction with XerO is awesome, bringing back the WDT vibes.
I love it! If i didn't know any better, i'd think Wayne is back with the band to create a new album lol. Amazing fan service!
This is AWESOME!! Thank you for staying with Wayne's sound!!!
Evil disco forever 🤘
Wow, can't believe how much Edsel sounds like Wayne. Love that Static X is preserving its legendary sound. What a great way to honor Wayne, keep it up guys I'll forever be a fan.
This is perhaps Static-X hardest song.
This is so fucking beyond perfect. Right down to the sample in the intro. Fuckin dude... edsel dope.. to pull up and carry on his buddies legacy. Nameless, faceless... sound exactly like him. It's soooooooo fuckin sick.
If you pause at 1.02 you see where the bus was headed haha. I think this is my favourite project regeneration video yet!
NEXT STOP OTSEGO
Fun fact, Otsego is actually a town outside of where Wayne grew up, in Michigan. Why it is a thing with this band, who knows. Maybe Wayne lost his virginity there.
@@soapy42 the story is that Wayne absolutely hated living in Otsego and felt like it was a dying place that was full of condescending people.
Always been a fan seen them back in 2006 in Chicago. Rocked then and will always
It's like Push It, Dirthouse and I'm with Stupid had a love child😁💯👍I really needed this🤙
With the 1998 Blade theme as a bonus
Love Static-X... thank you Wayne.... RIP Bro...
Absolutely the best album of 2020 and 2021. Love the song
Wayne, wayne, wayne!! A great frontman,, and a great great songwriter!!! A genious
Yeah!! Static X and Dope.. what a amazing thing!
Wayne never dies while Static-X sounds On!! 🤘
Dope opened for Static-X back in 1999. Great show!
