- Stay Alive, is the second single from the forthcoming album Project Regeneration Volume 2 and features vocals by Wayne Static. Project Regeneration Vol 2 is a collection of 13 brand-new Static-X songs which contain the final vocal performances & musical compositions of founding vocalist Wayne Static, along with the original Wisconsin Death Trip lineup featuring Tony Campos (bass), Koichi Fukuda (guitars) and Ken Jay (drums). The new album was produced by the band’s current vocalist/guitarist Xer0 and mixed/mastered by long-time collaborator Ulrich Wild and is the 2nd installment of the 2-part release. I was struggling with substance abuse, hard. Very, very rough 9 years of heroin addiction, fentanyl, xylazine cut into it, about every other drug you can name.
but I am clean for 9 months today and …we can get thru this together. Good energy towards anyone dealing with an affliction, addiction, pain, and (or) suffering.
I love you.

And yes it’s not easy, life isn’t easy for (most all) people these days, but, hopefully a mindset of being happy of what we’ve overcome ..or, being greatful for those nice moments or cool meteor showers or a fun time out with other positive people, can keep us moving towards positivity.

Yeah, I was skeptical of the first Project Regeneration as as shameless cheap money grab but they really have done it right. It takes years to get over someone you care about like that regardless if it's friend or family so it's been cool to see where they've brought Static-X so far.

Have you gotten to see them live recently? It's absolutely insane how they capture his essence. The mannerisms are identical, and the voice is damn near the same, too. I highly highly recommend getting out to a show if you haven't.
@@jamesdean4966 I have yes! Saw them in May in Brisbane, Australia. Somehow managed to worm my way into front row right in between Tony & Xero. Hands down, best fucking night of my life. They were incredible!! I hoping they keep touring and making music ❤️

I’ve talked to Tony several times about Wayne’s last show that he played here in Fargo 3 months or so before he passed.
It would be nice, but I think it also revolves around Dope and Devil Driver also at this point…

@@dustencross357 bro, my I’ve seen my top three bands play multiple times. I don’t need to road trip to see them either, because all three came to Fargo.
Of those three includes Static X who came here to Fargo 6 times and during his solo tour, Wayne Static played at the now defunct Garage Bar, (his solo Wisconsin death trio tour) where I had the distinct honor of meeting the man, and Tera not even a few months before they died, and got to be on the stage with them because I was invited, by Wayne, to join them on stage and evil disco my heart away.
So, why would I need to road trip to see Static-X?
Static-X can come to Fargo.
Wayne even told me he loved playing in Fargo because he loved the culture here.
This. Time for the return. They were one of my first shows back in 1999 at the Civic in Fargo. I don't live in Fargo anymore but I would go home for this show.

I wish I had gotten a chance to meet Wayne been a fan of Static-X since I was five. One of the first times I saw a Static-X song was for Batman Beyond. He came out looking like Batman with his hair in points to make the ears. It is still one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen.

Wayne was a mixed bag can’t tell you how many times I saw them, more then 10 probably less then 30 times. Was in the green room a lot during a certain period specifically and Wayne ran hot and cold. Honestly of core members I hung out w/ Tripp the most until his two arrests. And Wayne was forever bitter and pissed to some extent after. It’s also when I some him start drinking and what not. He used to have a really cool gf for a long time from 90s- I can’t remember but when the porn star showed up I didn’t like her and thought that it probably want good. Oh well there.

I just recently discovered Static X, and the songs became my athems for each day. Put my earbuds in and got shit done. His voice helped me to step back from life's Bullshit of the Moment and just FN Rock my soul out! Since I had just discovered Static X, I did not know about the tragic fate of Wayne or his wife. I just now found out here....now. I'm broken....no words can express the depth of my sadness. I will choose to believe that God wanted him back so he could rock out too. May you be at peace. Static X has such respect for their fans.. Their sound is unmatched bringing the electronic elements with the metal elements.. I will be 40 this year. And in my teens Wisconsin Death Trip got a lot of play from me and all my friends. We lost a musician that set the tone for his different style vocals that no one was doing back im those days.. And of course his image was different.. Wayne was Wayne his know individual.. RIP Wayne.. You are missed and forever will be..💀🤘
Xero and Static X crew...best job honoring a legend. Oxy nearly killed me so I can feel the hell Wayne felt. Glad they are bringing awareness to such a devastating problem.❤❤ ❤❤ 20yeara clean now and wife,4 kids and now making 100k a year. Miracle for a high school drop out,ADHD,depression, anxiety,addict,alcoholic,nearly died from illness 3years ago. If I can overcome and turn my pain and suffering to grow strong,confident, successful. Then anyone can. Evil Disco for life!

My cousin introduced me to Static-X almost two decades ago over her shitty old car's cranked-up door speakers. She has since succumbed to addiction and has been dead for several years now. I miss you, Hollie.

I really miss Wayne Static and to this day I have a hard time believing he is gone. Keeping his memory alive is the coolest thing in the world. I love it! With each new song it's like Wayne's not really gone, and his and the band's one of a kind sound can live on for us fans! I think I speak for us all when I say, keep it going guys we literally can't get enough!!!

I remember when he died. My mother in law bought us tickets powerman 5000 and him where suppose to play in Dallas, tx.. he died 3 to 4 weeks before hand. The whole show was a tribute to him. It was my first concert and I really wanted to see him. I have many pictures of it on another phone.
