also just found out looking at mine while looking at your video , there is a magnet in the strap you can move around . witch means you can make the strap a bracelet so when your not using it you should give a try.
Yeah, I figured that out shortly after the video was published... haha! It's so cool what you can really do with this little wrist strap and how much thought was put in during the designing process... Every time you think you know how best to use the strap and you discover another feature, it feel like that lightbulb moment turning on in your head.. haha. But yeah, thanks for watching and also for the sharing the suggestion, really appreciated it. :-) I wish you a great time, stay safe and have fun shooting! :-)
That's a peak design tripod plate and also the same plate for the peak design capture clips. I use both the peak design capture clips and their travel tripod, that's why I prefer to attach the Peak Design anchor to the Peak Design tripod plate (since it's more compatible with other Peak Designs accessories). I hope this helps. I thank you so much for watching, I wish you a good time, stay safe and have fun shooting! :-)
It is a bit sad when ppl go cheap on the connectors. Peak design are not a massive company and came with a really good product. Companies selling cheaper knock offs are just feeding of the work peak design. If you want peak design to keep innovating, you need to buy their connectors. Otherwise they will lose funding, then those parasitic companies won’t have anything to feed off. Also how much are you saving really. A few dollars - compare to your camera equipment that is nothing. Fund innovative companies 😀
You're right, Peak Design have definitely came up with a lot of innovative designs and I have to edit, since that video, I've bought Peak Designs straps/huffs/clips/tripods & bags for all of my cameras, boy that really drained my bank account... I really love their products (apart from their tripods which is too weak and not as portable as competitor's offers within the price range and also their bags which is not as durable nor practical as their competitors within the same price range [in my experience as someone who often travels across different continents])... But I do agree. I admit that I used to buy the knockoff plastic when I first started the business only for fact that I didn't have enough money left but I hated (and still do hate) straps, so spending about 80 euros per straps on something that I hate using didn't seem economical back then.. But even though I hated and still do hate straps, since my business grew a little bit, I decided to just get the Peak Design branded one to support the company (despite if you dig a little into their stats, their profit is at the very least of 59% of the actual product cost and they are actually not that small either) and also just give credit to the company who actually came up with the idea!. Because credit should always be given to where it deserves regardless of the position/condition. :-) I am actually sad as well seeing even some big brands nowadays started copying Peak Design and claim it theirs... But Peak Design has definitely produced great products that they have such a strong loyal customer base world-wide who aren't afraid to support the brand as well as recommend the brand to other users as well. Which is definitely an advantage over any knockoff brands or even bigger brands that are copying from Peak Design. :-) Thank you very much for watching as well as for commenting on such a meaningful topic, really appreciated it. I wish you a great time, stay safe and have fun shooting! :-)

What's that silver plate from the bottom of the body? The one the peak design anchor is tied up?
