@@ChefSweetCaroline ..Holy cow, Chef! You knocked me out with this tutorial. I've made dozens of Apple Fritters using raw doughnut dough & apple pie filling. I never wanted to get more involved than that. In this case, I may make an exception...I've worked off & on for decades in kitchens with some of the best chefs and cooks you could ever meet. We all knew a big chef's knife was an essential tool. What surprised me was, it looks like you're using a 10-inch knife, dicing those apples. That knife is half as big a you are! You made perfect dices...Examples like that are one of the reasons that women are some of my most favorite people. Respect... 🇺🇸 👍☕
So I just had a sample of this which chef so graciously sent to me by my hubby dan ummmm freaking awesome the flavor is remarkable sooooooo good thankyou thankyou thankyou excited for salted caramel banana bread much love thankyou again
You could have mixed the first dry ingredients together that she tossed in the apples. That said, it looks very good and I’m going to make it. You’re a cutie!
That's looks really delicious. Never tried anything with Apple yet. This making me feel like i want to try something similar. Well explained. Great job.
Many many people will be making this recipe, but maybe not for a week or even much much later. You provide the ingredients lists which is helpful, but it's important to provide written directions in that catagory so people like me don't have to transcribe the directions.I have the time, but many people won't watch to the end if they have to type it out. I will make this but not for a month or so.
I tried this however, I am NOT a baker but my batter was runny and didn't bake??? What on the apple fritter did I do wrong? I am re-watching this again to see the step I missed...
@@ChefSweetCaroline Oh never mind I found out exactly why it did not work. But the second time I did it it turned out absolutely delicious. Let's just say it was a baker's error 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Add a tsp of lemon juice to apple mixture
My Daughter @s per usual. She bought food, and doesn't consume. She has 🍎's downstairs. They will not go to waste😄😄

Is there any substitute for buttermilk I can use here ?
you can use sour cream if you have that in your fridge. Also you can add 1 tablespoon of white vinegar to 1 cup of whole milk.

Thank you!!
@@ChefSweetCaroline you are most welcome 😊👍🌹
Like 12. Well done.
Thank you!
Is there a reason why you use a manual whisk? or can you use an electric whisk?
Good question. You can definitely use a electric whisk! I just wanted to use a manual whisk for this video. It’s a good workout lol 😂
Hi, chef, what pan size did you use for this recipe? thanks for sharing!
I believe it's a 9x5 nonstick loaf pan.
Thanks for watching!
Many many people will be making this recipe, but maybe not for a week or even much much later. You provide the ingredients lists which is helpful, but it's important to provide written directions in that catagory so people like me don't have to transcribe the directions.I have the time, but many people won't watch to the end if they have to type it out. The printed rec. would be a help. Far too quick for me to jot down.
The recipe will always be in the description box below! :)
Can you do this with applesauce instead of apples
It will be too much moisture if you do it with applesauce. The loaf will have a gummy texture.
What sized loaf pan did you use?
It's a standard size loaf pan..this Apple Fritter bread bakes well in any pan really..😊
I tried this however, I am NOT a baker but my batter was runny and didn't bake??? What on the apple fritter did I do wrong? I am re-watching this again to see the step I missed...
Oh no! So sorry that happened!
@@ChefSweetCaroline Oh never mind I found out exactly why it did not work. But the second time I did it it turned out absolutely delicious. Let's just say it was a baker's error 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I'm glad to hear that it worked out for you! 😊
Can you provide what size pan you used .
I believe it was a 9x5 loaf pan!
Is that milk u put into the batter ?????
it was buttermilk. 😊
why do you have to use brown butter why can't you just use melted butter ???? never heard of doing that to butter
You can use melted butter, but brown butter will definitely enhance the flavor of the apple fritter bread! Try it out!
I will try it thanks@@ChefSweetCaroline
Whats the size of the loaf tin, please?
its a standard size loaf pan. 9 inch.
@@ChefSweetCaroline thanks so much. This info helped me as i own that size tin.I thought it needed to be larger but i am fine now
No problem! Glad I could help! 💓
What kind of milk did u use and how much of it?
1 cup buttermilk
Yes! Buttermilk!
Can you grate the apple
Of course! Just make sure you extract most of the juice of the apple so your bread doesn't getting soggy..
Brown butter is easy to burn
Yes it is! Just keep your eye on it and always swirl your pot so that the milk solids toast up evenly! 😊
How much BUTTERMILK?
1 cup Buttermilk
This looks delicious, is this your own recipe??
I’m going to try this!
News friends here, do stop via our our channel too xxx
Yes it is!! Please do! It taste amazing!! I’ll def stop by your channel! Thanks for subscribing!!
The brown butter is nothing but ghee. Which is used commonly by Indians
Yikes. You sliced the sticker on the apple right into your recipe :(
Haha! You can't really see it because of how i edited the video, but I did remove it. No worries 👍 ☺️
