Hi Bobs Girl, Thank you! I hope you enjoy it! Thanks For Watching and Commenting!
I have made this type of apple bread for a couple of years and it is yummy to keep on hand, especially for breakfast, and guests. The first time I made it I used vanilla. But after that I use a product I get on Amazon called Princess flavoring. It's a huge game changer. It makes baked goods taste like it came from a professional bakery. That's their secret I found out. It's concentrated so it takes half the amount . I highly recommend it.
Momof2, I will definitely check out the Princess flavoring! I have never heard of it. Thanks for the info and thanks for watching and commenting ❤️Judy

Just found you. This looks so amazingly good. Sent my son to the store for some apples. I have to try this bread. TYFS! My Grandmother use to make a Apple Date Nut loaf that was so good. But I never got a hold of the recipe & I really regret that. It was my very favorite loaf bread. My mouth still waters every time I think of that bread. Have tried many times to make it but no go. I loved that bread. Thanks!

@@julietteyork6293 Hi Juliette, Sunoven.com !
Really good recipe. I think it could have used a 1/4 tsp of salt but otherwise the texture is moist and good. I did mix my apples and nuts in with the batter instead of layering it and it came out great.
JoAnn, That’s great! Happy you liked the recipe and thanks For Watching and Commenting ❤️

I am going to attempt a low carb sugar free version of this recipe by substituting out the flour for Swerve yellow cake mix and creaming it with the butter, vanilla, ect. And use their sugar free confectioners for the icing. I also have some allulose maple syrup that might be good mixed into the icing.

How long does it cook in a conventional oven...I don’t think many of your viewers have a sun oven. I think my husband will love it.
You usually drop the temperature and time for cooking by 15% when you cook in a convection oven. That’s what mine is anyway
I would hazard to guess 300 for an hour for a conventional oven. Test it with a toothpick for done ness.
Hi - - Great recipe, can't wait to try it! Can you give a conversion for the temp & bake time for a conventional oven, please? Also....where did you find the sun oven? Where I live, we may as well make use of the sun because its very hot here & there's more sunny days than not, per year. Thanks!
Hi Piccolo! Thank you:) Bake in regular oven at 350 for about 30 minutes. Everyone’s oven is different so check it often and when toothpick poked into center comes out clean it done. The sun oven is at www.sunoven.com. Thanks For Watching and Commenting. Judy ❤️
$389 to almost $500 depending on accessories inckuded. Interesting little oven I must say.
@@susanhenry6834 yes, it’s an investment but if power goes out for a long period of time, you can still cook/bake anything as long as there is sun or partial sun! Great to have even if you don’t want to heat up your kitchen in hot summer:) Judy
Re the sun oven, there are (or used to be) instructions on how to make your own.
Yummilicious 💗
Thank you 😋

You should! It's a great cooking tool to have for off grid or power outages!
All American sun oven is WONDERFUL and well worth the money. Only problem is that because it's outside, you forget how hot it gets !
Size pan?
I used 9×5 pan for a hour 15min, middle still wet so I put back in for another 15 mins then it turned out great, they taste so good.
Hi Kristie, I used a 9x5 loaf pan too. My oven gets pretty hot so that might be the difference in baking time. Every oven is different:) I hope this helps. Thanks for watching and commenting. Judy ❤️

Just wondering why it seemed like it was curdling after you added the milk🤔. That being said, the outcome looked delicious 😋
The milk must have been cold and the butter became lumpy.
EDIT: I commented before watching the whole video. When you showed the slide at the end - WOW!!! I definitely need to make this.

what temp should it be baked at in an interior oven?I think I missed that
350
Portobello recipes
think if I am in Nethrlands then it is celcius must be something like 175 or 180 degrees celcius and if not loafpan but a round cake pan not sure but think for like 50 minutes or an hour because the middle is bit wider then in a loafpan but I go try just not sure about temperature but if I use most common one like 180 to 190 degrees celcius then must work just need lot of poking with toothpick to check lol
I don’t have a sun oven … i have regular electric oven what temperature & how long? This looks delicious
Hi Cristina, 350 in a regular oven for around 45 minutes to 1 hour. Every oven is different on how hot it gets, just check the center with a toothpick or cake tester at 45 and if it doesn't come out clean then let it bake until it does. Enjoy!
I’d definitely use a mixer.
You could use a mixer:) but I don’t always want to , just another tool to clean:) Thanks For Watching and Commenting.
