As Most senior citizen people have Joint Ac with their spouse or have nomination in name of wife ..and ase mein un logo ka liye ye jaruri ho jate ki woh apne rights ko jane ..and it will easy for them to procced while approaching Banks 👍
I'm facing same issue but here bank has freezed all our saving accounts in which the deceased name was there as 1st, 2nd & 3rd holder. Because legal hires is claiming for his rights under 1956 hindu act through notice to bank.
Here the person who is claiming has been excluded by the deceased from his registered Will.
Bank is not allowing the actual beneficiary & 2 other joint holders or the nominee to operate any accounts. Even those accounts where the other 2 holders are the prime holders & the deceased is as the 2nd or 3rd holder
Bank is asking for getting succession certificate for all the accounts in which the disease name is as second or third holder also.

Bank is finishing responsibility by transferring money but how it will be guaranted that nominee or joint holder will act as trustee?Rule is okay but incomplete, for legal heirs the system is still a way to go to court.

Please can you suggest any advocate in Delhi from whom I can contact for same matter. Actually bank person or any other deny this and said in either or survivors mode surviver is owner only and he/she use the ammount or can give to any one.

Mam namaste,agar SBI SB A/c me 3 joint holders hai,primary Holder ki death ho jati hai to 2nd & 3rd holder ka kya role hoga,2nd primary ho jata hai yA dono ko equal amount milega y a/c chalu rahega ki band ho jayega,Joint Holder bhi Trustee hota hai,agar Nominee/Joint Holder Immediate family Member hai to bhi vo trustee rahenge,kya 2 nominee ho sakte hai kya, pls clear the doubts
Aap SBI se poochhiye ki kaun se terms and conditions par woh joint account khola gaya tha.....aur agar aap primary holder banana chahte hain toh kya formalities karni hongi
