I'm facing same issue but here bank has freezed all our saving accounts in which the deceased name was there as 1st, 2nd & 3rd holder. Because legal hires is claiming for his rights under 1956 hindu act through notice to bank. Here the person who is claiming has been excluded by the deceased from his registered Will. Bank is not allowing the actual beneficiary & 2 other joint holders or the nominee to operate any accounts. Even those accounts where the other 2 holders are the prime holders & the deceased is as the 2nd or 3rd holder Bank is asking for getting succession certificate for all the accounts in which the disease name is as second or third holder also. Kindly please guide
