    I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for.

      I feel your pain mate, as a fellow retiree, I’d suggest you look into passive index fund investing and learn some more. For me, I had my share of ups and downs when I first started looking for a consistent passive income so I hired an expert advisor for aid, and following her advice, I poured $30k in value stocks and digital assets, Up to 200k so far and pretty sure I'm ready for whatever comes.

    When the pandemic struck, Buffet was also selling. It was a terrific time to buy equities overall and a great entry point for those in my generation, who were in their 30s and 40s. Do you believe this would be a good time to sell some stocks as well? I'm wondering what the best ways are to rebalance my $2 million holdings.

      Even with great opportunities, we should proceed cautiously. Seeking market analysis or advice from certified market strategists is important.

      I agree. Exactly why I now work with one. A lot of folks downplay the role of advisors until being burnt by their emotions, no offense. I remember some years back, during the covid-outbreak, I needed a good boost to stay afloat, hence researched for advisors and thankfully came across one with grit. As of today, my cash reserve has yielded from $350k to nearly $1m

    Buffett is watching on the sidelines how people have more or less already forgotten Munger... After a year he passed away.
    He himself is 94 years old.
    You really think this has nothing to do with his actions in his portfolio, it is just because his indicators tell to sell?

  • @Wonderwoody1

    This week I sold all my portfolio, some of which I have had for decades. All the indicators are there. Combine this with the incoming Trump administration and there is only disaster ahead. This con-man has wrecked every business he owned and is about to do the same to the US and World economy.

    this is so misleading and panic making... Buffett have sold all of his Apple shares, but none of his Coca-Cola shares. so stop yapping "sold all of his favorite shares". he sold what he think he can re-buy at a discount, and kept what he believe should be held and not played with. in the next crush people might defer upgrading their old iPhone or Macbook but will for sure still afford a few bottles of coke a month just as an over-simplified example. all of the rest is just trying to get into the mind of a person, something none of us can do

    • @darrenprior6339
      @darrenprior6339 7 дней назад +2

      Buffett did not sell ALL of his Apple shares. Apple is still his largest holding by far. It used to represent a 45% holding. It's not down to around 8%. That's still huge by anyone's standard.

    Have to remember that Buffet is soon 95 years old. He is that type of person that he isn't delusional about facts. All of this selling might be just because he is just old and it is obvious that in that age you have to think about your death and he has spoken about leaving majority of cash to the charity after he is gone.

      Buffet is selling the share of Berkshire Hathaway which is owned by very many people - not just by Buffet. Buffet's own investment is in Berkshire in which he remains invested. He will leave his investments to his Foundation.

I aim to gain from this and I'm doing it with 200k and less. While dabbling into covered call ETFs, ranging 9-11% divs paid monthly. Am i on the right track?

    Buffet is definitely preparing for something very big !!! He has been very wise all along with a conservative approach. Part of what influences this ( and some may disagree ) is that the upcoming Trump administration has not shown any ability to manage an economic storm. Divide your funds in short, middle and long term buckets and invest wisely and with caution !!! Definitely a BIG yellow light !!!🚥 😮😮😮
