The revolvers found in the glass case were probably disabled, and he had to assemble parts from one and another to get them to function. A man who knows his trade very well.
Mark Dacascos, who played Wick's rival Zero and went fanboi on the couch, was known for martial arts movies and to another audience as "The Chairman" on the American version of the cooking competition show, "The Iron Chef" with Alton Brown as the host & narrator.
30:25 The two actors in this scene with the knives are also in a couple of foreign martial arts movies called "The Raid: Redemption" and "The Raid 2." I highly recommend both.
What was impressive also, is that in this one with all the glass, and previously with the mirrors, I couldn't catch even one small glimpse of a camera or crew member at all. Not easy to accomplish. Love your insights and reactions Chrissie.
Of course that man looks familiar, thats Ser Bronn of the Black Water. Lord of Highgarden, Lord paramount of the Reach, Warden of the South. And Master of coin.
In chapter 2 you asked about blood and CGI. You didn't ask here but the shattering glass was all CGI as it made it easier to do reshoots without having to deal with cleaning up broken glass and resetting the scenes. A scene could be shot several times in succession and then the shattering glass all added later.
I’m not being ugly towards you in saying this, BUT you have not seen good “sets” yet. Wait until you see 4. I enjoy your reactions to this series. I am anxiously awaiting 5. I do agree with you about # 1 setting the standard for this series, but they all are quite powerful in their own ways. The writers / director have truly found ways to integrate the viewer into the emotions of the films. The idea of the last 3 way fight, the two discussing John Wick and getting to fight him….. helping him up once and allowing him to get up the 2nd time … John Wick is legendary in those circles ( assassins world wide ) that they were honored to fight him. Also, at the end of their fight, he allowed them to live. He repaid them…. There is honor between most good assassins. And yes, 1,2 and 3 all took place over the course of around 1 1/2 weeks. And finally, recall in 2 that John and Vigo’s brother pledged Peace…. So he is not returning thus far, because he was allowed to live. Great reaction.
1) I loved The Seventh Seal. Amazing film. 2) Mark Dacascos was an action star, mainly in the 90s and 2000s, but like at a B-movie level/direct to video most of the time. I do like the live-action Crying Freeman, based on the manga, he starred in. 3) The phrase is indeed Latin. 4) The actor you recognized, who shot Halle Berry's dog was Jerome Flynn...Bron from Game of Thrones. 5) Ernest, the assassin in the library, is NBA player Boban Marjanović of the Houston Rockets. He is Serbian and 7'4" tall. 6) There are talks of a John Wick 5, and there is a series on Peacock (?) called The Continental, that is a prequel telling the story of a young Winston in the 1970s. It also has Mel Gibson. 7) Chad Stehelski, the director, is currently prepping a remake of Highlander starring Henry Cavill. Keep up the great videos, Chrissie!!!
7'4"?! Wow. Part of me thought it was CGI! Once I'm done the movies I am 100% checking out the series because that sounds so interesting!! Have you seen it? I never saw Highlander but maybe I should in preparation of the remake... Thanks so much for the support, Rob 😊
@@chrissiereacts YW! I haven't seen the series. Highlander is awesome...co-stars Christopher Lambert, Sean Connery. and Clancy Brown, with a score by Queen. Take care!
Not much time for Bourbon in this one, right? Good work Chrissie.. (+++++) Worth waiting for.. The seventh seal = Swedish movie.. surprised you have seen it, from my country Sweden.. :) I'm not going to reveal anything from the fourth John Wick movie, but it will choke you.
Long time ago.. Have seen the most of Ingmar Bergmans films.. (deep stuff) Number 4 of John Wick are almost 3 hour long, much wine and much bourbon.. Fanny & Alexander from -82 are really good.. (Ingmar Bergman)@@chrissiereacts
There is a spinoff John Wick movie that I believe is coming out later this year called The Ballerina. It looks like we will get a female assassin from the group that helped John in this one.
@@chrissiereactsOn the streaming service Peacock there is also a prequel miniseries called The Continental. It has been out for a little while now. It shows how Winston became the manager of the hotel. It was good.
Hi Richard! I've been experiencing some delays with JW4 (along with a power outage yesterday 🫤) Hoping all will be good with the upload by tonight! Just wanted to keep you posted 😁
Fun Fact: The russian guy in number one of John Wick was from Sweden, he is dead now.. (56 years old) and his brother in number 2 are from Sweden too, perhaps someone in number 4 also.. :)
I had no idea there was so much Swedish influence in these films! I think the Skarsgards might be the only other famous actors I'd recognise...I'll keep my eyes peeled now 😁
Now you know.. :) And they all play bad characters. :) Even the old Italian moviestar Franco Nero are in number two.. (Maybe you to young to knowing who it is.. )@@chrissiereacts
John didn't cut the guy's fingers with the sword. He sliced the ligaments in his wrists, basically making his hand useless. It's a technique used in kenjutsu (Japanese sword fighting). You go for the inner elbow, shoulder or wrist because they weren't historically well protected by armor and would make the limb dead weight.

John doesn't need a disguise. He welcomes all the smoke. The next one is my fav of the franchise.
Hah! Too right. I'm looking forward to it!

Yeah...let's go !! can't wait for finale chapter. Thank you.
Watching it this weekend. I'm pumped!!
How many people caught the Matrix reference "Guns! Lots of guns!" at 26:11?
What was impressive also, is that in this one with all the glass, and previously with the mirrors, I couldn't catch even one small glimpse of a camera or crew member at all. Not easy to accomplish. Love your insights and reactions Chrissie.
Thank you!!
And yes, totally!! I kept looking for it too! Like surely they slipped up somewhere... but no. So impressive.
24:45 That was an awesome fact drop. Seventh Seal I’ll have to watch that…
Your eyes light up at the sight of blood. Love it! 😂
Of course that man looks familiar, thats Ser Bronn of the Black Water. Lord of Highgarden, Lord paramount of the Reach, Warden of the South. And Master of coin.
Rip Lance Riddick talks already about John wick 5
It will not be a John Wick 5.. Trust me..
They all pick up where they left off lol
6:10 Ha! He made him into a unicorn.
😂🦄
What language is your subtitles in?
Omg for ten minutes I been thinking Angelina, Angie, etc trying to remember her name and boom You say Angelica Houston! Lol

You know I wondered about all the broken glass and what a headache it must've been! That's pretty impressive.
This channel is one of my new favorites for fun and surprising reactions. :)
I appreciate this so much, thank you!!
@@chrissiereacts Keanu’s hair actually did get a little longer in this movie, it’s significantly and noticeably longer in Chapter 4

And can I add one more thing about Mark Dacascos. A lot of people recognize him from Iron Chef America.
The 4th movie has a post credit scene, don't forget it.
Thanks for telling me!
Beautiful

Can't wait for the reaction to 4. Scott Adkins is my favorite villain in it.

Promise to tell me when number four comes.. :) Almost 3 hours long.. Maybe you will do some sandwishes, three hour are a long, long time.. 🙂
Friday! 😃 I'll aim for morning here to make up for the time difference haha

John Wick Movies Are The Best 💯
Love Seeing Your Reactions, Sweetheart

Watch kingsman, terminator franchise.
Mam please watch 3idiots
8:40 You didn't spot your subtitles weren't in English? Unless you're fluent in Italian of course.
