- In a new episode, Riz Khan spoke to one of the world’s most influential Muslim leaders who has become a renowned voice for moderation and cooperation within Islam and beyond - building bridges with faith leaders and governments across the globe.
He also represents a key figure in providing spiritual guidance for Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 - Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman’s program designed to modernize the Kingdom by the end of the decade.
As Secretary-General of the Muslim World League, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa has traveled the world, sharing his vision with evangelist leaders in the US and empathizing with Jewish faith leaders at the Nazi death camp in Auschwitz.
And last month he hosted Muslim leaders in the holy city of Mecca, during a groundbreaking event where he helped build even more bridges between different Islamic sects and schools of thought.
He shared his thoughts during a wide ranging interview in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.

The interviewer should have asked about specific examples of Sharia breaches eg allowing Muslim women to no longer need to wear the head scarf or for allowing concerts and Alcohol or turn the visa for haj into a lottery basis or allowing Hindus to control all hajj visas and hajj arrangements etc.
Regarding women’s covering, it is a matter of debate among Muslims whether covering the face, head, or body only.
As for alcohol, there is no need for such a question, as it is banned in Saudi Arabia and was allowed last month for non-Muslims in their embassies only. If you believe the rumor that Saudi Arabia allows alcohol, this is your problem.
As for Hajj, Saudi Arabia is not responsible for the corruption of foreign countries, and every year the Kingdom tries to reduce this corruption, and the latest attempt was by making Hajj directly through official Saudi agencies so that the non-Arab Muslim avoids being robbed by the local middleman in his country.

@@nasseralzeer9935 : The Quran is quite clear about womens' covering, the head and body is compulsory, not the face. But SA apparently opened the option for women not to cover their heads anymore. Also, the hajj is being managed by staff within Saudi agencies who are Hindus and it is run like a lottery system, ie not everyone will get a chance, so their automatic right has been compromised, ie taken away.

All Muslim countries are open to deciding whether or not to cover the face, and the majority of Saudi women cover the face and head, while the minority show their faces. As for Hajj, you can see the recent Saudi decision, in which it prohibited the existence of a middle entity between the non-Arab Muslim pilgrim and the Saudi Hajj agencies to reduce cost, and you can find that on the Saudi Islamic Affairs website
