- I have a click noise since i bought it second hand..it was not to bad...but now is very severe! I need to find out from where it comes...
I started from the middle to the rear... nothing all good. So it must be coming from the front diff... that will be another video!
I run 7k in the front diff, factory Losi uses some funky grease that ends up acting like an adhesive on the diff gears, adding fresh diff fluid stopped the clicking noise for me, all my rear diffs are locked but I run 10k in the center
Is it better running a locked differential in the back
@@williamsheils1550 better is a subjective question, the real baja trucks run lockers/spool. The only reason Losi put an open diff is because of people complaining about roll overs. Open diff on my opinion defeats the purpose of a solid axle desert truck. In the loose dirt nothing can beat a locked rear but they don't like turn sharp, if you like to drift a locker is the only way to go
No video for front diff?
My baja rey cannot punch take off, it makes a buzzing sound
I also have a Losi Baja Rey, same body/color as yours. Also had a clicking sound and it's from the front diff. I thought the gears were stripped but when I opened it, the gears were all ok buy there was no fluid inside. Also, not sure what kind of fluid Losi put in there because it was really sticky/tacky.
I'd suggest 200k weight for the front. The combo I've seen guys use is 200k/500k/1million (which is more grease, than 'fluid)
@@computerguy79 not really a good option for these trucks
@@DoubleClutchProductionswhat is a good choice? Im rebuilding it soon. Clicking in center but i dont see much grease, but i havnt opened it up totally yet.
Hey I have a 1/10 losi Baja Rey and just the other day I was playing with it and all of a sudden it locked up on me. I could press it full throttle and it will struggle to go anywhere and make a horrible clicking sound, almost like the gears are locked up or something. Any idea what it could be?
You need to find from where the lock comes...Maybe a rock on the spur? Start from center to rear and to front....it should be One locking the entire car. Most are Just the spur with rocks or motor seizure specially the motor bearings that colapse the magnets ínside...this is general for all Rc's!
what is this clicking sound you guys are talking about? does it happen on full throttle or just normal driving?
BTW, I can't believe you did this using just hand tools. lol. must have taken forever. Took me an hour to change out the whole the rear end and that's using a powered driver.
When i got the RC it didnt make that click on normal driving, ONLY on full throotle but once on a white...now it does all the time...so it must BE fixed...now i know it isn't the center or rear diff. So it must BE the front...Will make a vídeo Also! Also my body is removable with 2 clips but that was custom and took a lot of time and effort but well worth it Just like any 1/8 buggy...
What's it mean when you manually turn your servo and your front light bar comes on then goes off
ONLY thing i think off is Dynamo energy...you move and object and it makes electricity. Like moving a Dynamo flasligth. You move servo it makes voltage to the receiver....
Thank you
