I couldn't find a video on this and figured others might want to know how to quickly bind and calibrate their Super Baja Rey and calibrate their AVC receiver.
Hi Steve's RC, Yeah The binding part was skipped but that's straight forward I had no problems binding. I am having another problem.(Please note I have the same truck and transmitter as you show in the video) The calibrating is just not working, and I am discouraged because I have been trying for 45 min, and in your video it took 2 min. When calibrating, it has steering, but no throttle, when I hold the throttle down it does not pick it up. However, when I throw it in reverse, it picks that up perfectly thinking thats throttle. So I have steering, reverse is throttle, no throttle and no brakes. I gave up trying for tonight. Please write back if you know any troubleshooting I can do.
Have you started with a clean model on your radio? Sure you don't have trims all the way centered? yea, binding is totally out of the video on accident, but I think most understand how to actually bind. Hope this helps!!
@@StevesRC Hey Steve. Thanks for responding so quick. I saw your response last night and tried it this morning. Apparently there is an extra step. Right after binding(and truck is still on) I hold the calibration button down and the light blinks green, you do the same steps, idle, throttle, brake, etc. Then turn off, and turn back on while holding the calibration/set button, do the same steps, and it worked. I noticed without doing the calibration right after binding it just would not pick anything up. I have steering, throttle and brakes, no reverse, but I don't think the baja rey has reverse? Thank you so much for helping!
I also noticed that the steering is slightly to the right for some reason, I am assuming its because of the AVC and the gyro is not level. Hope that goes away after a couple of runs.
You showed how to calibrate, but skipped the binding! Did you require a bind plug or did it automatically bind in close proximity? Thanks!
@Eden Ronald yup, I've been using Instaflixxer for since november myself =)
Omg thx 🙏🏼 ❤️ I'm from Germany nice Video.
Good video

Thanks, very helpful.

Great vid!! U dont need bind plug to calibrate?
Edit* you do
Thx..I just got super rock rey awesome!!!
phillymac according to the manual you do
Damn so u gotta the roof off to bind it??
Just makes it easier in my opinion.
My receiver continues to flash orange. It doesn't go solid. I have same transmitter as you. Wtf. Where is the bind button? Is it the set button?
I failed to cover that in detail. You need to use a bind plug in the RX and perform a bind. Then right after do the calibration procedure.
@@StevesRC thanks. Use to be huge into RCS and just getting back into it. Thanks for the video!
is it the same as baja rey 1/10
