Hey, I also tried this game! He (Aliensrock) helped me find it. It is quite fun and I also got to level 19, dual mines and "batteries" are cool, dual mines tricked me into thinking that there's an "ultimine" somewhere, dual mines+ultimines are evil....
The game is pretty fun, but it needs a rulebook or something for discovered mines/structures so you can go back and read how they work. There were a few times I accidentally skipped the explanation page on a new mine/structure because I picked my ability first, and then didnt know how that new mine/structure worked, and got completely wrecked by it. So itd be nice to have some way to look at all the rules of known mines/structures in case you either forget how they work, or missed the explanation or something.

About your combo: you can make it more effective by using both the radar and hazard view at the same time. 2. About Ultimine: if you stumble upon a cluster of mines, immediately disable the center of a cluster - it's an Ultimate with 99.9% chance.

Tyler, I have a few challenges for you to take on. Sudden Death Probes - Until you get past the Ultimine Analysis Complete, you are not allowed to lose any Probes. Taking the Extra Probes allows you 3 hits. Blinded Challenge - You cannot lay a flag at any point in the run. That's simply it, not much else. Ultimate Difficulty - This challenge only is important any time there's Ultimines in the field. You cannot remove an Ultimine without using Disarms. (So using something like "Recycling" to clear the Ultimine is an immediate fail of the challenge. As such, I'd HIGHLY recommend taking Disarm when you get it, as you only get one free Disarm if you don't already have it when the Ultimines are around, so having multiple means you should have more Disarms to clear them)
I've played this through several times, even got a winning run with six probes left. Some advice I picked up on: 1. If a Probe hits a Structure, it will NOT get destroyed regardless of whether that square is covered by another Structure, Proximity Mine, or Cryo Mine. The Ultimine WILL hit you though, and prevent the square's trigger if it destroys your probe. 2. Keep your diagonals in mind: if a square has a + diagonally away from it, that must be either a Structure or a Trap Mine... and with Advanced Sensors, it can't be a Trap Mine. By that logic, a square that lacks diagonal + marks despite requiring one would always be a Trap Mine. 3. The Ultimine is always surrounded by other mines. Poke around with revealing tools, and if you find a suspicious clump, the center may just be an Ultimine, and disabling it a major benefit (you did pick up the Disarming tool, right?). My only other thought is that Dark Mines are a mistake. There's no logic to them, just "hope for the best!". Well, that and the fact that Endless Mode wasn't a thing when I played last... nice!

This game is kind of insane. Even in endless mode it keeps coming up with new mine types. I recently decided to create my own gaming youtube channel and thought this might be a fun short game to do for a first or second video but I got into endless mode and ended up taking over an hour for a single game. Beat 19 minefields before the mirror mines melted my brain entirely.
I regularly play minesweeper when I can’t decide what to do, so this game is going to eat up many hours of my time lol. I can always rely on you to find interesting new games for me to play. I’m still working on 100% completion of Mimic Logic, some of those dungeons are super hard though.
Well i dont know if you noticed but if you destroy a structure its plusses disappear, which meant you didn’t need to use armour a lot of times during the run as it was guaranteed to be the structure

@@gsas3012 as soon as there are lasers it's important to know if you've gotten them all or if you still need to be careful about being sniped, and lasers are introduced in like lvl 4 so imo just pick it up asap
It's always so frustrating when Tyler misses something obvious, like the fact that + symbols are removed when the structure is revealed so several times he was unsure but it was obvious where the structure was lol

Tyler, I have a few challenges for you to take on.
