TWO HOA s DEMAND PAY THEM! Put a lien on My house! My Lawyer shows I'm Owner r/MaliciousCompliance
It amazes me that these people are just like oh there's a secondary HOA okay we'll just pay them too no get a lawyer you signed nothing about a second HOA it was not there at closing of house it's a non-entity you owe them no money what the hell am I in Crazy Land
People with more money to burn and no brain cells 280.54 😂😂
Good to see another of the emperors loyal sons still has common sense. Lately so many stories are “I got screwed and took it or I was put through hell at work for years but now I have a better job elsewhere so it’s ok”. What happened to people having a spine?
Most of these stories you either say fake, or cringe at the audacity, but a 2nd HOA? If true there has to be more to this and no way it passes any legal smell test.
That story is extremely wholesome and I'm glad that the mother was getting her children culture and that she didn't turn out to be a Karen that she's just a good mom taking her kids to a museum where kids should be going and that the Ops in this story were knowledgeable and actually friendly enough to let these kids learn realistic things about what they were seeing rather than out of a tour book that was a great story
The first one, that was awesome! There aren’t many kids anymore that are interested in history. Great story! ❤
I was really expecting some sort of karen moment but nice to get these.
@@otbaht for sure
You should have also called your state's consumer protection dept or association and the attorney general, and told them about the co not honoring the warrantee. Yeah, no. The second HOA sounds like a scam and the lawyer should have taken them apart for not doing their due dilligence!
Louvre story: At least everyone was polite and no one was demanding anything. And SM and her kids learned a lot more about the exhibits than they would have simply from the book.
Call center story: I would have been telling the customers exactly what the scheme going on was. Rather than lying to the customers, they should have been on the sales dept. case and/or just plain redoing the warranty program, though you wouldn't be able to legally make it retroactive. Good job on calling OSHA though.
2nd HOA story: This should have been made abundantly clear in your closing documents when you purchased the home. But what the heck is the deal with a "master" HOA on top of the local? Is this in place of a property management company?
if the second hoa was in deed legal, Id assume theyd have to follow the same rules as the first hoa. meaning the homeowners would have to be informed of their existence prior to purchasing the house. You cant leave it out and then tell them when its too late to back out. usually that can make any fees, dues, liens non and void and even get the house of a hoa because of false pretenses.
hoas have gotten into hot water for leaving that out. Heck once heard a story where a OP didnt want to live in HOA. Looked for a house in a non hoa. Realitor found him one....turns out there was a hoa so op was screwed. but how did realitor not know the house was in hoa. they did research. turns out realitor was besties with hoa president. they tricked op into buying a house in hoa with the impression it wasnt....which is very illegal.
How did that story end?
This is exactly what I was thinking. How can it be binding if it’s nowhere in the paperwork n the none of the realtors had an idear? This just seems super shady. If there’s any kind of management company over the hoa wouldn’t any related fees be lumped in with their dues? I think it would be smart for the residents to get a lawyer to petition the removal of said second hoa. You don’t need a second set of specters looming over you in constant fear of losing your home over something they forgot to charge you for. It’s similar to being in an abusive relationship. 😬
That first story...there's nothing like a truly interested & appreciative audience enjoying getting to learn all the stuff that you know & love, too.
Now they're stacking up HOA's? God help us all!
So you're "happy" to pay TWO HOAs? That's some next level stupid. I need to start an HOA here because PT Barnum was right!
The last story: It might be a legitimate mistake from a legitimate HOA, but to be honest the whole thing sounds shady as F.
Loved the first story. Nice to hear something positive and friendly.
As for the HOA and Master HOA - still sounds like a scam. This would imply two separate and not necessarily co-operating bodies. Changing one would not necessarily change the other. I think I'd want to know which was responsible for what and to know it wasnt just a money making exercise for somebody(s). (Although, I'd probably move away. So many stories of dodgy HOAs)
Considering they waited 2.5 years to even inform the home owners they existed it is defiantly a scam. Big payout with the back due fees and late payment or they pick up the house for next to nothing and sell it to the next mark.
that last hoa story. Just WHAT is OP getting from that 2nd hoa that no one seems to know existed until they get backdue letters?
Are 2 hoas common? Heck I wouldn't live in an area with ONE hoa, let alone TWO.
have heard story 1 a few times before..the People at the Museum always make me smile with their kindness (yay no Karen)
Nice to have a wholesome story now and then. Helps us believe not all the world is coming apart. 😊
I love the first story. I do the same thing at times when I visit an aquarium I have been going to for over 44 years
Good morning everyone and RedWheel 😊
Hope everyone has a great day 😊
Hello RedWheel hope you are well. Thanks for sharing. Please stay safe.🏴😁😷👍. Have a great day and a wonderful week ahead everyone
On the first story, that was an awesome story.
Regarding HOAs! When looking for property the FIRST thing to ask the realtor concerning a potential property is if there is a HOA involved in any way, shape, or form! If "yes", say "Next"!
I absolutely love the museum story. It's been far too long since I've been to one...
I love the story on the louvre! How incredibly wholesome.
Isn't it required when a house goes up for listing for it to be shown in the documents if it's part of an hoa or not?
Having two hoA's is ridiculous. Are they going to institute a third in the future?...😂
The last one, that sounds shady as hell. 2 HOA’s? I’ve never heard of havin to pay 2 different HOA’s. You need to look further into that.
Yeah, especially if it was never disclosed during any point of the selling process. If they fail to disclose that then legally they are not part the HOA and thus don’t have to pay.
In large condo associations there usually are 2 hoa's. In Florida my dad lived in a small HOA for the homes on his street that had a separate HOA for the larger area, i.e. main roads guards etc. They had separate billing. Our condo association has one bill for both.
Don't HOAs need to be disclosed before signing? This being the case, the second HOA not only had no standing but is also attempting fraud and extortion
Can't believe anyone would join a HOA!
that's an amazing story at the Louvre!
I have visited the Louvre 3 times, and have only seen a minute part of it. I think it takes something like 100 visits to see the Louvre in its entirety. But what would have been even better, is if I had been there when OP was, so I could hear them tell the history of what we were seeing. I love this story, very wholesome and how lucky were those kids.
Good morning, all! Hope this finds you well, and are having a great day. Great stories today! I'll catch up with you again later!
Good morning, my friend! 🧡 🌻💜🤗✌️
Good morning, sorry I did not answer sooner! I was outside doing yardwork. Going back out, just came in for my watch so I don't miss RW. Catch you later! @@crimsonfirelily
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Nothing wrong with a nice wholesome story.
You're right. A wholesome story for once. I enjoyed it!
First story; Best one yet!!
I like the first story. There’s no need to be rude to anyone in public. (no reason)
I am not used to that. I actually smiled
Ah, kids. Not a hard choice between vikings or art... Really great story!
I am enjoying this because I love history
Good morning everyone
Last story it is a scam because you mentioned that several of your neighbors went through the same thing. Not knowing and getting those bills that they paid. All of them just paid and they received all of that extra money. You were the only one who got a lawyer and then they realized they couldn’t get away with it any longer. Who would want to deal with 2 HOA’s from these stories 1 is bad enough.
Back in 2007 my family and I went to Italy on a tour of all the big places. We went to the Vatican and it was supposed to be like the coldest day there was like 50° kind of weather for us in Montana. My brother who kind of has hairy legs anyway was wearing some basketball shorts. Everybody was looking at him and whispering and we were like what's going on? Everybody said that this was the coldest day of the year and they never saw anybody wearing shorts in this kind of weather. We just shrugged our shoulders and said this is nothing back home when we have negative 60°.
That's what the Paris story reminded me of.
I love that Louvre story! 😊
Yay Mr. Redwheel.
Call a lawyer because I'm sorry if there wasn't a secondary HOA in any of the paperwork that you signed when you bought the house you don't have to pay them a damn thing and as they never made themselves or their presence known know that's illegal they can't do that everything has to be on the table during the sale of the house did you sign anything for this other hoa? No so guess what? That's illegal get an effing lawyer
Who says the "Master HOA" is not a scam?!? How were they founded, if noone knows about it? Did the local HOA confirm their existence and plausability? Because why would you have another HOA in the first place?!? What do they provide, why can't this be done by (or through) the local HOA?
I am pretty sure they just forced their way into the neighborhood and now only backtrack in face of legal investigations that would confirm their scam!
First story!
First story: Amazing!! with a twist!
Last story: grrrrrr...
'Too wholesome'---->RedWheel 2024. LMAO 😂
As to the first story it was a nice turn out with a gratefull polite mother and children. As to the second story that unethical company wont last to long if they dont smarten up. As to the last story if they werent told when the closing on the house was done there shouldnt be sny back fees or future fees. That is another case of h o a aka horible obnoxious a holes being liars.
Where I live you cannot owe someone money without proof of a bill end of story but it is the states so I am not surprised.
The last one still seems like a scam.
Good video. I usually avoid videos over ten minutes but I took a chance.
Story number one you probably taught those two kids more than their school has taught them ever since they've been going to school😮
Two HOA's in one neighbourhood? That is a scam.
HOA dues and fines = Idiot tax
I don't have any sympathy for anyone involved in 1 HOA, let alone 2😂😂
#2@22:10 I wonder if that company still exists?
@RedWheel there is no such thing as "too wholesome" my friend ^^
You gotta be living in crazy land if you live anywhere that has an HOA.
It is a scam because the only allows for one Hoa on a property.
2 HOAs? One is bad enough but how do you get 2 over the same area?
Have you ever noticed that anytime someone gives a long-ass bit of information that is "important to the story" all it does is slow down the story? In writing, this is called info dumping, and it's annoying.
What are doing in my swamp Karen!
2 HOAs?????
So ....
The homeowners are in an HOA which in turn is a member in an HOA.
#1 That is bordering to being illegal and only is "allowed" in places where it is not forbidden ...
#2 The membership fee solely is on the shoulders of the local HOA and not on the homeowner.
#3 No bill = no payment "requested" = no payment required. There were actually no documents whatsoever that the bigger HOA was involved in any kind or capacity. That is why the bigger HOA backed off. They did not have a leg to crawl on, much less stand.
why buy a house in an area that is covered by two HOA's, people really need to read the fine print when they buy, ask pertinent questions and do their own online investigations, as you can be guaranteed that your money is being wasted by at least one of the HOA's
The last story, if the documents you signed to your house does not mention a second hoa, then a lawyer would get them to stop. It's a scam. You can't just pop up and say you own us money. Sounds like a b.s. story.
