Changed the coil and all 4 spark plugs but check engine light still on with traction light. Is this a larger problem the code now reads p0000 and p0304. The p0304 was there before changing out the coils and plugs

@@kashergraphix2738 ignore the traction light at this point sometimes the computer will turn it on to get your attention. If the 304 code keeps showing up concentrate on cylinder 4 could have a bad injector or wiring problem to the injector or coil, hopefully not an internal issue with lack of compression. The oooo code means that the computer was cleared recently. Please subscribe if you haven’t already.

Thank you for the video. Should i be unhooking the battery to rest the lights, or will the code update with lights still on?

The code might update but the old code will still be stored. It is better to erase what’s there with the scan tool or disconnecting the battery. Thanks for watching. Please subscribe if you haven’t already.

Thanks for the video, i have cylindre 3 misfire as well, but after checking with the electrician, i was told that the ignition coil is always branched and it wad very hot, and also the driver in memory responsible for generating signals to ignition coils is not working and need to be changed, i am a beginner driver, can you tell me what is the source of this problem, and if we change the CI (driver) it will not be birned again

@@abdou199409 swap the coils when the engine is cooled off. Your coil may be bad but you won’t know until you move it to a different place and the computer scan should show this.

@@scrapdaddysgarage5027 yes we swap it, it is the same problem, after disbranching all coils, and keeping only the one which the cylindre fails, the electrician showed me the memory signal was in the minus of the battery

Mine is a random misfire code after switching the clil packs around. First it was 1 and 4 so I switched coils with 3 and 2, the misfire is still there when but has a random code without specific cylinder. Notice it significantly more when the ac is turned on, thinking about changing the injectors

I would change the spark plugs first, a bad injector is possible but would usually show a code for the same cylinder. Thanks for watching. Please subscribe if you haven’t already

After swapping the coils the check engine light didn’t come back on. In this case nothing was wrong the check engine light could have been caused by excessive moisture, it had rained heavily a few days before. Spend the extra time diagnosing a problem before buying parts that you might not need. Thanks for watching.

You manipulated the coil wire connector with the swap. Check and clean the connectors. They can also be replaced.
