thanks man welcome aboard
That 8274 Warn winch on the Nissan is money my friend. 194,230,250 sixes have motor mounts straight across from each other, 292 has offset mounts and taller side plates for lifters/ pushrods 6in tall i think. Duel points are so you can have two different dwell settings for a broader spark curve over a broader RPM range.. The twin dash insterment cluster i believe is from a c3 vett. the one behind it should be for a square body truck. Congrats on the new property.
thanks for the info. i am looking forward to getting into the nissan... cause... why not... but i am not expecting much out of it
@@betweenthesharksgarage well if anything you could put the winch on a trailer or on the front of your blazer or just mounted to a receiver hitch so you can use it on all kinds of different things
@tombrown879 I’ve got one of those winches I’m working condition how much u think there worth
@@EddieSegars Different years and models of the 8274 go for different amounts. but used ones in good working condition bring somewhere between 350.00- 1,800.00. do research online to find which one you have. and go on some of the forums that cover these to get more accurate
pricing.
Get that stuff on-line fast. You may have a (ROI) return on investment, on this property. Remember peoples is watchens'.

it is the only fun way... welcome aboard!
You have one too.any riding mowers my friend.. 😁
Looks like Puddin’s Fab Shop’s old garage! Congrats man, gonna be a sweet place when you clear out a thing out two!
it does kinda.... his place was much tidier
@@betweenthesharksgarage
I see no cracks in the cinder block walls, I'd say you got a good structure. Just put a new roof on it and some paint on the walls..
lots of stuff worth saving especially the Datsun 4x4!
Amazing man! What a blessing that you could pull that off, can’t wait to watch more.
blessing indeed
Those 4 mounted wheels are American Vector mags. I had the very first set ever sold on my 66 fastback 427 Corvette.
thats a cool story
I love that old bead breaker and tire mounting stand. They are a great device for mounting and unmounting tires off steel wheels. I have never used one to work on an alloy wheel, but I'll bet it can be done. If that Chevy bellhousing will fit on the 6 banger, then it is most likely a 250.
Very KOOL Congratulations on the new Place looks like a interesting build
thanks defiantly an adventure
Well, I just tripped over your channel on my front page, glad I did. Subscribed toot sweet, lol. Looks like a LOT of projects in that ol' shop. Lawn tractors are on of my many jams, I like that red unit, is it a Murray or a Roper? Drop by S.K.I. sometime if ya need to take a breather. Cheers from Alberta!
Thanks dude. The two in the garage are Murray’s. I look forward to checking out your channel
That's gonna be a heck of a lot of work but well worth the effort.
Cool place!
That wrench on the wall looks cool and antique
That little Datsun truck could be a great asset, provided the chassis ladder is still in saveable condition. They are simple to work on, and super reliable if you take care of them. If the chassis is totally fubar, then you can simply part it out - there are bound to be people looking for 80's Datsun parts. Good luck with the shop, you're going to have loads of fun! 😀
We will dig into it. It seems to have been wrecked a little or clobbered by a tree a little but we will dig in. It looks like fun
The first dash may have been a '67/'68 Camaro , the second one is '73-'87 GM truck . There were header gaskets for both small and big block Chevy engines . '63 and newer 230 ci sixes had forged crankshafts in them .
That extra cab Nisan is looking like a good builder!
If it was a toyota maybe
Chevy* @@gregpace4676
you just got yourself a new subscriber, i'd love to go through all that stuff, saw a really cool snap on sign hanging on the wall up top. also check that random speaker, if it's a realistic mach one or two they sell for a 100 or so for parts even a single
thank man... it is pretty neat stuff- a lot left to go though and i gotta get some light in there. I'll check on the speaker for sure
I don't even know you but I'm excited for you. So many possibilities.
i appreciate that... i have no idea why i am excited about it myself ...but i am
Take big bites and keep chewing, awesome stuff to see. congratulations on the property and the leftover gold.
Solid advice thanks man
Neat exploration, the first rim you saw is a GM Rally wheel. The winch on the 85+ Nissan "Not a hard Body" 4X4 king cab is a Warn Winch, the rims are 6 lug. Be careful wandering around under those roof panels in the back shop. Good luck!!!
Looks like a 14” Rally wheel, Camaro’s use 14”, Corvettes used 15”. Those Rally wheels always looked good.
Edit: There’s another Rally wheel in front of those shelves, I wonder if there are any more?
It's a old bead breaker. You got all the stuff you need to do your tires!
Looks like you're up for the challenge. Lots of good junk to check out. After a big cleanup & sort-out I'm sure you'll find some gold. Be watching the progress. Billy J... Queensland, Australia.
Thanks man. I think you nailed it
The gauge cluster at 17:00 appears to be a first gen Camaro worth some money 👍 good find
That's a early to mid 80's nice'en/ Dotson. Please get it running i love these trucks and with that bumper and 8274 winch it is totally awesome!!
that G.M. Rally wheel hanging on the Wall is worth something you cannot find those Wheels plenty full anymore they are very hard to find and when you do find them you pay thru the nose for them especially if they are in good shape that one looks maybe like it is Chrome Plated I don't know that for sure
The trucks a Datsun 720 🤘🏻 a beast too, nice job on the purchase
Thanks 👍
That shop is awesome lots of potential buddy
I think so too!
Just subscribed, looking forward to seeing you turn this pigs ear into a silk purse. lol 😊
Thanks man it should be fun
What a great find!
thanks man
That truck looks like it could be an '80s 720 King Cab or something. Overall, th' place got potential. Plenty room an' stuff.
she'll turn into somethin
We still run a Mallory Dual Point in the river jet boat.
If you look it up the gm 230 made a few more horse power then the 250 but I havent had one 30 years so I dont recall the numbers.
thats interesting i have never heard that
Those wheels look like Vectors like on the General Lee from the Dukes of Hazzard.
they do acually, i need to dig in and see if they have any marks that would say they are American racing
Definitely vector wheels. $$$
Close but not quite, general lee had 10 spoke and black paint between them.
@@MitchJohnson-uu5uf The ones in the video have 10 spokes @17:35 and could easily be painted black in between. On a side note these are 15 inch and most of the ones from the show were 14 inch.
@@Spennyman10 yup looked right passed those only saw the other ones
That one set of instruments is corvette ('68-'72) the other looked to be out of a square body chevy ('73-later) not bad , once you find what's good it will make a nice workshop.
Those look like 67-68 Camaro gauges.
Along for the ride man 👍
Thanks man
Congratulations mate, it looks great with all the trees. Plenty of space for the new shark tank, with a couple of hoists.
What are your plans for the place?
thanks man... plan? whats that? lol gonna see if we can save the house and then go from there
Datsun Model 720 King Cab -Nice truck. I had 1 with a diesel engine(SD22)
Right on. I have not even looked the hood. It’s like a gift to myself when I get something done
That PL720 truck is worth some cash, not much, but a bit.
I would love to snag up a property like this. Happy for ya brother.
thanks man, right place right time basically... hope you find one soon
The booke shead container. Corvette dach . Stearing column, hedder wheels and rings. Chevelle malibu dash bumper
That truck could be bad ass some of them had the 8 spark plugs 4 bangers in them wicked little engines
I like that flag in the window and a lot of parts you got in. It’s pretty cool.
Thanks ma
Driveshaft loop, cool stuff in there!!
i didn t even clock that
The wheels are aftermarket real common on trucks and dressed up vans of the 70 and early 80. The guage cluster looks like a first gen Camaro or Corvette.
Power company might run new lines to there, but needs to be cleaned up probably and might have to pay some. Would be nice to have though.
always fun to go through a new place. but this one might be due for a few runs to the dump and the metal recyclers.
you are not kiddin
The winch on the Nissan and the cyclone wheels are your best fined
Love the truck
It’s pretty cool. I look forward to seeing it it will run
This was interesting. Lots of scrap metal there.
many many scrap metals
Cool man, I’d love to find a little property like that close to me! The tire machines and cabinets are a nice score plus a bunch of fun junk! Those old Datsun/Nissan’s were good trucks so you got some potential there. To get those lower rollers back on track just remove them from the garage door and put them in the tracks before reattaching them to the door. What’s the plan for the house, demo or complete renovation?
yea man, its less than a mile from my house, so when it came up I had to try for it and it worked out.
thats smart about the garage door... i ll do that. I have never owned a "real one". for the house gonna try to go the reno route. If i demo then where i am I would not be able to build any of it myself. by "repairing" i can kinda get away with it or play a little dumb. its really rough... but... so is everything i start on
Those turbines look like 80’s Buick Regal T Type wheels. The 6 lug chrome are 99 up Chevy GMC
the Datsun looks like an 80 to 83 cool little truck but they should be all manual like manual fuel pump manual choke and manual trans now what id look for on it would be if it had a weber carb thats a nice after market find if it has a Hitachi its a factory carb there also pretty nice for having a divorced transfer case the lug pattern is 6 lug chevy just like the older Toyotas if the old man did any engine way in it id love to see it these only came with a 2.2 or 2.4 inline 4
Hey feller you got a small fortune in parts in those buildings if you sell the parts youll recover a fair amount of your purchase cost
That Datsun you need to sell to Puddins Fab Shop!! 🤩
Let him know it’s there
First set guage early camaro..67 , 68 second set later maybe 70 71..
DUAL POINT DISTRIBUTOR TERRIFIC FIND
thanks for the info on the gauges, i was way off
Awesome dude
thanks man
Good day, Loving the content. The Nissan Bakkie would really come in handy though. If you gonna donate it please send it to me here in South Africa , papers and all. looks like a great project for my twin boys and myself.
The American way! Overextended! 😂 Congrats to you I'm being a real estate Mogul! Looks like you'll have no shortage of content now. 😆 Keep the videos coming.
Find a local scrapper in your neighborhood to come help you.
dude, i am gonna make the local scrappers day
Few lawnmowers there, fun lil project to use around the property
The datsun is awesome though
Tire balancer is a gem
How much you save balancing own tires. As 18.00 to 22.00.per tire at shops.
we will get into it... i hope it works...i am pretty excited to have it
I will tell you what you bought....
You bought yourself a big job lol
Seriously you got a good score.
The turbine Wheels would look pretty good on your van if they are the right bolt pattern.
As for the other wheels and car parts one thing I've learned over the years is everything will sell even if it's not for a lot of money it's still money back in your pocket. As for the little 1984ish Datsun 4x4 those aren't exactly my cup of tea but they are a great little truck that gets good gas milage and the market at least here in California is going up for vintage mini trucks from this era (as crazy as for me to think about it the truck is 40ish years old.
Are you planning to eventually move on to the property? Oris it going to be a turn and burn after some cleaning?
Regardless you definitely have content even if it is time lapse videos of you cleaning the place up, it will all help grow the channel.
big job indeed. the truck is rough... but... maybe we can save it. got to at least try right? As far as the property...i am gonna fix it up, repair the house, make it nice then make a decision. I don't like flipping anything, not really my style...never felt good about a quick buck
@@betweenthesharksgarage it's not a quick buck, think of it as you're getting reimbursed for your labor or your smarts.
That set of wheels that you called turbines are actually from a company called Vector. Those are the same rims that were used on the Dukes of Hazzard chargers and some Buick T Types and Grand Nationals. They’re worth a bit of coin.
thanks man good to know
Nope , they're not . They are American Racing wheels, the style was called Vector .
@@bobbrinkerhoff3592 thats what I meant
New sub so I don't know where you are located or how much space you have currently but I would grab anything easily stolen and put them in your shop, such as the distributors, gauge clusters, carbs, headers, valve covers, etc.
thanks for subscribing! not bad advice, this place was picked over once recently by the former owner and ransacked some time before that is all still left somehow
Honestly, that place is a goldmine. Alot of that little stuff is getting really hard to find. Definitely take your time picking through stuff. Especially in that back shed that the roof fell in on. There's money all over that place.
I am looking forwared to diggin in and cleaning out. I ll get some power over there and i will make a new video
@@betweenthesharksgarage if theres room, you might consider getting a shipping container to put a bunch of stuff in, that way you can clear the garage and that back shed out in a hurry. Then you can get the garage repaired and usable asap. After that you can pick through all the stuff you moved into the shipping container. That way you'll have a blank slate of sorts in the garage for a fresh start on setting it up and organizing things. A video or videos, on the old house would be cool too!😁
Cool
Two things you might have missed is you have two engine stands in there, one that has the six banger on it and one without an engine on it, can't have enough engine stands.
thats a good point, i have an engine at my current shop that i keep tripping over and didn't eben think of it
The Datsun 720 is a 80-84 with the bed, 85 was the last year but had different bed. 86 was the first year of the d21 hardbody
thanks for the info
I have the same Datsun. Most reliable, unstoppable 4x4 I’ve ever driven. Throw a battery in her, Clean the carb. It’ll fire
man i hope its that easy, it is cool
Are you in Florida? I feel like I saw this one while I was house shopping before🤔
Those are vectors those were made back in 78 if I recall Corvettes aftermarket
damn that looks like a 8274 winch on front of that truck !
It might just be ….
It is a Datsun King Cab. pre 1979.
I owned 2 of them
The Hard Body begain in 1980 models.
Hard bodys didnt start till late 85 early 86 ive owned over 8 720s 2 of them diesels this one is either 80 -82 maybe early 83 tail lights on bed switch in 83 and go to smooth bed side late 83 early 84
I would just get a leaf blower and a power washer and make that place nice in a day start at the roof and work my way down😂✌️
where are you located and how much for the winch
Datsun or Nissan 720 "Hard Body" truck is what your new shop truck looks to be. They have 6 lug wheels IIRC. Rust kills them up here, but they were decent little trucks. Man, you have bitten off a huge chunk work! That land should work to your advantage, though. Maybe the house will come together better than it's appearance indicates. Should the local government be cooperative, a much bigger shop could eventually be built. You're young with a very good work ethic. This is going to work well. I think your neighbor might be hunting deer or fowl out of season, though.
I know nothing about those trucks mechanically, i think they are neat... i I have watched enough of puddin's fab shop to know they have motors.... thats about the extent of it ....but it should be fun to tinker with
You may be between the Sharks, but I'm between the Sharts! LOL
That winch on the truck is worth some cash
You've already got a separate power drop back there. Looks like a good spot for a rental property.
thats good thinkin.... we are on the same page
That Nissan with that old school warn winch is worth a pretty penny !! Cash in hand if you wanna sell
copy that will let you know
Puddin’s Fab Shop would be all over that Datsun
How much for the 80s Nissan pl720 extended cab?
You need to go through that place and keep all those parts
and at least get the ones i dont need to folks that do
The rims in the stack look like late 70s to 80s dodge or Chrysler factory wheels. Could be wrong, though.
Those Datsun trucks can be worth a good amount of money if they look good enough
This one does not meet the criteria
Power99 sticker on the shelf, gotta be in Georgia
yea buddy
Congrats ya got something to keep you busy! lol
boy howdy
The manal tire changer is worth having
This place looks cool
thanks man
Great score, congrats on your purchase of the property.
Thank you!
Hey would like to know what happens to the truck in the front and if you’re not doing anything with it how much??
we ll see if we can get her running
I would love to have that Toyota I live in Wichita Kansas USA 🇺🇸
The gauge cluster in the shed with the police lights look like the gauge cluster from a 67 or 68 Camaro
that seems to be the consensus... with a few folks saying corvette. thanks man
Nice DDSpeedShop callout! Dan's a local hero, had the pleasure of hanging out with him a few times.
I think you've got the beginnings of a super rad, hot rod garage right there. The tire machines alone will probably pay for themselves before long, and there's probably a decent amount of scrap metal in the mowers, maybe even more money to the right guy.
thats cool to hear dan is a good dude... i like his channel a lot
67 68 rear camaro bumper and gauge cluster in the shed
How much for the Datsun as is im interested.
Same tire machine I use. Hard to find. All kinds of good stuff.
thanks man... i may have to reach out to you to figure out how to use it...or maybe make a how to for us novices lol
@@betweenthesharksgarage Look for the threaded cone that holds the wheel down. LOL the DD speed shop reference.
Howdy, I have the same balancing machine in my workshop. Feel free to ask if you want to know how to use it. This thing is a little gem.
good to know, havent used a balancer in 20 years and never this model , so i am gonna need the help
That shop would be right up my alley..great find! Shame you couldn't have gotten control of it before the thieving vermin showed up and stole stuff. No telling what cool stuff they stole. Anyway, congrats!😊
It sat for almost 20 years. Who knows how man times it’s been picked over
@betweenthesharksgarage that's true. No telling how many treasures walked out of there. It's still an awesome find!
That datsun 720 pickup isnt worth much but has potential
Well let's see on that other building that looked like a square body dash cluster behind the AKA Corvette one I saw a set of Chevy truck rallies I saw two or three Chevy steering columns so I'm pretty sure that a lot of that other stuff I couldn't see too well but I would say guy definitely worked on Chevy trucks and Chevys
sure seems like it... one day i ll get everything out and sort it
Datsun/Nissan 720 King Cab. 2x spark plugs per cylinder, napz engine 😁
Wait what. Two plugs per cylinder? Is it a spaceships… I can’t wait to get into this thing and fail
saddle soap and some leather polish saddle bags will be fine
