T2 is arguably the greatest sequel and the greatest action film ever made. Without Terminator 2, we wouldnt have any blockbuster film since. T2 along with Goodfellas, Silence of the Lambs and even Dances With Wolves set the bar pretty high for the 1990s. In hindsight, I cant stand the fact that Linda Hamilton didn't get nominated for Best Actress. Her Sarah Connor is one of the greatest, strongest, most iconic female characters in film history. I wish i knew why so many reactors are watching the extended special edition. The ending was a novelty and it should stay a novelty. Even James Cameron hates that happy ending in the future
I think Aliens would be on the same level of T2 in terms of "greatest sequel". There is also Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back for consideration. Terminator, Terminator 2, Alien and Aliens, Two franchises from Cameron that are iconic and hold up today. As for great 90s action films, I agree T2 set the bar high. But there were other great entries as well in addition to what you mentioned. Independence Day, Men in Black, Speed, Twister, to mention a few, that maintained that high bar for success and popularity. Also, I think the term Blockbuster for films started more in the 80s, with entries like Die Hard, Back to the Future, Lethal Weapon, Predator, Indiana Jones, Batman, Ghostbusters, and many others. Some of these movies left a lasting mark on pop culture. Glad to see more young(er) reactors discovering them.
"...The ending was a novelty and it should stay a novelty. Even James Cameron hates that happy ending in the future" Plus, with this ending it's not explained as to why Sarah and John aren't in a mental institution or in prison. I'm pretty sure they'd still be in the system and that the authorities wouldn't have forgotten about them, and everything they did.

Yes. A complete change from utter h**l on Earth to futuristic paradise is completely WRONG for this film and franchise. The ambiguous theatrical ending is perfect. Sarah's dialogue was shaved to perfection

Terminator 3 rise of the machines is the next one not as good but John is older no Sarah but there's a Terminatrix. And the war begins.
thumbs down because the woman on the left is annoying!
She's done nothing wrong
52:09 Are you seriously crying over him dying
Yes. Why not? Dyson is a great, complex character. Joe Morton is fantastic
Yeah how dare they get invested into a great character performance.
53:09 are you going to cry about this too he's shooting the cops
Consider reacting to (based on a true story) Hachi: A Dog's Tale
G 2009 ‧ Drama/Drama ‧ 1h 33m
Terrible casting for the future leader of the human resistance
Apparently this film was his first acting gig. Considering this he has done well, however I have to agree they could have casted better 🤓 we are just spectators not film critics so we are judging very carefully here 🤭
Terminator 3 has the worst John Connor Cast anyone can imagine.
Edward Furlong did well.
John (Edward Furlong) Connor would eat John (unimportant random Weiner Actor) Connor from T3 easily.
Ok then who would of did better to play a young John Conner Macaulay Culkin? Lol get real dude this wasa great cast for young John Conner
Edward Furlong was awesome and iconic! You don't know what you're talking about!
