You should try Chef Ernesto's Veggie Burgers (I know I go on about these things, but I still eat a box a day since I saw the first video! I never shopped at the Dollar Tree before that!) wrapped in bacon and placed on a cookie rack over parchment paper on a baking sheet! Cook at 400 for 20 minutes, or until bacon is crispy and potato patty is browned. The bacon grease fries it a bit so you get a little more crunch from the potato/green bean/corn/mush. I cover them in Tapatio hot sauce. Serve them with a fried egg. That stuff is great.
I like to mix up the kinds of base peppers for ABTs. Instead of just jalapenos, I will use the small, sweet peppers and New Mexico peppers. When you use the bigger pepper, it becomes a meal.

Ideally i would probably throw on some chicken or something to fulfill the charcoal. I could t justify using a chimney full just for an app

I was a bit leery the first time I made jalapeno poppers, because I'm not one to just stuff a whole jalapeno in my mouth. I generally thin slice them as an accent in salads and tacos and such. BUT... the first time I dared, I discovered that they mellow considerably when you stuff them and cook them like this. (I do think the cream cheese has something to do with it, too.) Yep, there's still a little heat, but not nearly enough to annoy even me, and it's overpowered by the flavors. YUM!
Those look pretty good. I love slow cooking meats on the grill or in the oven, it just adds something forcing heat in never gets. Forced food can ruin the best ingredients.

My dad buys these at the Neimens deli, if your not from the U.S. you might not know what Neimans is because I don't know if they have Neimans in other places, but most people will probably. I like to eat the bacon and lick out the cream cheese and my dad doesn't give me any because I don't eat the pepper.
