I would like to see how you dip jigs I like to know more techniques. For the two tone I do the weaving technique.
Sweet tie man!
I really enjoy watching all your videos keep up the good work. Do you know where I can source some reptile, snake or cat eyes?
Thanks! I’m not sure about the eyes. I only use the round pupil eyes.
Would be awesome to see how you paint your jisgs.
I think we need some video of you fishing with these jigs.
Nice jig ...I fish a black and charteus like that ...think and silver I will have to try 🙂
I want to see how you painted the jig
What would you suggest colors for walleye and trout that’s for the videos just learning
My favorite colors for trout are natural colors like olive, brown, black, and white. For walleye I like white or black with a bright tail. That’s what works best for me.
That's a really nice color! What type of vice do you use to ty yours jigs? The jaws look like they are high quality.
I use a Renzetti Traveler. I bought it for flies, but mostly tie jigs.
Thank you!!
What size chenille did you use.
Medium
Nice! No glue ?
None necessary. I’ve never had a jig fall apart.
thanks....
Do you find any use for the maribou butt you clip off or do you discard? Nice jig!!
Yep, I use the cut ends too. I actually have a video coming out soon where I show what I do with the cut feathers.
@@MustacheJigs Looking forward to seeing that
Do you have a video on this 2 tone jig head.
I don’t, but I’ll make one!
@@MustacheJigs Thanks
Do you happen to have jigs for sale?
I don’t. Check out my buddy James at M3jigs on Facebook. He’ll hook you up with some nice jigs.
Mustache....ya show us how you paint heads. I do two tone jigs with either a paint brush dipped into separate color and sprinkle on head or I use a tiny air brush gun. Either way works but I find myself being able to blend the colors more consistently with the air brush method. Who knows....you might do it totally different.
I use the paintbrush method
DO YOU SALE JIGS?
Yes. Mustachejigsandflies.com
@@MustacheJigs THANKS
That is a whole lot easier than doing a bitch weave for sure....Thanks for sharing.
