  • @HR-wd6cw
    @HR-wd6cw 2 года назад

    I'd say if you're not happy with the images you're getting out of your camera, it's not the camera, and probably not the lens (in most cases). It's you as a photographer and your composition most likely. I have seen some amazing photos come out of the most "Basic" camera kits, like a D3500 with the kit lens, and I've seen some lousy photos come out of expensive cameras because the photographers either lacked creativity or didn't know what they were doing. You as a photographer is going to be the biggest factor in how your photos end up. Camera technology only amounts to so much in the imaging process, but the bulk of what goes into a "good" image falls on you the photographer.
    (And my take on presets and preset packs -- if you're new to photo editing, they can help you learn photo editing... for example, how do I get a certain look, or if you find a look you like via a preset, you can start to deconstruct the preset and see what editing tools/sliders are doing what in the photo. But they are NOT a one-click and you're done in most cases. They are good starting point and learning tool. They can also be useful for speeding up your workflow especially if you have a certain look that you apply to all/most of your images. But they are not meant to be one-click edits and you're done, as I think some people -- especially beginners -- are lead to believe in some cases).

    I can totally see where you are going with the War World II Auschwitz comment and I think a lot of it has to do with the animals themselves because this photo gives them a very "human-like" quality where you can almost feel their emotions. Having that eye-contact really draws the viewers in to the photo.

  • @bzomeful
    @bzomeful 2 года назад

    Can you take amazing photos with cheap cameras? Of course! But how much more difficult will it be? Or how much more time would be needed setting up the photo and dealing with the body's settings? Or how many more shots would the person having to take of the subject because the cheaper body misses focus more often? Or how confident would the photographer be if they don't trust the body as much and have missed shots in the past? Etc, etc.
    Cheaper bodies will require way more patience and force the person to have way more self confidence

    • @CourtlandMiller1994
