Thank you so much for this! I was looking for good instructions on this kind of thing. I'm going to put some on the fish tank and the outside of the hamster cage.
Love your videos. I tried to click your link to Kmart but it doesn't work (maybe because the link is in the comments section)? I'm in Canada so not sure what brand of PVA glue is available
Can't be a huge help but LePage seem to be a big brand of PVA glue in Canada. That and others seem to be available on Amazon: www.amazon.ca/s/ref=nb_sb_noss/131-0393905-2692041?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=PVA+craft+glue And thank you for the comment about the videos. I've had a few really nice comments lately and the feedback is really appreciated.
Thanks for the great video. I was shocked to see it was 20 mins cause the time just flew by 😊 Do you have any tips for making stickers that shall be viewable from the outside?
HI, Thankyou for your comment. No real tips as the stickers should be equally viewable on both sides. The only thing to member (as in the video below) would be to reverse any lettering you are using! ruclips.net/video/D1Sg9rYuOtE/видео.html
@@Emi-iu8kx It depends a bit on the ambient temp. If it's a warm/hot day they a couple of hours should do. You will see it change and become less glossy as it dries.
TBH I've never tried. I suppose it MIGHT work but you would need to make sure it was stretched out quite firmly (I assume). I have had success with glass and with stiff packaging plastic. Do let us know how you get on if you try it!
do u know what is the sticker that is put on the windshield of the car, to indicate oil change, passes for government etc.? what is it call? i try to search it on YT to find the video explaining how to do that type of sticker for my marketing but cant find it.
I did use 3d fabric paint as an outliner and that worked well. www.glasspainting.co.uk/glass-painting-equipment/using-dimensional-fabric-paint-as-outliner I don't think you could use the fabric paint as a replacement for the peelable paint BUT you could try using it as colour combined with PVA glue and see if that would work. I've done similar using acrylic paints for the colour but never tried it with fabric paints: www.glasspainting.co.uk/glass-painting-projects/glass-painting-using-household-items
I doubt they will stay bright forever but I've had some on the window for a couple of year now and they are fine! If you are talking about the outliner for glass painting then we released a video about 2 weeks ago showing you how to do that. You'll find it in our videos list. Hope that helps.
Two really interesting suggestions neither which I have tried. I'm not 100% sure about alcohol in waterbased paints but I shall give them both a go when I next have the paints out. Thank you for the ideas.
Hi. What I am using there is a homemade clear thick glass paint (Basically a clear PVA/Elmers glue with a few drops of water). You can also buy pre-made clear glass paints such as the Gallery Glass Crystal clear which do the same job. Hope that helps.
Loved this, however, the background music was too loud and very distracting. Due to this loud background music I had a hard time finishing watching the video.
Thanks for commenting. Your point is valid. I stopped using music in the videos a year or so ago. I will redo the old ones without the music as I get time.
It certainly would. There is a video on it here: ruclips.net/video/5r0jwDNGd78/видео.html and I have just completed a new one which should be online within 24 hours. Hope that helps.
That's a good idea. You'll find the finish and transparency isn't quite as good as the "proper" paint but the technique is the same so perfect for practice. If you go to the community page ( ruclips.net/user/splotters1265community ) there an image I've just put up of a dragon made with homemade outliner and paints.
Thanks for the comment... agree about the music. We no longer use it (last couple of years) and are gradually remaking the older videos in HD without it. Here's a video about the piping bag ruclips.net/video/Ksei85DSQSM/видео.html . Hope it helps.
Good Question! I'm not a chemist but I assume it has the same sort of stuff in it as PVA glue. If you take a look at our "How to make your own Peelable Glass Paint." video you will see that is what we use as a base. ruclips.net/video/5r0jwDNGd78/видео.html (Hope that helps. Not really sure I've answered the question !)
I think their school glue is a PVA but best to test it first. Having said that you should be able to get an unbranded version much cheaper. I don't know which country you are in but I'm in the UK and use an own brand from Wilko.. In the US Kmart seem to sell a resonably priced one www.kmart.com.au/product/250ml-pva-glue/797311
My nana made one of these for me and it’s so beautiful! I watched your video in search of how to stick it on the window and it helped me so much!
💛

You are welcome, glad you found it useful (and I hope the hamster appreciates it!).
thank you for sharing your valuable knowledge :)
Thank you.
Impressive. Would you give links to purchase your outlines & paints?
Thanks for sharing,
Do you find the gallery glass shrinks away from the edge a little or is it me .
very nice and informative
Glad you enjoyed it.
EXCELENTE !!! MUCHAS GRACIAS !!!!
Thank you.
Wow, I was planning to try Window Stickers and I am amazed how beautiful yours are !!! I am saving your videos !!
Thank you Celine.
I will try this at home. Nice content we can learn from you. Keep it up. God bless you
Thank you and happy crafting.

Is it basically puffy paint?
Thanks for the great video.

Once completely dry put warm water on it to soften the paint. It helps it come off.
Which kind of glass colours should I use? Does it work on water based ones like fevicryl?
The "flowing" waterbased paints won't really work. It needs to be one of the thicker waterbased ones (e.g. Gallery Glass, Arti-Stick etc.).
Do you have to wait for the black outline to dry or not??
Yes you do.
@@GlassPainting How long do i have to wait?

Can we use cling wrap?

Excellent work. Will it stay bright or in time the colors will fade. Sir do you have any idea hoe to make 3D outliners out of paint thanks

Any tips on how to remove them from a window? Seems impossible after so many years...
I used a paint scrapper, one of the ones with a blad in it.
Hope that helps.
What kind of outliner did you use for this? Thanks :)
The particular outliner used in this video was "Plaid Gallery Glass Outliner". Having said that any of the peelable outliners should be fine.
Would’t a spray of alcohol or burst of a heat gun get rid of the bubbles?
Two really interesting suggestions neither which I have tried. I'm not 100% sure about alcohol in waterbased paints but I shall give them both a go when I next have the paints out. Thank you for the ideas.
What recipe did you use for homemade glass paint?
Thank you. You will find full details here:
