@@QueenieBlack I’d like to bet you were too good for you him. My husband of 25 years passed away two days after Christmas last year. You made me happy. Your art work here is classic and real, “see”. Love the classical music, as well! 👍👍
This is absolutely gorgeous and it is so my aesthetic. I love the whole you know like dark, especially Victorian goth I love it and it’s definitely my type of vibe and it’s so gorgeous.
That is not going to be waterproof. So you need to seal it with something. (Don’t ask me how I know 😔). You can also use Mod Podge. It will dry completely clear. Use the gloss so it will be shiny. HOWEVER on occasion Mod Podge can get in its feelings and dry weird and tacky and you still have to seal it. I am in love with this piece. The design and color choices are amazing!
Hi I just found you. I think your method is much easier & relaxing. I don't like to fight with projects which the other methods are using hard cord tools. That's not relaxing to ME! THATS WORK OR I FEEL LIKE I'M WORKING. Please don't get me wrong I use tools for my jewelry but I'm not fighting with them. It's very therapeutic 😌 THANK YOU FOR YOUR VIDEOS!!!
This looks so much better than a lot of the kindergarten looking faux stained glass tutorials I've seen and you've come up with a budget friendly version, yay! I've got 2 over the door windows I'm going to try after I priced real stained glass by a professional (the more detail, the more expensive 😱. I had done some real stained glass years ago, but there aren't any suppliers near me and I don't want to buy all the tools and stuff you need... again, at this point in my life all in one go. Just figured this would be doable and they're up high and probably no one will notice they're fakes anyway.
If you spray your painting when you are done with a fine spray of alcohol, it gets rid of the bubbles. You can also dip a toothpick in alcohol and pop the big bubbles with that.
1:40 "where the bats ears are" ... :o I totally didn't notice the bats before, hahaha. Thanks for the tutorial, I want to make some "stained glass" christmas ornaments
im sure a lot of other things could work :D i was trying to make something that was as cheap as possible for the quarantine since we cant get out :D haha
@@QueenieBlack I think it looks amazing with the acrylic, but I have a few bottles of alcohol ink that have been sitting around and I didn't know what to use them for. This might be the project!
Beautiful design. If one uses the Plaid liquid glass as well as the liquid lead, creations become pliable and can be transferred (and adhere) to pretty much any clean glass or mirrored surface. I still have roses I made for my nan's mirror more than 20 years ago. I'm sure your regular customers would love the opportunity to buy these. Much love 🖤.
This is gorgeous-- like everything you do! I had a student's GRANDFATHER make me a casket shelf for being so sweet to his granddaughter. How sweet and accepting; it is gorgeous. I thought of your casket lining video.
If you place a light box for diamond paint underneath it, you don't have to keep lifting the object to see if you have forgotten any small cracks or spots.
It's gorgeous!!! I bought oil based sharpies that I've currently working on now. My regular sharpies and regular cheap markers left streaks. But i didn't realize i could just add clear glue to acrylic paint that i already have a ton of!!! I'll purchase clear glue for the next one and see if it turns out more brilliant colors as yours! Thank you ⚘💜⚘💜⚘💜⚘
Wow thanks so much for making this! I've been wondering about making faux stained glass for ages - this is definitely the most accessible method I've seen!
Omg!!! That is stunning!!! I am definitely going to try and find a similar pattern!! This Scorpio, creepy Halloween Baby gives you two thumbs up/10 on 10 on this gorgeous, creepy Victorian masterpiece!!
hi. thank you for checking in on me. my life has turned upside down with my husband cheating on me and abandoning me a year 1/2 ago. still waiting for the divorce to go finish and hopefully, i'll be able to get back into doing this. in the meantime, im still semi-active on Instagram and tik tok to keep my spirits up and working on my business.
I’m glad you’re working to keep your spirits up-that is important! I remember a video you had posted to lift up your views spirits. It made an impact and I still think back on it. I hope my post will do the same. You are special and have a lot to share and offer to others.
OK, so after the project is finished, how can you protect the design? Can u coat it with another medium? I find that sometimes certain areas are still tacky after a month. It's easy to fix, but it would be great if you can recommend something that will harden the surface?
Don't know if you're still active, but thank you for helping me through some of my lowest moments ever

I did one and I used black puffy paint for the lead lines! Came out great! The stained glass you made in this video is gorgeousssss
Add a smidgeon of cornstarch to the glue and black paint to thicken it up.
GIRL! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?! I’ve missed you!! 😭😭
BRI i’m sorry 😭😭😭 i got burnt out on here cause the videos are a lot of work. i’m on instagram stories all the time atm.

Extremely beautiful and creative. Also, I love bats. Thank you for inspiring me.

I can't wait to try this! I wonder if it would work using alcohol ink instead of the acrylic, since alcohol inks are more translucent.

Oh, and the cocktail sticks can be used to pop any bubbles in the glass while it's still wet.
thanks 😊 i was just trying this method to see how it works and it still has held up really nice years later.

Could you paint the colors on the backside/ flat part of the glass to avoid so much detail work? Or do you think that wouldn't look good?
i thought about doing that too, but i dont think it would look as 'authentic' as this does.
Wondering if one can also use epoxy resin mixed with paint? Thanks for the tutorial!
Absolutely gorgeous ❤
Stunning! Now I wanna try this!!

ive had it hanging in the window for years now and it hasnt melted :)

Hi can you post an update about how it lasted in the sun? :)
I second this!!
Queenie, does the liquid lead have a smell? I have migraines so I need low smell craft projects :)
no its totally non toxic! i have problems with things too and had zero issues :)
OMG this is a-door-a-bell just like you :)

hmm when i finsihed , it all hardened nicely. its still in tact two years later :)
Beautiful but the volume is difficult to hear. I have phone up all the way and barely hear it so put it on my TV and same issue. Wonder why

no! its still just as fabulous and bright as when i made this :)
