Why do you call it "All Terrained Scout Transport" when you can hear it walking a mile away and their balance are like a newborn deer lol
+TheHawk It does not say "quiet spy transport"
+TheHawk because creed
+merijn baggerman It would take a Tactical Genius to- CREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED!
They were also used to provide flank security for the AT-AT's.
Speed
A video on all the "wings" is in order, I believe.
+Shawn Kroner Guess what I recorded last night... ;)
Star Wars Minute Yay!
+Star Wars Minute When will it be uploaded though?
Dude perfect guess
A newer AT variant was seen in “The Last Jedi”, the AT-M8 or “All-Terrain Megaton Eight” was named after its supposedly eight megaton back laser. It boasted a much larger size than its AT-AT predecessor and more armor, resulting in a bulkier, almost gorilla-like appearance. It was used by the First Order against the Resistance.
(at M6)
All terrain megacaliber six
All terrain Mega caliber six, or AT-M6
Technically they're all canon, since they all have cannons.
Really did you really have to pull that card out
You won the Internet for the day
How jocular!
+Hippy Jim You just blasted the internet.
+Hippy Jim phone's ringin, Dude
I would love to see the AT-AHT in battlefront or in a new star wars movie
Idk I don't feel it would fit in well maybe like the at dp or another one of those
maybe in battelfront 2
I read that as AT-AssHat
Gun X Umbrella second favorite to AT-AP
I remember reading about an AT walker used on an Imperial assault on the Yavin IV jedi temple that used repulsor lift system instead of legs to bypass the trees.
I think you are talking about the AT-ACT, but it was on scariff not on Yavin IV
"Remember that old movie called Empire Strikes Back? With those walker things, on a snow planet-?" -Spider-Man
I love these types of videos! I can always go back to these when I'm curious about Walkers, TIE fighters, etc
Could you do a comprehensive video about the imperial military?
+Austin Greene Cool idea :)
+Star Wars Explained you should make a video talking about the different types of blasters
"Should we use tanks?" "Nah, I want armored dogs with lasers"
AT-ACT (All Terain Armoured Cargo Transport, which will be in Rogue One) is not on here
You aren't wrong about that.
This was made before the name was confirmed.
Joshua Cooper - Are you talking about that tank on Jeddha?
No, the ones in the Scarif. The AT-AT's missing the lasers on the 'chin' and with a sandy brown colored cargo bay.
He's right, and somewhere else in the comments someone mentioned that the MT-AT from legends was also left out
Where's the AT-MT?
Yeah, if I remember right, that's the ant looking one. That was a neat walker.
my thought exactly.
Indeed, I was just thinking that.
I believe it was called the MT-AT, which stood for Mountain terrain, I guess they excluded it because of that but still, they should of kept it.
suppose to be at-at + spider= spider armor transport?
I'm disappointed that you didn't explain a bit more about my boy the AT-XT.😣
Very much same (Clone Wars Game FTW), as this Bad Boy packs quite the punch and is wayy cheaper than an AT-RT
02:04 hey, this image is from Star Wars Commander!
Love Star Wars Minute! Keep the show coming!
Could you do a video on types of guns in SW? Like, ion cannons, turbo lasers, etc. and the characteristics of each type. Thanks, nice channel!
what about the walkers that were in the back of the stormtrooper assembly area in the force awakens?
+RileyTVS Force awakens doesn't count as a Star Wars film just a Disney parody.
+Chris Karapetyan shut up
Ivan Ivanovsky Ivanovich I don't really hate it because it's new.
They were probably not walkers, or they were, but they were already shown on the list.
because of what happened to Han solo. when Harrison ford himself made it clear if he played that character again that he wanted him killed off

You are growing fast! Congrats to 120 000 subs! I have been here since 60,000
Great video u deserve way more sub u do research for this stuff and it's really cool for big Star Wars fans
Um... When you said you would start with the canon models, - when was the Elite AT AT in canon, may I ask?
Star Wars Commander. Yes, mobile games are canon.
Carolus Magnus ok thanks :)
I know you commented this ages ago but wasn’t it in the last Jedi
@@oscarpersaud7650 no.. those are called
- AT-M6
- Gorilla Walkers
- First Order Heavy Walkers
(yes they are all part of the same model)
Could you start putting the end of video playlists links in the video description for mobile viewers? It'd be greatly appreciated I'm sure ☺️
+Rabbiddog333 Oh I sure meant to! Sorry! It's also in a card, that should work for mobile :)
It doesnt
+Star Wars Minute ronhar kim please
+Adam Niccum who is ronhar Kim
The things work now so you now
I love your channel so much (And All The Other SW Channels But Eh) Still Love Your Channel So Much!!!
Another slamming classic, Star Wars Minute.
1:45 We'll be fine as long as we have giant robot camels
"If they don't have giant robot camels" If it's the family guy reference your talking about (it was said by the rebels)
+Elliot Wilson "ah Jim robot camels"
.
Chicken Walker
Camel Walker
Quad Walker
Walker from command and conquer 4 called Crawlers and Mammoth MK 2
I called AT-AT's Turtle Walkers because of how slow they were and also the strong shell they had lol
Hi Alex, could you do a video on all the 'kingdoms' or colony's of star wars, I would love to hear more about the people of each planet, the economy of each planet, and the terrain/architecture of each planet. Thanks!
I can't believe there are so many unique At walkers it so amazing.
For the next video can u do a video about all type of Imperial troops for legends, games, and movies that have been shown plz
Which was the AT-AT variant used at Scarif?
JoJo4514 That was the AT-ACT. It was used to transport cargo in its hull, some of which you could see were empty during the battle of Scarif.
AT-ACT
AT&T
The AT-ACT, The all terrain armored cargo transport.
AT-M6.
So the AT-DP was basically the Star Wars version of the Renault FT?
Yeah i think so.
Two crew, singular cannon, and early war; yup, exact same thing
Lord Vegas yeah but i think the AT-DP was more reliable.
Part-Time Soldier Duranium will always be more reliable than iron-based alloy
Lord Vegas I guess the AT-DP Engine is also a little bit stronger than the renaults tractor engine :)
Dude, thanks so much for this video!
Love these series!
What about the AT-MT????
+Rhodri Davies The MT-AT is a walker, but it's Mountain Terrain, not All Terrain :P
Fair enough. Would be nice to see a vid based on the MT-AT, or any other not All Terrain walkers then ;-)
+Taylor Bissett check out fact free
What about the walker you saw crawling over the surface of Starkiller base?
need name
I think we should call it Crawly McCrawlface
+Joshua Walters or shoots mcshootface
+Anonymous User shooty mcshootface*
Or Crawly McShootface?
love your vids alex!!
Awesome video! Thanks!
I got a question if anyone knows the answer to it.
I've seen that the Star Wars universe has tanks, aircraft, spacecraft, and walkers and what not.
But do they have any water Navy references or anything? They may not be needed anymore but i'm just curious if they have anything for the ocean planets or what not.
Well, their starships are commonly referred to as their navy. But some sea ships exist I think, but most are just spacecraft that have been modified
They do in SWTCW season 4 it shows the Republic and CIS under water forces.
there is an at-at version developed for water-/swumpplanets
TS FS
Well yeah, but I mean in the normal sense, you know like Battleships and Destroyers.
I would find a use for it on planets that aren't friendly to starships,if they have lots of water of course.
Say if the Rebels put up an anti-starship gun or whatever in the middle of the ocean,it would be almost impossible for them to destroy it VIA a starship,so they would take out their wet navy ships for that.
Thats at least how I picture a Sci-Fi universe still using Wet Navy ships.
TheCommunistDragon51 they do but nothing like bigass naval battleships/destroyers but rather they were like speeders/fighters but used for water. There were also walkers used for them but never truly specified as there were many battles that takes place under water other than mon calamari and possibly naboo.
you forget the AT ACT from star wars rouge one
It hadn't been revealed back when this video was made. Might do an update next year.
Trevin jayasinghe you are an idiot
Trevin jayasinghe i want say that. i'm not talk english
Trevin jayasinghe idiot rogue not rouge
Trevin jayasinghe it wasn't out yet
I left most of my interest for Star Wars behind when I left my teens, but I do like all the imperial gear and trooper variants. Very cool.
When shall you cover star destroyers?I understand there isn't that many, up to five, but I'd love to see them mentioned here unless I missed something. BTW, nice work on this vid and effing awesome work with the tie fighters vid!
the AT-ST Mk III looks like a early ED-209 prototype from RoboCop XD
Yes it does
is thier any variants of the turbo tank seen in episode 3 revenge of the sith : at the battle of kashyyk? you know that tank with like 8? maybe 16 wheels? lol
Talking about the Republic Havw-A6 Juggernaut
Great video!
I love how the AT-RT let them work Calvary into the Grand Army. So cool!
Wasnt there some kind of imperial walker type vehicle which was even larger and almost looked like an atte but with larger legs.
Yeah it was supposed to be used but never made it and was Gonna be made into a toy never happened either
Yeah it was supposed to be used but never made it and was Gonna be made into a toy never happened either
I wonder if the ATAT Elite is the model of the ATAT seen in the rogue one trailer...
No, the one in the rouge one trailer is an AT- ACT ( all-terrain armoured cargo transport )
Damn...
it was very informative and detailed
thanks! great vid!
AT-TE FTW
Yes
I personally prefer the AT-AT, But the AT-TE is still hardcore.
Not that anyone cares about my opinion or anything.... 😢
+Louie Kite it's ok buddy, take a deep breath.
David B. Thanks man, i needed that.
hell yeah!
What about the AT XT
+Tyler Hodges 3:27
+Star Wars Explained thanks I missed that, it was my favorite so surprised I missed it
+Tyler Hodges it's sad it's considered legend now, I remember when I played as an AT-XP in that gamecube clone wars game
Tyler Hodges ath-at too
AWSOME LIST!!!!!!I LOVE IT
I love this kind of videos, and i think you should make a video about the "Wing" Series. I mean X-Wing, Y-Wing, V-Wing, etc...
+Octavio Martinez
or maybe Starfighters
Spider-Man should take care of it!!
Ant-Man: "MMMMUUUUURRRRR..."
#TeamIronMan
+Darth Vader #Imposter
+Darth Vader I am the real Vader
+Darth Vader #TeamCap
I feel like the legends universe just keep throwing shit at the wall hoping some would stick. The amount of TIE and walker variants wouldn't be realistic to use for the galactic empire as it would be expensive to tool a bunch of assembly lines for every single different variant and train people for each. Why did the US win WW2 and not Germany? Because they had a few vehicles and weapons that were jack of all trades and CRANKED them out while Germany was wasting money on research, tooling assembly lines, and training crews instead.
well the allied victory in ww2 has more to do with the vast disparity in industrial capacity and the fact that they were fighting three of the worlds superpowers.
As for the diversity of imperial vehicles, its not as bad as it looks. All the TIE's had interchangeable parts so production wouldn't be too difficult If you actually look into it, most military's have a huge array of different vehicles. Don't get me wrong, I think the empire has too much (at least as far as the ground vehicles are concerned) but having lots of different types of vehicles is a pretty common thing specially when you don't have to worry to much about logistics (they tend to apply a "if it is not broken, don't fix it" policy)
Synystr7 is
That was a cool video .And watching it ,Remind me why like the old Star Wars ;Battlefront games ,Where as a Rebel i would steal a AT-ST on the Battle of Hoth and doing in a GTA way .So it made a more fun game ,But it was not easy with StormTroopers all round the area where the would spawn .But it made the Battle of Hoth go a different way .
Have you done a Star Wars Minute on the Imperial Ruling Council and/or Grand Vizier?
Why would a military want vehicles with legs rather than wheels or tracks? The entire battle of Hoth makes no sense. Why are they using those stupid speeders? Just fly a couple Y-Wings around to their flank and destroy em with bombs. But also why not just destroy the shield generator from orbit in your capital ships?
I don't think they even had any Y wings left on hoth
yeah those stupid walkers could one shot most armored vehicles in our world
joeskis in the movie one of the admirals said there was a shield generator and it prevented the empire from bombing runs
joeskis and walkers are used because they can walk on every terrain
Well designed legs are viable on more different terrains than tracks. The snowspeeders were used because Y-wings etc. don't operate well in those temperatures and were in too short supply to modify for use on one planet. Plus anything short of Proton bombs (also in very short supply for the rebellion) wouldn't have been able to penetrate the AT-AT armour plating anyway. Finally, the shield generator was protected from orbital bobmardment by its own shield, along with the rest of Echo Base.
Sigh, why does sw commander have to be canon 😒
Cringe!
why not there's some good stuff
+Kristin Resch ...
Trust me when I say there were worst things in legends that were canon (Giant Space Hornets, Hutt Jedi, The Crystal Star)
haha yes very cringeworthy!! way more cringey than anything else in the world!!
wait it is ?
Loving the law on the variants of vehicles and troops!
I wish there were more info on the AT-OT out there- it's pretty slept on.
The AT-AT ion cannon is literally just the classic AT-AT toy with the butt cut off and the turbolaser from the death star playset strapped on!
You could probably make one at home, but those are some expensive toys to cut up
Galactic Empire factory officer: So how many All terrain vehicles do you want? Palpatine: Yes.
moast of these I have never seen !
Can you do one on Emperor Vitiate/Valkorion? I know his history is constantly updating (specifically every month), but he definitely has an extensive backstory.
I know this video came out before this AT was made but there's also the AT-ACT (All terrain armored cargo transport) it was used on Scarif and was bigger than an AT-AT and had a cargo area in side and it was used by the galactic empire
nice Video :)
No MT-AT. It was in the older Essential Star Wars vehicles books.
star wars minute, can you do a video about the tie advanced v1?
like it's history, owners, and comparison to the tie advanced x1.
Awesome video, you many AT vehicles I'd never heard of. But where is the AT-MT?
this is so cool!!!!!!
There are also the odd AT-AT looking things in TFA when Hux is dishing out his roasts to the republic before he orders them to fire starkiller base.
I like how for the elite AT-AT and the AT-MP he used the Star Wars commander image
Will you do a video for the non all terrain walkers?
At 1:25 if you turn on captions he talks about a Self Propelled Heavy Artillery Turbolaser that was a 12 legged walking tank and a "turtle tank" that's part tank and starfighter
OH and how could I forget, maybe one on one of my favorite sith, Darth Marr. If there is enough information on him for a whole video.
2:05 so that's why in the battle of hoth there is a shot of a at at firing up close to the head and it has darker armour than the other ones so the elite at at is the one General veers was on
can you do a video on the all separatists vehicles (i really want to see the aat)
if you haven't already could you do one about alternative walkers and heavy ground vehicles like the separatist octuparra if I got the name right
Have you done a video on every republic vehicle (clone wars)
What I love about the AT-TE is that for most people I believe it would perform better than the AT-AT model like a sucessor to it instead of a predecessor, maybe due to the fact it was designed later than the AT-AT but I'm fine with that.
I made a lego custom at-at model called the at-md (all terrain miniature destroyer) which is just slightly smaller than the the at-at but also more armored, has much more attack power, and is quicker. It is equipped with a very powerful turret cannon on top with a 360 degrees rotation, an automatic quad shooter on the left, and a long-ranged blaster on the right. It also has four cannons on the face. Also, it actually has more space for minifigs than the normal lego at-at
nice video
Still miss the Commander app/game this made first hand control of walkers really lifelike
could you do a complete history of the mandalorians?
I would love to see a video about all of the X-Wing variants.
annnnnnnnd they made it
Could you do a video about The New Rebulic army or fleet?Legends
what about the SP MAT imperial artillery in empire at war?
My favourites are the AT-TE, and the AT-RT. And although it doesn't really count, those mobile base walkers from Attack of the Clones. Those were fucking awesome.
plz make a video of all republic starship variants
Please, make video about Desann from JK II Jedi Outcast.
the AT-DP looks a lot like the one of the AT-ST pre production sketches seen in The Empire Strikes Back sketchbook
You should do something about World Devastators.
You should do another video with more information since I'm commenting this in 2017, and add the AT-ACT. I have no idea what that stands for, but all I know is it's a design of the AT-AT, but it's cargo. You only see it in STAR WARS ROUGE ONE with yellow pads on the side
Could you please do all smuggler/bounty hunter ships? Thanks if you do
can you please do a history video about Tarfful he is my favorite character and I would like to know more about him.
Do a video on the Self Propelled Heavy Artillery :)
What about a video on all trade federation star ships and fighters?
I love how the At-AT Ion Cannon literally looks like they had left over AT-ATs, some glue, and some big GI Joe guns
you should do a video about the sandcrawlers
I like how some of the vehicles here are from Star Wars commander mobile game, I didn't know these were cannon
