I love your channel so much
The at he is my favourite and the at kt is a close second for me
I would like to see a video about every single Star destroyer
My favourite at walker is at-st
My favorite is the AT-M6
"Hey, engineers, how are we supposed to make this walker more powerful in the field?"
"Paint it a darker grey."
It should be painted red
Paint it black.
Don’t forget the ikea blue panels
@@Enceladus_editsno other colors, i want it painted black.
I love the AT-ST and RT. They have a very memorable design, and I loved playing as them in both EA Battlefront games.
same lol
Ummmmm actually……
There’s 4 Star Wars battlefront games🤓👆
@@aandby4887 he was talking abt the ea battlefront games?
@@Toxic4abel I KNEW SOMEONE WOULD BRING UP “it’s the EA games”
@@aandby4887 what do ya expect
Most of these were in Star Wars commander.. gone but never forgotten 😞
🫡
I miss that game too
Fr, I played it as a kid all the time. That message I got on vacation changed my life
Rip Star Wars commanders. I’ll miss it 😢
the references to that one obscure mobile that played like Clash of Clans brought back sooooo much nostalgia. Legitimately thank you so much!
Star wars commander wasn't it?
something like that
Star wars commander was the best game
I like to imagine that when Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi released in Japan, a young Hideo Kojima was in the theater furiously scribbling down sketches for what would become the various Metal Gear mechs.
For some reason i have great Star Wars Commander (mobile game) flashbacks
Same
There is no reason given to why the game was shut down, I am salty about it
@@thelettera582 me too
The only missed ones I can think of is the AT-MT which is an imperial spider-like walker, the First order walker with the big frontal arm claw, pretty much the AT-RC successor. There's also the Espo walker and an unarmed construction variant of the AT-TE.
Tbf the AT-MT is just wacky
@@Dodge_this It is wacky, but I do think its cool. Pretty unique as well.
and technically that heavy laser artillery the republic used, as it had AT in it's name I believe
Might have been the AT-SPHA
There’s one in the old republic game
my favorite is the M-6 for its cool design and peak firepower, good video Red Five!
The AT-DT is pretty cool design. Played the WWI vibe pretty well. Just a cannon on a mobile platform with a blash shield
It's actually WWII design, it's legit just a flugzeug abwerekanone 8.8 cm on an AT-ST chassis
@@yoface2537 I figured they were taking more inspiration from wwi with the whole trench combat but either way its pretty cool looking
First scene you show, the At-At intro to us…. Might be my favorite Star Wars moment ever.
11:08 wait a second, that's just a FlaK 88
The Republic Walkers like the AT-TE, AT-AP, AT-XT, and AT-RT are definitely my favorite over the Empire and First Order AT Walkers. I just love the unique designs and functions of them compared to the Imperial or First Order ones that tend to be more redundant and could be replaced by similar walkers.
But I do like some of the Imperial ones like the AT-MP, AT-AA, and AT-ST.
Here is the thing most people don't know about the At,At.When the snow speeder used the cable to bring it down that was the only time it was done.
I love the AT-TE
1:44 I knew you were gonna use an image from Star Wars: Commander... God i miss that game...
I’ve always loved the AT-TE. One of the coolest out there in my opinion
Nobody talking about how bro called the AT-ST a "OG Chicken Walker"?
AT-TE is still my favourite and probably the best of the list
The AT-TE was always my favorite as a kid, and it still is. Something about how they look is so cool to me
AT-DP or TE, while smaller the TE was more practical than the ATAT and with a good crew, one could take on an AT-AT by it’s self and survive for quite a while, and as for the AT-DP, it’s a sniper tank, may I say more.
Good vid, red 5!👍
I love the AT-M6. They based the forward Leg motions on Gorillas to add a new kind of intimidation factor, especially during the sequence of Luke walking out to the battlefield on Crait.
Also, in The Rise of Skywalker, there is the UA-TT, which looked like a combination of the AT-DP and AT-AP, with the third leg being used for demolishing buildings and to massacre civilians in rural areas of Kijimi which is grim.
Also in the Clone Wars 2003 comics, there was an unnamed walker that looks like an AT-AT on Jabiim with thinner legs.
Sorry, can't help it:
"EAT-AT Joe's"
man i wish that starwars mobile game still existed it was so fun
I'm digging these "variant explained" videos that have been produced by this "Red Five" channel. And since this channel is probably the first I've come across that directly addresses the two (common) ways that A.T.-A.T. is spoken, i.e., either as an acronym (at-at) or as an initialism (A. T. A. T.), to both being considered cannon, I would like to ask if "Red Five" might have an explanation of when/why (or how) the use of the initialism pronunciation came about? Let me be clear, I'm not insisting that the acronym pronunciation to be the "correct" way, I'm just curious of how saying "A. T. A. T." came to be so commonplace amongst the Star Wars community. I know that neither pronunciation has yet to be used in any Star Wars films, nor in any mainstream Star Wars media; the massive, four-legged, armored transports typically being referred to as simply "walkers" (or "imperial walkers." Also, this does not include the commonplace pronunciation of "A.T.-S.T."s.) However, I do know that there are two very distinct reasons the acronym pronunciation ("at-at") has been used since the imperial, heavy-armored transports first appeared in "The Empire Strikes Back." The first reason being that the commercials shown on TV advertisements promoting the toy vehicle/playset version, manufactured by Kenner under license from Lucasfilm, always referred to the vehicle as "at-at" (acronym pronunciation,) therefore being the sanctioned pronunciation by Lucasfilm, or better yet, George Lucas himself. I'd speculate that this is why most (if not all) fans who were around when the AT-AT debuted call it an "at-at."
The second reason for calling the AT-AT an "at-at," as opposed to an "A. T. A. T.," is related to another imperial vehicle that is pretty much always called by its acronym pronunciation as opposed to its initialism pronunciation, even by those who call an AT-AT an "A.T. A. T.", the vehicle which is a Twin Ion Engine fighter. A Twin Ion Engine fighter is nearly universally called a "tie"-fighter (acronym pronunciation) and almost never (if ever) called a "T. I. E." fighter. Why is that?
An additional sidenote to this matter, that I'd like to point out, is that from a military standpoint, the acronym pronunciation (when applicable) is typically the preferred use for various reasons.
As I mentioned, I'm not trying to say the acronym pronunciation is the "correct" pronunciation, I'd just like to know how/why using the initialism pronunciation came into widespread use. If "Red Five" (or anyone else) has a reasonable explanation to give (in a cordial manner, please,) the explanation would be appreciated.
I can't speak to specifics, but the two chief reasons I can see are A: It's easier to say and B: It flows nicely.
To elaborate, "ay-tee ay-tee" is four syllables while "at at" is only two. Both ways have good repetition though, so it makes sense people are generally comfortable with either. Compare it to its common partner, the AT-ST. No one calls it the "at-stee", so it's no wonder the nickname "Chicken Walker" became prominent.
A somewhat minor point C could be the fact that Star Wars has been shortening designations like that since the very beginning. "Threepio! Shut down all the garbage mashers on the detention level!"
@@pretzelbomb6105 I appreciate the reply, but I am a bit confused about which pronunciation you are attempting to explain. As best I can interpret, you are giving additional reasoning for using the two syllables, (acronym) version of "at-at" as opposed to the four syllables (initialism) version, i.e., saying each individual letter, "A-T-A-T."
Am I reading this correctly? Apologies if I'm not, and thanks again for the reply either way.
The AT-Walkers reminds me of the Qubo-used and Qubo-made Armored Mobile Structure Fort Walkers, or AMS Fort Walkers, which they were used by the Audirookie Gangsters Kids, their Gangster-friendly Custom Characters, the Revengeance-led Tokyian-led Deviantrons, their Tokyian-friendly Non-Deviantron Factions, their Tokyian-led Deviantron Genericons, and Rebel Deviantron Genericons, and Rebel-friendly Neighbors, and the difference between the two Deviantron Forces, the Revengeance-led Tokyian-led Forces had 5 times bigger and stronger armor, and had more weapons, and vast ranges of equipment and soldiers, than the Rebel forces, and had a lot more comfort and had slightly larger groups of soldiers, and can withstand any enemy attacks, and enemy fighters, much, much longer than the Rebel forces, which resulted in the Rebels being brought down by the Revengeance-led Tokyian-led forces, in short period of time. The Gangsters, on the other hand, had their own AMS Fort Walkers, designed separate from the Deviantronian counterparts, and that's all I can say, so I'll add that to my list, as well. 😊😊😊
AT-TE for the vertical wall climbing!
AT-M6 is the most badass walker hands down
11:07 is just a German flak gun on legs 💀
Good vids !
love ur videos mate can u make a video on all military vehicle deployed by GAR during the clone wars please
I forget which novel it was in, but I remember reading about a mountain terrain walker that had a spiderish leg arrangement. It could walk vertically up a cliff face.
at-te?
@@cosmix1829At-Mt
I just love the All Terrain Defence Turret cannon is just basically Flak 88
You should do a video on all republic vehicles
The AT-TE will always be my favorite
One of the walkers I noticed you missed. There was a First Order walker in the rise of skywalker that was deployed on Kijimi called an Urban Assault Triped Transport (UA-TT)
At-Ats we’re first deployed ever on the first battle of Jabim. They had been used for 2 years before order 66. The version we see the empire used was the same ones used during the second battle of Ringo Vinde.
This is amazing. There are so many AT-somethings and they’re all epic
Good video. Just wish the list was organized better, such as all clown wars walkers then all empire walkers theme all first order walkers so it didn’t jump around as much
Just a correction, the AT-TE didn't have so called variants. They were all built in features such mag legs and the ability to scale walls. The AT-RT storage bay didn't have to be modified to store said walkers but they just could hold them if needed
The First Order also used All Terrain Heavy Haulers or AT-HH’s at Craig as well
SPMA-T is also something that could fit in. It doesnt have the "AT" in it but its also made by RHE, the same who made walkers like the AT-TE and its also a walker
I love your videos. You missed the first order at-ap
My favorite part of the video is when my ears get blasted with sound when the discord ad pops up
You missed the one walker that Sabine created which was extremely powerful. It was a modified AT-DP that we saw in season 3 of Rebels I think? It was pretty cool tho
The OG AT-ST and the unforgettable AT-AT are my absolut Favorits ^^
For reference, 22.5 meters is equal to 73.8 feet. That's the length of a Semi-truck pulling a 53 ft. trailer, from the very front of the truck to the end of the trailer. I always thought they were taller.
AT-ST is my favorite so much so that when I get the chance, I use it in Battlefront 2
The AT-XT is the coolest walker ever designed. I loved driving it in _The Clone Wars_ video game from 2002, and I'm disappointed it was never featured in the _Star Wars: Battlefront_ games or the TV series.
Only one I think that was forgotten was the Mountain variant AT walker, though more spider like than normal walkers.
Nice to see old and uncommon walkers get some notice.
Say all you want about the AT-RT, but I love it!
The AT-DT looks like a howitzer cannon on legs
More pls
The AT-AC being introduced in the Bad Batch heavily implies it was in the Grand Army of the Republic’s inventory, or at least one of their experimental vehicles.
Related, the AT-AT was a Republic design from fairly early in the Clone Wars, first being used on Jabiim where they were less than effective. I don’t think the Republic’s doctrine mixed well with it so it was barely used until Imperial times
You missed the AT-PD [All Terrain Patrol Droid] that was used by the First Order
You missed the duches walker featured in the rebels series that was created by Sabine
I will always love the AT-ED
My favorite is still the AT-AT from Hoth.
AT-DT my beloved
yoooo i love this channel lol
My favorite At-walker variants are at-st Walker at-at Walker at-te Walker at-ot walker AT-act walker at-rt walker at-pt walker at-dp walker at-rt walker at-ac walker and at-mp walker
the AT-M6 is one of the best things to have come from the sequels
There was one you forgot it from the old republic era I don’t member the name of it but you can find it early on in the game Star Wars the old republic if you play as a republic troop
I think you might’ve missed that one Walker you have to fight to get to Princess Leia on Kashyyyk in The Force Awakens Wii version
Love the videos !
I'm just glad we don't have to count the sequels anymore in the same universe 😂
You missed the first order UA-TT. Its used for riot control and has a large claw for grabbing rioters or tearing down obstacles
The AT-DT is basically just a Flak 88 anti-aircraft gun duct taped onto 2 legs
AT-XT...my dream walker
Wish you mentioned the cannon source for each, I don't remember most of them at all.
The swtor sith empire walker!
AT-PT is ma boiii since 1992.
You forgot those walkers that has big cranes and used to collect junk
All these cool ass walkers that we never got to see on a screen smdh
that AT-DT looks like it has a flak 88mm
Please tell me you did the variant from the Old Republic game
missed the raider variant from the mandalorian
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO the at at swimmer!!!!
My favorite AT walker is the republic ATTE
There was one it was like the spider walker
you forgot the one from the mandalorian whit the red legs
The rebellion should’ve modified and used trade federation tanks in battle.
You forgot to mention the UA-TT.
fyi "It features blue markings" I am pretty sure that is the Team Colour in Galactic Battlegrounds.
Rex, Gregor's and Wolffes modified atte from rebels
What was the name of the base builder again?
swimming at-at
What are the video games that are shown in the video
Empire at War and the now extinct Star Wars Commander
