If this doesnt work, double click ur network adapter and go to power management and untick the first box, this helped me, LIKE SO PEOPLE CAN SEE

Go into settings > network and internet > status and select network reset, it will undo all changes make to network settings and work, unlike this video

i used to like windows 7, and then for a while i wanted it, and when i found out about windows 10, things changed.
This solution worked several times, but at some point I started getting a "Code 10 this device cannot start" that could not be solved this way. For anybody that got the same problem, try restart and keep pressing F2 while the restart is going on to open the BIOS. There, press F9 to setup optimal values. That fixed the problem for now, that apparently was caused by windows 10 updates.
This method didn't work for me. But I found a way that worked which is pretty simple. Go into device manager and just disable the wifi adapter and enable it again. Hope this helps!

matthew ellazar it’s not supposed to be the same as his. Your adaptor has its own name and it’s usually the first one in the list. Mine was after two that said Bluetooth, so yeah. Everyone’s is different.

uninstall unwanted driver from list. it ll work. If not uninstall wifi adapter also.. then restart the PC

guys, I tried all suggestions, nothing worked ! Finally, I simply reverse windows 10 updates, everything back to its original. Forget about windows updates, Microsoft sucks, a huge company, cant even produce decent updates ....

click on Windows icon at the lower left corner, select settings .....then select update & security ...... on the left panel, select Recovery ...... then select "Go Back to an earlier build", that will do the job. good luck !

my understanding is that windows updates cause problems with those older laptop/PC with 4 to 5 years old. Somehow the comm adapter software was not supported after the updates. If your PC was working fine before the update, and now you have reversed it, by right it should work as it was before the update. From the sound of your situation, perhaps just check the adapter software, reinstall the comm software. Try also both Ethernet direction connection and wifi. Hopefully one of them will work.
this particular video is the one that showing how to reinstall the adapter software. Other videos went into the netsp commands which didn't work for me either.

Guys it's the WiFi problem occuring because of the Anti Virus in your pc..try uninstalling the antivirus and it should work..today a guy came to my house and he fixed my problem..the problem was with Avast antivirus in my laptop..don't worry guys you can install the antivirus again after your problem got fixed..
