I have struggled with this exact issue since yesterday. I've looked up several different support forums and lists of workarounds that I repeated with no results. After going through all of those methods a few times and about 36 hours of frustration I found this video while at the same time I was inspecting the network card on the motherboard and seeing whether physically removing it and re-attatching would change anything (for the third time). Surprise surprise, it somehow worked! The Wi-Fi came right back after restarting as if nothing had ever happened. So I didn't end up actually needing any of the advice in this video, but since I came here and was grateful to see options I hadn't seen suggested before (like the power flush), I'll say thank you! Videos like yours are a wonderful resource for people having these kinds of issues. I hope more people find them before accumulating too much stress! :D
I’m to the point where I think I need to replace the WiFi card in the motherboard, haven’t tried a power flush yet though. I’m going to try tomorrow. I spent about 5 1/2 hours straight trying to figure this out
The below steps did the job for me: 1. Changing the status of WWAN Auto Config to Automatic and Running (My WLAN Auto Config was already set to Automatic and Running) 2. Running cmd as an Administrator and executing the command "netsh winsock reset" 3. Restarting the computer Thanks for the above video... was extremely helpful!!
I was absolutely terrified but your video helped me so much! Draining the battery and restarting worked like magic for me. I would genuinely be so lost without youtube channels like yours. Thank you for your clear instructions and in general just for doing what you do

First solution worked immidiatly. My problem wasnt that it was missing, it says that it was damaged, uet I followed the instructions and installed the "most recent" one wich was from 2017, and worked immidiatly. Cheers. Now this is a Tech-Priest, may the Omnissiah light your path.

Dude, you totally saved my wife's laptop. Took about 5 different methods and magically it worked on about the 10th reboot. I wasn't able to do the power flush because of an internal laptop battery but on the reset, it just worked. You rock!

Great guide! Really covers all basis. Only comment I might have is that there are problems with the Command prompt when you try to -d. On windows 11 it’s supposed to be /d but that doesn’t seem to do the trick either.
You are awesome! I had this issue and every search only showed results telling you to turn on wifi from the taskbar, but it wasn't showing at all. I had to update the driver in device manager and it fixed my issue. I had to roll back the driver in order to fix it. Once I rolled it back I was able to update to the latest driver and it was still working correctly. Thank you for leading me to the answer.
