    If you want a uniform color, I suggest mixing the colors on some parchment paper and then pouring the mixed glue into the spaces!

    what's the longevity of using food coloring instead of maybe acrylic paint or something?

    • @cal0ri321
      @cal0ri321 Год назад

      Not sure about longevity but food coloring is translucent whereas acrylic paint would be completely opaque, ruining the stained glass look

    Could even use a shadow box with a lil light inside it to hang on wall!

    Moriah Elizabeth did faux stained glass and instead of pouring the glue and color in separately she mixed the glue and color on a paint pallet and then painted the color on. I think that this would be a good technique to get even colors.

    Edit: ooooh nevermind

    • @aishah.shahim
      @aishah.shahim 4 года назад +1

      The paper is just underneath the glass.. I think you can remove it after you've done tracing the design

    • @debbralehrman5957
      @debbralehrman5957 4 года назад +2

      It was a good question because the sides the framing still look white. What does kind of look like the paper still there. But it is that they just lay the glass on it.

  • @eguy6513
    @eguy6513 3 года назад

    I thought the whole point of it being faux was no glass being involved this is literally just stained glass 💀

    • @summerholmes4725
      @summerholmes4725 3 года назад

      This is painted glass true stained glass is painted with special paints and then fired so the paint becomes part of the glass. The pieces are held together with solder to make a picture.
