Europe have so much appeal in their music it transcends barriers and they inspired so much of the Scandinavian scene because for the first time since Abba the music world was taken over by a Scandinavian juggernaut. Their sound really got me when I was a kid and then back 21 years ago I fell into a lifelong passion for their craft because I heard so much more than I could have picked up on as an inquisitive child. Joey Tempest is such a tasteful singer always melodic always powerful. The whole band are some of the best musicians in the world. Timeless music.

12 years ago i had lunch at a restaurant called lilla Hasselbacken in Stockholm, as i sat there all of Europe came in.....and i froze!!! My childhood music heros came in!!! Thats all i remember from that day!!!! 🤩

Europe inspired so many bands out of you guessed it Europe. When they made it anything seemed possible. They were the first true sensation out of Sweden since Abba and it had a profound effect. Their influence is still felt. This song is one of my faves by them. I wish they'd continued in the melodic vein when they reformed instead of going back to metal, but it's still good!

Europe inspired so many bands out of you guessed it Europe. When they made it anything seemed possible. They were the first true sensation out of Sweden since Abba and it had a profound effect. Their influence is still felt. This song is one of my faves by them. I wish they'd continued in the melodic vein when they reformed instead of going back to metal, but it's still good!
