Easier way I’ve seen is 39.98 x 7.75 % then after you see the tax total simply hit + and = and you get the total with the tax included 🤘🏼

Easiest way to calculate your sales tax is to add the tax rate for you purchase. for example if your purchase is 49.99 and the tax rate is 8% or 8.85%. 49.99+8%=53.98. 49.99+8.85%=54.41 and if you need the actual number of the tax, you have to subtract your non taxed total from your taxed total. Example 54.41 - 49.99 =4.42 or 53.98 -49.99 = 3.99

I believe since they are purchasing it from your state that rather they live there or not.. They will have to pay the sales tax rate in your state.
